29/10/2025: Rustic atmosphere, welcoming atmosphere too. Everything was fine, except for one slightly embarrassing thing (and it's not the only place where this happens): an ice cream (three scoops of cream and chocolate that would cost you €2 at the ice cream shop) was €5. They even sell ice cream in a dedicated ice cream aisle, so I doubt they charge such crazy prices.

13/10/2025: Discovered by chance, at the end of a FAI day that took us to the historic village of Campiglia Marittima. A delightful, well-maintained place, with courteous and professional service. Excellent cuisine and value, with a carefully curated and well-curated wine selection. An original, yet unpretentious menu. Solid cuisine, excellent presentation, a wonderful experience. We'll gladly try it again in the spring.

28/09/2025: Excellent restaurant with mouth-watering food... we ate fried octopus with gazpacho and tuna with caramelized onions... divine dishes, not to mention the sublime desserts... my husband is celiac and ate divinely!! Compliments also for the service and courtesy. We will definitely be back... the Masini family are guests of Sestosenso Suites.

01/11/2025: La Botteghe di Donatello is an amazing restaurant, the atmosphere is cozy and pleasant, the food is excellent, and the service is outstanding. We went there several times during our stay in Florence, and every visit was wonderful. I’d like to give special thanks to Norbert, who welcomed us warmly and was very attentive and friendly. From the perfectly served coffees to the fresh, homemade desserts, you could taste the quality and attention to detail. Even the savory dishes were delicious, prepared with authentic ingredients and beautifully presented. We also loved the atmosphere: clean, bright, and with background music that accompanies without disturbing. It's the kind of place you can come for a quiet dinner with friends or family. In a world where all places seem the same, this little bar stands out for its authentic atmosphere and the care with which they welcome their customers. 08/10/2025: A hidden gem of a restaurant! Excellent food and a family atmosphere. We had the florentine steak which was excellent (it was priced per kg, and we could specify a size), and the side of roast potatoes were so tender. Definitely recommend!

04/11/2025: I was there two weeks ago in gloomy, foggy weather. I didn't book, but they still sat me down and served me promptly. The staff was kind and attentive. They were hospitable and kind, and recommended wine and dishes. Everything was excellent; the meat was perfect, and the pasta was excellent. I ate very well. The place is very beautiful, tastefully decorated, with lots of features, but not too intrusive. Parking isn't very convenient; there's a small space out front, but you have to make do with the nearby parking spots. I recommend it and will be back.

23/10/2025: We had dinner at Girodibacco (yes, all together) in Barberino del Mugello, discovered almost by accident because we were staying in the hotel right above the restaurant. A very pleasant surprise. We ordered the Cafaggiolese, the house specialty: a boneless steak served with seasonal vegetables. The meat was tender, flavorful, and cooked very well—perhaps a touch rare, but still delicious and without leaving a crumb on the plate. The flavor was bold, slightly salty, but perfectly balanced with a half liter of house Sangiovese, which went down with great pleasure. We also added a side of baked potatoes, golden and flavorful. The dish was served in a very dramatic manner: the steak arrived in a hot pot, from which the waiter plated the first portion, leaving the rest for us to serve ourselves. A simple but effective gesture. The service was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere informal yet refined, suitable for both an intimate dinner and a convivial gathering with friends. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed, with that authentic touch that makes everything more genuine. We spent €38 each (for two, including water and wine) and were more than satisfied. A place I would gladly return to, for the quality of the meat, the kindness of the staff, and the genuine pleasure of the food.

12/11/2025: Hotel suitable for excursions in the area. Comfortable room, decent mattress, but not modern furnishings. Bathroom okay, heating okay. Overall good.
