02/06/2025: A wedding at Chiostro Cenini, turned out to be a leap in time where modern elegance blends with the atmospheres of history. A sincere thank you to all the staff who proved to be extremely professional, present and caring: they did not let themselves be overwhelmed by our wedding exuberance and were able to respond to our needs; they were able to create a good dialogue with us and made us feel comfortable 🙂. They are nice. A special mention to T. , as promised. PS: only with comfortable shoes.

27/05/2025: Thank you dear people of Casa El Vento, for a fantastic stay in every way. This was our first address during our tour through the Chianti and Val d'Orcia, which immediately set the bar sky-high! Thanks to Angela for the upgrade to an apartment. So atmospheric, everything with an eye for detail, we enjoyed every minute. The accompanying Osteria is an absolute must. Nice too, so that you don't have to get out in the evening. The breakfast was also a treat. If you want this, cooking lessons, wine or olive tasting on request possible, all from our own soil. Last but not least, a thank you to Adriana, the spa manager, where we booked the Vinotherapy. Let yourself be surprised and book this in the adjacent wellness. Hope to see you soon!

24/05/2025: Excellent digestible pizza: Mediterranean with vegetables (zucchini, aubergines and peppers probably pre-cooked in a wood oven... as they used to do... good memories... nowadays almost no pizzeria does it anymore)

Continued with an extraordinary, for the quality of the raw material, cooking and presentation of the dish, mixed grilled seafood and vegetables! Excellent ! Green apple and Calvados sorbet to round off this gastronomic experience! The Prosecco recommended by the house is excellent! I will return as soon as possible! 16/05/2025: This place was recommended to me because it served traditional food and because it wasn't one of the many restaurants overrun with tourists, so the prices weren't that high and the food quality was very good. They were absolutely right with their recommendation. They welcomed me with a complimentary glass of Prosecco, and I ordered seafood pasta, which I thought was the best I'd eaten in Florence. The price was indeed lower than the restaurants in the more touristy area. It's well worth going out of the city center to eat there, because the service is also excellent.

26/05/2025: Visitamos Florencia y Pisa durante un fin de semana largo, en cuanto a la comida, este fue el punto culminante de nuestro viaje. El personal era increíblemente amable, flexible y acogedor y la comida era excelente.

10/06/2025: We had zuccini flower with a ham - so godlike; it’s perfect for a starter, and truffle pasta with salsiccia with onion and truffle ia a very nice combination and don’t forget to order a cheesecake, it’s also a masterpiece. Our waiter Marco was a one in a thousand - cheerful, happy, helpful and lightened up our day!:) highly recommendable!:)

In addition to the specialty of mussels prepared in multiple ways, the menu offers a wide selection of high quality fish-based dishes and some options dedicated to meat lovers. The quality of the food is excellent and the wine list offers a vast choice from renowned wineries. I highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion, whether lunch or dinner. We will be happy to return again.

Abbiamo avuto l’opportunità di assaporare numerose pietanze, tra cui le cozze, che si sono rivelate particolarmente eccellenti. Oltre alla specialità delle cozze preparate in molteplici modi, il menù offre un’ampia selezione di piatti a base di pesce sempre di alta qualità e alcune opzioni dedicate agli amanti della carne. La qualità del cibo è ottima e la carta dei vini propone una vasta scelta proveniente da cantine rinomate. Raccomando vivamente questo ristorante per qualsiasi occasione, sia pranzo che cena. Saremo lieti di tornarvi nuovamente.

24/05/2025: We passed by this restaurant quite by chance, and my boyfriend liked it so much he reserved a table for dinner. Since we hadn't looked at the menu beforehand, we didn't realize it wasn't a "regular" restaurant, but rather a Michelin-starred restaurant (even though they don't have one YET). We ordered our dishes, probably a bit unprofessionally, and the waiter explained each dish very professionally and expertly. When my boyfriend asked for salad, the owner, somewhat offended, said that you should eat salad at home; he runs a fish restaurant. In retrospect, we had to chuckle about it 🤣 Presumably, both the owner and his waitress were having fun with us 😅 Despite our language barrier, the service was truly top-notch, and the quality of the food was also excellent. When we're back in Piombino, we'll be back 👌
