Fried and cold potatoes..Tuscan appetizer with cured meats and cheese cut hours before..paccheri with mussels with the latter cleaned really badly I'm sorry... and to say that I chose you for Easter lunch and we didn't even have an apology
13/03/2024: A far cry from what was once a restaurant with a capital R. The waiting times are really long, even just to order. The waitress, who came to take the order, besides being visibly confused, smelled of wine when she spoke. Regarding food: For our two year old we asked for a half portion of pasta with tomato sauce. They didn't have tomato... (Really???) So we opted for plain pasta, recommending that it be well cooked. We were brought a portion per adult, al dente but above all without having added a drizzle of oil as soon as it was drained, result? the pasta was all stuck, inedible! My wife and I ordered the catch of the day (8 ounces of fish according to them) with baked potatoes. The fish was clearly not 8 ounces (I usually cook fish of this size at home, so I'm quite practical) and the potatoes were not baked but certainly pre-cooked first and then fried! Someone explain to the chef the difference between baked and fried potatoes! We took a quarter of the house wine, it was brought to us after the main course and only because we asked for it. The prices: the house wine, a Vermentino of unknown origin (and yet the waitress should have been expert given her condition), costs €20 per liter (the price does not go down if you get a larger jug. It is €5 a quarter, €10 half a liter and so on) Believe me that the ronco or the tavernello would have been better. A white pasta, hard, all stuck together, €8, absurd. The catch of the day €70 per kg. When you get the fish for 20 (maybe even less), it means that you have a 250% mark-up, absolutely not justified by the product and service you offer! The cover charge is €2.5 per person for a total of €7.5 - spoiler: they didn't even set the table for our son, no cutlery, no glass, no nothing! When it came time to pay the bill, what I least liked was that first they made me pay and then "by mistake" they didn't print the receipt, so another 10 minutes of waiting to get it (because there were technical problems reprinting it ). Not a question about how it went, if everything was okay, if everything was to our satisfaction. I didn't dispute anything at the time because there were people in line and I didn't want to create bad situations in front of everyone, also because unfortunately I had already paid. The worst punishment for them will be that we will certainly never return to this place again, nor will we ever speak well of it to friends, relatives and colleagues, to avoid bad experiences like ours.
