26/08/2026: Been coming to Argentario for over 30 years and yet this one of the best place serving amazing hospitality (their wine expert is amazing and so knowledgeable), kindness, and fresh and delicious food. The place is authentic and recently touched up but preserving its character.

26/08/2026: The atmosphere could use a major overhaul. Good service, but the quality of the food doesn't justify the price, which I find too high.

25/08/2026: There was a flaw in the service: they brought the first course six minutes apart between the two diners, so in order to eat together as is the norm, one dish got cold (and then I think it was already cold), and then it was a bit too expensive for a starter, two first courses and a second course, a 75ml bottle of water.

01/08/2026: Tasty food and very nice waiter, there was a mixup in our order and they gave us the food we ordered an let us eat the food that they made due to the mix up :)) waiter was very friendly and when he heard we are polish he tried to speak to us in polish which was quite nice overall i would definitely reccomend :D

16/12/2025: Considering you're in a unique part of Tuscany, full of stimuli and unique flavors, a restaurant with that kind of cuisine is an insult to the region. Bland dishes served at the temperature limit due to the countless elaborate dishes; the entrée is a waste of time. I won't dwell on the dishes and will simply say absolutely nothing. A woman in the kitchen who sits all evening allegorically recalling the cuisine of the past when there's absolutely nothing of the past. The staff is kind, with a thousand thoughtful touches, sometimes even cloying. Regarding the wines, when I asked a very simple question—"A local organic or biodynamic wine?"—three of them completely lost their minds. My only regret is that I drove 1.5 hours to get there. My last statement: stop looking for stars that have become obsolete; go to the fields and shops to seek out quality raw materials.

20/05/2026: Unmissable! Traditional Maremma cuisine prepared with passion. Generous dishes at a more than reasonable price. Very attentive and never intrusive service. The restored ancient cellar is worth a look! A word of advice: save room for the tiramisu!

10/05/2026: Family-run business serving typical Maremma specialties. Very friendly service. Mom and Grandma are in the kitchen, son and daughter in the front of house. Beautiful vaulted cellar. Good value for money.

09/08/2026: We dined at Vòtapentole during our visit to Castiglione della Pescaia and were truly satisfied. We ordered a seafood pan-fried dish for two, pici with bottarga, and rock octopus. Everything was excellent, from the quality of the dishes to the presentation, and the attentive and friendly service. We found the cuisine to be meticulous, with quality ingredients and tasty dishes, but above all, that pleasant feeling of being in a place where they truly care about what arrives on your plate. The atmosphere is very pleasant, and the location, in the heart of Castiglione, makes the evening even more enjoyable. Personally, I really appreciated the double serving schedule: 7:45-9:45, allowing for an evening stroll, or 9:45-11:45 for those who want to stay on the beach until late. The food is very fast, and you're served within minutes—no rush, just the right amount of time. A well-deserved 5 stars.

16/08/2026: Dining at Ristorante Al Convento in Gavorrano is a truly delightful experience, especially in the evening, when the beautiful view makes the atmosphere even more evocative. The menu isn't extensive, but the offerings are carefully selected and of good quality. The ravioli with grouper and shrimp are excellent, flavorful and well-balanced, as is the fried fish, dry, crispy, and truly well-executed. The prices are absolutely in line with the quality and experience offered. A little tip for those arriving by car: it's best to park further down, as soon as you see the first white-lined parking spaces, and walk to the restaurant. A short climb, but definitely worth it, especially to enjoy the splendid evening view.

14/08/2026: The atmosphere is delightful and the food is good. You have a fair selection of meat and fish. I recommend the steamed shrimp on a bed of hummus and caramelized onions: a delicious choice. The service was a bit chaotic at times, which is perhaps explained by our visit during the Ferragosto holiday, a busy tourist period.

05/07/2026: The place is really cute, tucked away in a corner of a square, this small, cozy place offers excellent food. The service is a bit slow, but the waitress is very friendly and helpful. The value for money is more than satisfactory!
