14/12/2025: We have the best time coming here. Everyone is so inviting and the food is amazing. We always get the artichoke salad and the artichoke soufflé and then mix up the entrees. The atmosphere is very inviting and when we are in Florence it is all we want to eat! We go night after night after night! Can’t wait to come back next trip and the trip after that. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

04/11/2025: A truly special place! We come here often and it's always a pleasure. The atmosphere is welcoming, refined, and peaceful, perfect for enjoying a relaxing evening. The cuisine is always excellent, with carefully prepared dishes packed with flavor. Every year we eagerly await the pumpkin gnocchi with creamed cheese and truffle soup—they're truly special, a masterpiece! Chef Walter is brilliant; you can see the passion and care he puts into every dish. The staff is always kind and attentive. A restaurant we always return to with pleasure!

07/12/2025: Typical Tuscan cuisine with dishes you can only taste here... I had spectacular pappardelle with hare and veal cheek with vegetables. Beautiful location and very friendly service! I recommend it to anyone who loves Tuscan cuisine.

29/10/2025: Rustic atmosphere, welcoming atmosphere too. Everything was fine, except for one slightly embarrassing thing (and it's not the only place where this happens): an ice cream (three scoops of cream and chocolate that would cost you €2 at the ice cream shop) was €5. They even sell ice cream in a dedicated ice cream aisle, so I doubt they charge such crazy prices.

08/12/2025: We stayed at the property between December 6th and 7th. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, and if you brought your own food, you could also have lunch and dinner there. We had lunch and dinner in the restaurant, where we found excellent quality products and welcoming, knowledgeable staff! A wonderful experience.

08/10/2025: A hidden gem of a restaurant! Excellent food and a family atmosphere. We had the florentine steak which was excellent (it was priced per kg, and we could specify a size), and the side of roast potatoes were so tender. Definitely recommend!

16/11/2025: I returned to Trillo curious to see if my previous experience was an isolated incident. Unfortunately, it wasn't! The restaurant bills itself as a high-end establishment, with an average bill of €70-80 per person, but what's served—both in terms of dishes and service—doesn't reach the "fine dining" standards that such a price should guarantee. Only one waiter per table, bringing two dishes at a time, a confusing appetizer, a seafood tagliolini that was actually linguine, and incredibly salty! A salted caramel for dessert, whose name at least matched its content: salty, more than you'd expect from a dessert. The table setting is meticulously designed, and even the different types of bread are commendable... but unfortunately, that's where the positives end. I have to be honest, the outdoor location is very charming and certainly fantastic in the summer, but I don't think I'll repeat the experience: my stomach will thank me. I would also recommend a revamp of the website, a bit too Lavacchio style!
