18/04/2025: I visited this restaurant with my daughters while traveling from Rome to La Spezia. And it was a great experience, the food was excellent and great admiration for the owner, she managed everything herself. I will definitely stop here for a meal when I visit Tuscany again.

L’atmosfera elegante e accogliente crea il contesto perfetto per un’esperienza gastronomica unica, dove ogni piatto è curato nei minimi dettagli. La signora Camelia, con la sua passione e professionalità, delizia gli ospiti con creazioni culinarie straordinarie. Abbiamo avuto il piacere di assaporare un baccalà mantecato su vellutata di patate, una carbonara Grantosco dal sapore intenso e avvolgente, e una spigola dalla cottura perfetta, morbida e saporita, che ha conquistato il palato di (un Catanese) un amante del pesce come me. Il servizio è impeccabile, la carta dei vini ben selezionata e adatta a ogni portata. E per concludere in bellezza, il dolce Gran Forchetta è stato una vera sorpresa: un’esplosione di sapori che ha reso l’esperienza ancora più memorabile.

Cool staff, casual but chique. The red aprons complement the white linen tables. And the food tastes like a mother’s hug. Suprised and amazed!

12/05/2025: I had the most delicious dinner in such a cozy and elegant space! I recommend the tasting menu (I got the meat one, they also had a vegetarian option) that takes you into a sophisticated journey through Tuscan dishes! All truly exquisite. Wine selection is also top. And, finally, what a careful and kind service through out from the chef himself and his team. Bravo!

05/06/2025: La mejor maremma jabalí de la historia! Definitivamente vale la pena el viaje! Postres deliciosos también Teníamos tortellini que eran tan agradables y lados de frijoles y hongos. Volvería a probar más platos ya que la carne estaba tan bien cocinada, delicioso!

Outstanding food, the ingredients on the plate can be felt individually and together they form an exceptional combination. Wide choice of wines, labels from all over the world. Truly a wonderful experience. Price to pay more than in line with the quality of the dishes, the atmosphere, the service. You don't pay for the food but for the experience, and the price is truly worth it! Highly recommended for special occasions

19/05/2025: I hesitated to write a review for this restaurant. The reason is that I firmly believe that it is a place loved by the locals. If the kind service and excellent quality of food we experienced here were to spread, tourists would flock here like a rugby scrum. And that could deprive the locals of a precious corner of tranquility, which makes me hesitate. However, I cannot suppress the desire to express my gratitude to the owners and so I leave this review. As for the rating of the place, as many say, if I could give 10 stars, I would. If I were a Michelin inspector, I would give three stars without hesitation. My experience here was so amazing. The quality of the ingredients and the preparation of each dish are impeccable. The salad is surprisingly fresh, so much so that it even seems to have beneficial properties for digestion. At first bite, my gut flora began to clamor for more, triggering an incredible craving. The zuppa toscana is sublime. I know it may seem strange, but the moment I tasted the zuppa, I was reminded of the days when I would come home from college and my mother would lovingly prepare my favorite dishes. It was as if I was enjoying a dish that had always been dear to me, cooked with love, as if I were a son welcomed back home. The steak is the best in the world. I have been fortunate enough to taste various types of high-quality meat, including the best Japanese wagyu, but there is no doubt: the steak at this restaurant is unmatched. The cooking is exactly how I had always dreamed it would be, and the seasoning, while simple, is the pure essence of umami. During our stay in Florence, we dined here two out of three times. Last time we went to Zaza, which should give you an idea of ​​how fascinated we were by this place. I had always proudly believed that Tokyo was the world capital of gastronomy, but now, after tasting the dishes of this restaurant, I fear that I am condemned to wander around Japan like a Tuscan zombie, desperately searching for these flavors. I don't know when, but I sincerely hope that this place will continue to be the same, in the same place, with the same incredible quality. I wish the owners a long and healthy life, although, considering how healthy their cuisine is, they probably won't need such a wish.

18/05/2025: Did not have a reservation but they fit our group of 4 in straight away. From our seats we could see into the kitchen and the entire family preparing every dish. Everything we had was excellent and Got a small history of the place and the family and we would definately return. Worth the short walk from the tourist city center!

14/06/2025: Massimo is a great host! He welcomed us in Dukcisinfundo available to provide us with a tailored experience and he nailed it. We had a super tasty tagliere vegan and loved it! We also had a creme caramel which made the experience unique!

10/06/2025: Wir waren in unserem Urlaub als Paar in diesem Restaurant. Das Ambiente ist sehr geschmackvoll, die Lage und der Blick sind fantastisch. Nur leider sollten die Gäste die zu Abend essen, davon nichts haben. Draußen wird kein Abendessen serviert so hieß es vom Kellner und auch ein Duzend Gäste die nur draußen auf einen Drink Platz nehmen wollten, wurden abgewiesen. Wir hatten allerdings auch den Eindruck das sehr auf Kleidung geschaut wird und „potentielle“ Umsatzträger! Der Kellner möchte einem sein Essen „verkaufen“. Das Essen an sich war okay. Wir fanden es nicht herausragend! Wir haben viel mit Salz & Pfeffer nach gewürzt. Auf die Bestellung eines leichtes Glas Weißwein, haben wir wahrscheinlich das bekommen was offen war. Ein sehr reifen, dunkel Gelben mit einem Honig Aroma. Wir haben den Kellner nicht als aufmerksam und zuvorkommend oder sonderlich Freundlich erlebt. Preis/Leistung stehen in keinem Verhältnis. Nochmal würden wir dort nicht einkehren.

31/05/2025: We had dinner here about two weeks ago, and grandma il ritardo welcomed us very kindly. All the fish was very fresh and of the highest quality. Excellent service, the owner was super kind and friendly. Great also in terms of preparing a dish for our 1 year old daughter (which is not so obvious). Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

14/05/2025: Great staff(owners?), atmosphere and food selection. We had a salad and seafood risotto. Unfortunately both my wife and I ended up having stomach issues and diarrhea for the next 2 days. Maybe a coincidence however the only other meal we had that day was fresh pasta that we prepared ourselves at a cooking class with only 2 other people. We ran into a couple that had eaten here the same night as us, they had a pasta and the Florentine steak and both felt ok. Seafood?

14/05/2025: It looked like an ordinary restaurant, but we had a top-quality experience. The dishes were delicious, prepared with quality ingredients, and extremely flavorful. Best of all, owner Andrea took great care of us with care and hospitality. We truly enjoyed the evening.

23/05/2025: From Atlanta Georgia and i absolutely adored this establishment, we had Paolo as our server and he was so nice and friendly, we had SUCHHHHH a nice dinner and the wine was good was absolutely amazing, would 100% recommend and definitely would come again!

02/06/2025: At Oste di Lucca we tasted pici with Tuscan ragù and tordelli lucchesi that were simply exceptional! Typical, warm and welcoming trattoria, with a courteous, friendly and super helpful staff. Fast and impeccable service. Ended on a sweet note with a delicious torta della nonna. Highly recommended! If we return to Lucca, we will definitely return here! 🍝🍷🇮🇹

15/05/2025: Best restaurant we've ever been to in Italy! We've traveled all over Italy, and this place has the best pasta. In general, they're all good, but this particular place stands out for its flavor! The seasoning they use is outstanding... the service was great! The restaurant is in a beautiful location too! It's totally worth it.
