They don't have high chairs for children and I found this a bit strange considering how many tourists there are. We also had a problem with the dessert.. It can happen.. The structure resolved it professionally.... All in all a good place.... I recommend it

27/08/2024: Osteria Miranda's cuisine is delicious, as they like to define it, which aims to enhance Italian and obviously Tuscan ingredients and flavours. Ingredients offered in surprising combinations and consistencies! This in a carefully studied, elegant location, where the modern connects with the past: the link with the old tavern is strong in the many beautiful plaques on the walls. You can find the list of what we took in the comments on this reel! The bill was around €50 each excluding wine. Thanks also to Mattia who followed us with great professionalism and kindness on this splendid evening. What else can I say, theirs is a "cuisine that restores", which not only delights the palate, but offers a sense of profound satisfaction with every bite. Compliments!

21/08/2024: Niente da dire sulla cucina che ci è piaciuta molto: tutto ottimo. Invece abbiamo trovato davvero fastidioso il maitre per due aspetti: molto insistente nel farci prendere un antipasto che non volevamo (vi tocca poi aspettare 30 minuti e che fate mi mangiate il pane?) e poi aleggiava sul tavolo costantemente. Ci siamo sentiti osservati per tutta la cena. Anche sul vino che avevo scelto ha avuto da ridire: e ha cercato di farmi scegliere una bottiglia che costava almeno il doppio. Insomma cucina ottima, servizio un po’ meno.

Without a doubt, it was the highlight of our culinary journey. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and genuine smiles. Walter, the waiter and husband of the chef, went above and beyond to make us feel at home, ensuring that every detail of our meal was perfect. His attentiveness and deep knowledge of the menu added an extra layer of excellence to our dining experience, offering insightful recommendations that truly elevated our meal. The food was nothing short of extraordinary. Each dish was a masterpiece, crafted with the finest ingredients and brimming with authentic Italian flavors. We savored the Pici pasta with white meat sauce and Pecorino cheese fondue, as well as the Grilled Tenderloin in Green Pepper Cream—both cooked to perfection, with rich and flavorful sauces that left a lasting impression. Although we arrived last minute and missed out on dessert, this meal was easily the best we had in Florence. It’s clear that the chef, Walter’s wife, is deeply passionate about her craft, and this passion is evident in every bite. 29/07/2024: Very nice place Sophisticated details and attention to the customer. The terrace on both sides of the corner restaurant is beautiful. Interesting menu but the tasting menu must be taken by all guests otherwise it will not be served. The dishes are good, fresh raw materials. Excellent attention to allergy sufferers, vegans and celiacs. The wine cellar is well stocked. Average price. I spent a pleasant evening with friends, ate well and relaxed. I'll be back as soon as possible

07/08/2024: No fuss, just very good and tasty Italian food. Pure flavors for a very fair price. The only thing missing according to our daughter was the lack of ice tea or another drink without alcohol or sparkling. But otherwise fantastic in every way!

27/08/2024: Locale fantastico sito nel meraviglioso Borgo di Badia a Passignano vicino Tavarnelle Val di Pesa in mezzo alle colline del Chianti tra Firenze e Siena. Qui potete assaporare al 100% la cucina toscana DOCG, tanta è la qualità di ogni singolo prodotto e per come è combinata nei piatti presenti nel menù. Il tutto accompagnata da una carta dei vini molto importante, veramente di qualità. Noi vi abbiamo pranzato per Ferragosto pertanto il locale era pienissimo, frequentato da gente locale e turisti, molti stranieri. I prezzi dei piatti presenti nella carta sono ‘importanti’, ma vi confesso che sono più che giustificati, per la loro qualità, quantità e per come vengono cucinati e proposti. Dato il caldo soffocante non avevamo moltissima fame, ma visto il menù per alcune pietanze abbiamo cercato di non privarci di nulla e mangiare anche alcune a mezzo. Abbiamo preso: (2) La nostra cipolla ripiena al pecorino di Pienza e Tartufo; (2) Taglierini con grattugiata di Tartufo fresco; (1) Filetto di manzo al tartufo nero; (2) Patate di Colfiorito al forno; (1) Crema di mascarpone con frutti di bosco e le nostre lingue di gatto; (1) Bottiglia di acqua naturale; (1) Bottiglia di vino rosso Carobbio (Sangiovese) 2016; (2) Caffè Espresso. Conto totale di 211 euro per 2 persone che ritengo più che giusto per quanto mangiato, sia per la qualità del cibo, che per la sua quantità oltre al servizio offerto, veramente di livello, cordiale e nei tempi. Nota di merito e non banale: Il personale arriva al tavolo per chiedere di portare via i piatti solamente quando tutti i commensali hanno finito di mangiare…. Cosa che alla quale non ero più abituato, ma che è basilare per un buon servizio. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente, ve lo consiglio anche per la pizza che abbiamo assaggiato tempo addietro. Complimenti alla cucina ed allo staff di sala.

The best food, very good wine and, above all, delicious desserts are served in a beautiful restaurant as well as at tables on the street. The staff is more than friendly and it was a very long evening… :-) Thank you!!!

20/07/2024: What a perfect hotel. Friendly, family-run hotel with fantastic cuisine. We were on our bikes (Reitsma route) and were allowed to store them in the garage. Furthermore, only praise for the hospitality.

19/07/2024: If a trip to the 60s tempts you then this place is for you. Hotel in a peaceful location. A great, very friendly welcome. Very clean room. The restaurant is not to be missed, simple and tasty cuisine, local products and everything is homemade.

20/08/2024: Allora la pizza , contrariamente a quanto decantata , è una pizza assolutamente normale , niente di particolare o straordinario..insomma come ce ne sono tante. Ma ho deciso di dare come voto 2 per l’assoluta scortesia del “capo”…..ho aspettato 20 minuti in coda con altre persone per pagare sentendomi dire “inutile sbuffare, dovete aspettare che io ho da fare “….senza parole
