09/11/2025: Welcoming, clean, and quiet place. Friendly and attentive staff. Pici with wild boar ragù, sliced beef with Cinta Senese lard, side dishes, desserts, and wine—everything was perfect. You truly deserve a great review. I'm sorry I don't have any photos to share...we were too busy enjoying the dishes.

06/11/2025: Every visit to Montepulciano wouldn’t be complete without lunches and dinners at this wonderful place. Vittorio and Cristiana are the heart and soul of the place, their hospitality is truly outstanding. The food is always amazing, from the fresh handmade pasta made by Vittorio to the excellent, perfectly balanced desserts prepared by Cristiana. This is our fourth time coming back to Montepulciano just to eat here, and we’ll definitely keep returning. A true gem! We cannot wait to be back already!

16/11/2025: A truly wonderful discovery... Delicious Tuscan dishes (maltagliati with borlotti bean cream, crispy cavolo nero, and toasted pancetta), wild boar with Taggiasca olives (appropriately pitted)... a nice selection of local wines (the area is full of excellent producers). The service was attentive, and the price was more than fair, especially considering they didn't even charge us for the chocolate cream puffs (which were excellent) that arrived too cold. The owner was friendly but not intrusive. We'll definitely be back.
01/11/2025: A "big" birthday spent at this enchanting inn.
Leaving longing to return to this place is, I think, the most fitting way to describe our stay.

20/10/2025: I hadn't had good experiences with service in Italy, but this place was a huge relief, especially in that regard: the waiters were super friendly, willing to help, and even though they didn't speak fluent Spanish, they made an effort to understand us. That's where my experience started off well. We were greeted with tostones (fried plantains) and a glass of champagne 🥂 We had better service anywhere 🥰 The food: delicious! We tried octopus on a bed of potatoes as a starter: delicious! The octopus was super soft and delicious. We also had a pizza with prosciutto 🤤 This place is more than just a restaurant, it's a balm in the middle of a trip.

01/12/2025: A charming location. The terrace is a fantastic plus; eating there gives you the chance to enjoy a breathtaking view. The cuisine is excellent; being able to enjoy a tartare "seasoned" without altering its true flavor is truly exceptional for me. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive to detail. Good knowledge of foreign languages, allowing foreign tourists to feel at home without having to use a translator. A truly positive culinary experience. Thank you ❤️

She found us a last-minute seat with great kindness and helpfulness, and the food was truly excellent (especially the wild boar ragù). Local, high-quality products, combined with a warm welcome. Highly recommended!

04/12/2025: Today we had lunch at this quaint Osteria.
Everything was excellent...from the service to the food, not to mention their willingness to customize a vegetarian dish, which wasn't on the menu, for my wife, who was pleased with the dish she had prepared.
At the end of the lunch, the forefather, Mr. Stelio, introduced himself, kind and full of recommendations...including that of trying their FANTASTIC punch.
22/11/2025: Terrible experience. Unfriendly to tourists. Even people in the queue were unfriendly and making jokes.

08/12/2025: A truly pleasant experience, the place is very welcoming and truly charming; the only flaw is the acoustics, which aren't exactly optimal. The staff is extremely friendly. The dishes are excellent, especially the first courses (the tagliatelle verdi are definitely worth mentioning, truly exquisite and delicate), but the second courses are also truly excellent. I highly recommend it, especially for its location, an exceptional village in the Val d'Orcia that's definitely worth a visit: Monticchiello.
06/12/2025: The service is excellent, as Daniele is a truly friendly, qualified, and very helpful person. The food is of an excellent standard, with dishes prepared with attention to the smallest details, and there is a wide selection of wines.

27/11/2025: This place is inconspicuous from the outside, but very lovely inside. The pizza and pasta we had was full of flavour. The pizza was cooked perfectly in their woodfire oven, and the pasta sauce was divine. The prices were very reasonable. We'd recommend this place!
24/11/2025: This family run restaurant it doesn't serve fine dining plates or fancy decorations, but for sure they serve food cooked with love and from their hearts.

This particular establishment rates as our absolute best!
The building itself is gorgeous, especially the interior which is simple, tasteful and beautifully done.
The food. . . ah, the food! Hubby had the Meat Lasagne. . . the flavor was incredible! No tomato, just meat, cheese and pasta. . . it burst with flavor! Magnificent!
My lamb chops with potatoes were perfectly cooked and exquisite!
The grilled vegetables were also amazing, fresh, lightly herbed and wonderful.
We’ve discovered our new favorite place to enjoy the flavors of Florence! We’ve already booked another meal there.

05/11/2025: Don’t hesitate and just book the reservation. Incredible food, service, and atmosphere. Will be thinking about this meal for a long time. Their famous tortellini with smoked cream was good but the suckling pig pork belly is a must order if it’s on the menu.
