01/11/2025: Last night we finally sampled the atmosphere of this lovely osteria. Caterina is truly a fairy, and with her "magic wand," she prepares dishes so authentic they'll enchant you. Four delicious appetizers, a fantastic first course (lasagna, pici, and freshly made ravioli), and traditional second courses. For me, a vegetarian, she prepared leek omelettes and beans all'uccelletto. The desserts are delicious for those who prefer moka pot coffee. All slow food, just the way we like it. 04/11/2025: Had an excellent meal with a group. The service was superb with the manager being incredibly hospitable and welcoming. She made sure we were looked after while we were waiting for a late arrival. The food itself with superb, the arancini special antipasto and rabbit secondi were exceptional. All of the group agreed that this was the best restaurant we'd eaten at during our many visits to Certaldo.

17/10/2025: Went to the food fair last week, but preferred to have a real decent dinner - and dropped in there. Food was fine, wine list is extensive, service was nice - especially the padrone, who had time for a nice chat, recommendations - and even brought me my forgotten basecap even to the train! I definitely recommend this venue.

09/11/2025: That was absolutely delicious! We were quite hungry and had to wait until they opened, but we were delighted to discover that the wait was well worth it. The food was incredibly tasty, the sauce was divine – they really cook honestly there, I can wholeheartedly recommend it. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

25/10/2025: I think this is the first time I've written a bad review. Maybe it's obvious I'm a tourist, but being treated like this was truly disappointing. Instead of a regular menu, we were given a few loose, stapled sheets of paper with only a very small selection of dishes. I politely declined the offered wine, but it was poured without being asked. And later, it appeared on the bill as a matter of course. The meal itself was fine – our child even had simple pasta with tomato sauce, which was nice. However, that doesn't change the fact that local guests who arrived after us received significantly more attentive and friendly service. That was a shame and seriously spoiled the overall impression. I found the value for money particularly disappointing: For what was offered, the prices were very high – in some cases, even higher than in some Michelin-starred restaurants.

03/11/2025: We went to eat truffles, but these were of terrible quality. Each course lacked their aroma. The tagliolini tasted of butter, not white truffle. We paid €50 for a tagliolini and €33 for a tartare. We'll never go back. Don't go there for the truffles.

26/10/2025: Expectations were very high, and perhaps that's why they were disappointed. The first course, pioppini mushrooms and oxtail, didn't convince me. I proceeded with the egg yolk with truffle... too bad the truffle wasn't very fragrant and the dish arrived cold. Compliments to the service. Impeccable. I recommend cleaning up the dust buildup on the corrigati in the kitchen... it's not at all hygienic. I won't post the photo out of decency.

14/12/2025: Simple but excellent food. I personally had crostini, pickled vegetables, and bean soup, all excellent. The place is very well kept and the service is fast. Obviously, you have to like the "osteria" style.

08/12/2025: A truly worth-trying place. The city is beautiful, with lots of tourists, of course, and sometimes you'll find yourself being fooled, but that's not the case with this place. A restaurant with truly exquisite, high-quality dishes; among the dishes we ordered, I found the steak to be excellent. Excellent service, and the place is worth a visit. There were three of us, including a child, who was treated with warmth and hospitality.

07/12/2025: A unique, enchanting place; traditional Tuscan food, but also vegetarian options. Last but not least, a lovely selection of wines, Tuscan of course, the traditional method at the beginning is truly top-notch!

01/12/2025: I had a successful meal of my first T-bone steak in Florence, the birthplace of the dish. The wild boar pasta was also delicious. The staff were so friendly and attentive, and I was grateful for their thorough answers to every question. I'll never forget my last dinner in Florence. Grazie!
