03/05/2026: We really did not enjoy our experience in 53040 ristorante. Our server was realy unpleasant, seemed to be mad at us for coming to the restaurant, we felt uncomfortable during the entire meal. Also took the food, and anything else we asked for a very long time to arrive. The food was mediocre, pizza base was dry, burger was okay and the fries were good. Overall a bad experience and we won’t come

29/04/2026: What a gem this place is! Delicious food and kind and attentive service from the owner. We visited twice and had a great experience both times. They even have ample gluten free options (including desserts) for anyone who might need this. Highly. Highly recommend!!!

28/04/2026: This is hands down the most overrated place we went to in Pisa. It was recommended by a local, which makes the whole experience even worse. Absolutely horrible from start to finish. We were the third people through the door after opening, and at that point we were the only British customers. Despite that, every single Italian who came in after us was served first. When it finally came to ordering, the waiter made a complete spectacle out of us. We were trying to speak Italian, and he deliberately pretended not to understand, then started speaking really fast and loudly in Italian before turning around and laughing with other guests right in front of us. It was humiliating. Then the food service—every other table was given fresh bread with oil, salt, and pepper. We were given a plate of stale bread just dumped on the table. No care at all. At around 12pm I asked for a coffee, and the waitress snapped at me aggressively saying no, I could only have one after the meal. The attitude was unbelievable—rude, dismissive, and honestly shocking. Who speaks to paying customers like that? At the end, we asked again for coffee and were finally “allowed” to have it. But the same waiter carried on pretending not to understand us and instead brought out two desserts we never ordered. The difference in how people were treated was blatant. Italian customers got warm greetings and friendly service. Tourists got cold, rude, dismissive behaviour. The waitress would walk up to tourist tables with a notepad and just say “Go” to take orders. No politeness, nothing. I have never felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome anywhere in my life. If you are not Italian, do NOT go here. It’s very clear they don’t want you there.

09/05/2026: The experience was just amazing! From the moment we entered to the time we left the service and atmosphere just kept on getting better! All the food was phenomenal, you have to try it all! It’s literally a hidden gem, I loved this restaurant ❤️

03/05/2026: We started off a bit stiff, but we changed our minds thanks to the great attention and professionalism shown later. We ordered three T-bone steaks: truly excellent meat and cooked to perfection. The baked potatoes and delicate beans were also very good. The cecine pasta as an appetizer is a must! We paired it all with a very respectable house red wine. They also offered a vegetarian/vegan option with a very good tomato pasta dish. Excellent value: the final bill was very reasonable for us (about €150 total). I'd say it was all good, recommended!

06/02/2026: My wife and I had lunch at this small restaurant in Pietrasanta during a visit to the town. Bar a Vins is a very small restaurant whose strong points are its excellent cuisine, the owner's exceptional kindness, and the intimate atmosphere. The menu features both traditional Tuscan-Versilian dishes and specialty items depending on availability. We opted for the excellent cod with chickpeas and Chianti tuna. The final price was in line with expectations.

You can taste the freshness of the ingredients and the care put into every dish. The service: The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly, taking care of every detail without being intrusive. The personal touch: Even the owner came over and sat down to chat with us at the table! That kind of gesture makes all the difference and makes you feel like an honored guest rather than just a customer. Value for money: The prices are very reasonable for the level of quality they offer. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back soon. Thank you for such a special evening!

26/04/2026: I only knew this restaurant by name, and mostly for its seafood. Excellent food (fish, of course), generous portions, excellent customer service, and a more than reasonable price. The only downside, but this is where parents come into play, was the proximity of a child who had been screaming all evening. Otherwise, a well-deserved 5 stars.

Scallops with Spicy Mango and Sour Cream Ice Cream: This dish is truly amazing! The flavors blend perfectly, refreshing and sweet. Slow-cooked beef tongue with wild berries, Ndua sausage, and parsley aioli. The beef tongue was incredibly tender, and the sauce was rich and layered; definitely worth ordering. Spicy Scallops with Asparagus Cream and White Garlic. Baby squid and clams with asparagus cream and white garlic; overall okay, but slightly less memorable than the previous two dishes. SPAMS LAY LAY LAY LAY LAY LAY LAY LAY The handmade pasta has a fantastic texture, and the seafood is plentiful. It's the kind of dish that's consistently delicious. LAY LAY My first impression was: It looks so ugly? Will it taste good? But one bite and I was completely proven wrong! Paired with peas and bergamot sauce, it's incredibly refreshing and balanced. Beef tenderloin was very tender, and the doneness was perfect. The foie gras was a little too rich for me. Foie gras dessert was something I'd been wanting to try before I even came! 19/04/2026: My wife and I had lunch here a few days ago. It wasn't new to us because, living in Florence, we've had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant before. The food is absolutely delicious, beautifully cooked and presented. The ingredients are carefully selected and of the highest quality. You can tell they take care and attention to offering the freshest products, respecting the traditions of Italian cuisine, rather than preparing dishes for foreign customers who might not appreciate certain details. You can tell they cook here with skill, passion, and a profound respect for the ingredients. The service is always impeccable. The staff interacts with customers in an extremely discreet manner. Never intrusive, always present at the right time. Finally, the price is more than reasonable for a restaurant in the center. The location is very elegant and refined, in a historic building in the center of Florence. One of the best choices when in Florence!!!!!!!

18/04/2026: Ordered a Lasagna and was given the most driest abomination I dont know how they thought it was acceptable to even bring this out of the kitchen to a paying customer...
