08/07/2025: Returned after a few years and expectations remained as high as ever! Perhaps one of the best restaurants in Castiglioncello, excellent quality of raw materials, excellent cuisine. Congratulations!

16/06/2025: I share my experience, which did not fully meet my expectations, to make some observations that, I hope, will not be taken as criticism but as ideas for improvement. Let me start by saying that we ate outside, the outside part is right on the Aurelia where cars and scooters do not concern each other. Most likely the inside experience is certainly excellent, soft music, in the environment. But in the summer it is natural that you want to stay outside. Our dinner lasted two hours and we all couldn't wait to leave because the noise did not allow us to relax and chat. The director's chairs, this was of course our opinion, uncomfortable for someone who is no longer a kid. Let's move on to the food. Excellent raw materials (and you can taste it) The amazing boiled seafood. The other dishes were cooked with taste and skill but some things did not convince us (the filling for example in the calamari stew, a first course of chitarra a little too greasy, and the gnocchi too too tasty). In any case I repeat they were good dishes and cooked with skill. The only criticism however is the quality-price ratio with the premises made before. The prices, always in our opinion and we are not the absolute truth, are a little too high if, in fact, applied to the outdoor environment which, in summer, is also practically the most popular place.

27/06/2025: Filet with green pepper really Tasty, good sautéed mushrooms, excellent tiramisu. The cost is not very low but the quality is there. Beautiful location, especially in the evening (very engaging panoramic terrace).

23/04/2025: Fantastic pizza. Easy menu with pizzas we could easly relate to. Fantastic view. All around local clients. 😊 thats always good! Very nice and helpfull staf always with a smile. Thank you fora a wonferfull dinner.

08/07/2025: Locale posto in posizione meravigliosa, si mangia sotto una veranda con vista sul vigneto Solaia. Ottima l'accoglienza ed il servizio, piatti semplici ma ben fatti, in porzioni più che giuste, carta vini limitata quasi esclusivamente alle etichette Antinori. Prezzi forse un po' alti per il tipo di cucina, comunque esperienza sicuramente positiva.

25/06/2025: We had a summer lunch here and everything was great. Nice service, great wine & food. I had pici with a spinach pesto & vegetables and my husband got cod fish. We were here with a dog and our baby and they were extremely accommodating. Fair prices.

01/08/2025: Served at 3pm with a smile, delicious pizza, top service! I can only recommend this place if you want to eat a delicious pizza in Castellina In Chianti

30/07/2025: Came here again after 3 years. Quality of Food, Service and atmosphere is still as good. Excellent Pizzas. Will definitely come back here next year. Highly recommended.

25/07/2025: Disappointed by the lack of price transparency. The Aperol, listed at €6 at the hotel entrance, was charged €8, without prior warning. It was only when we were asked for our bill that we were informed that the restaurant prices were higher. Another surprising point: plain white pasta for an 18-month-old baby (without sauce, oil, or butter) was charged €11. This leaves the impression of unjustified abuse. A shame, because the setting is pleasant.

09/07/2025: It was my birthday so I thought I would have a nice fancy solo meal. I booked a table for 1 at 1.15pm. The place was cute and I was excited. After giving me the menu, no one came to take my order. I had to call upon someone after waiting for 15mins. Then I saw, every table was served a bread basket but I was the only person not given one. My pasta and drink came, and they were below average. The host went around all tables asking if everyone was doing ok, except mine. I thought I would order a bday dessert as well but the service and clearly some kind of bias, left me with a sour experience. Maybe cause I was alone or Indian, either way, if you are not white or italian, or do not “look” rich, this place is not for you.

20/07/2025: A panoramic terrace shaded by trees. Traditional dishes (Panzanese tagliata) paired with interesting new dishes (eggplant tartare), all beautifully prepared... We'll definitely be back!

10/07/2025: A culinary masterpiece in Prato: Even 6 stars wouldn't be enough! What an evening! What we experienced at this restaurant in Prato was simply fantastic and deserves far more than just five stars. It was a feast for the senses, from the warm welcome to the last, unforgettable bite. As soon as we entered, we were greeted personally by the chef, which immediately gave the evening a very personal touch. The service was excellent, attentive, and always unobtrusive throughout the evening. Another highlight was the personalized advice from the chef herself on the dishes on the daily menu – an appreciation rarely experienced and which gave us deep insights into the philosophy and passion behind the creations. A wine journey of the highest order The wine recommendation was simply amazing! I've never tasted a better Vermentino – this white wine was a revelation and paired perfectly with our appetizers. The recommendation for the main course, a local Feronio, was so fitting that we spontaneously decided to change our itinerary to visit the wine-growing region. The fact that the chef even put us in touch with the winemaker demonstrates the exceptional hospitality and desire to offer guests a completely perfect experience. Culinary delights you'll never forget The dishes themselves were of a quality rarely found. For our starter, we chose the "Nel blu dipinto di blu" – a variation of three fishes that, eaten in the recommended order, were an absolute delight. The subtle nuances and freshness of the ingredients were simply impressive. The pickled anchovies with cucumber and celery were also a delight, sending the taste buds on a wonderful journey. The primi piatti continued this delight: the stuffed shrimp ravioli with pesto Genovese and zucchini blossoms were a dream. Perfectly balanced in size and filling, they were the best homemade ravioli I've ever eaten – a true homage to Italian culinary art. The spaghetti with butter and anchovies was also a highlight. Perfectly cooked "al dente," the anchovy sauce melted into a homogenous culinary delight that melted in the mouth. But the highlight was the secondi piatti: a duck breast with glazed carrots and three sauces. The duck breast was crispy and cooked to perfection, while the three sauces formed a creamy blend of individual components, the likes of which I've never experienced before. Each component was a small work of art in its own right, and together they created a harmony that was simply captivating. All in all, it was an incredibly fine, delicious, and wonderful evening. The entire team, with passion and dedication, created an experience that went far beyond an ordinary restaurant visit. Thank you so much for this unforgettable experience and the wonderful conversations! We will never forget this evening in Prato and can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

25/07/2025: 🌊 Breathtaking views and unforgettable flavors, an experience not to be missed! I ate at Il Romito restaurant in Livorno and I can say it was a truly unforgettable experience. I was lucky enough to sit near the railing on the terrace, with a spectacular sea view—a panorama that alone is worth the visit. The restaurant is clean, tidy, and well-maintained, with a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. The service was distinguished and professional, with a very kind and always available waitress, who made the lunch even more enjoyable. The food was the real star: I ordered spaghetti allo scoglio, accompanied by crostini with various seafood toppings. Each dish was an explosion of authentic and surprising flavors, some of which I had never tasted before. You can taste the care and quality in every detail. I highly recommend Il Romito to anyone who wants to enjoy excellent seafood in a dream location, with excellent service and a unique atmosphere. A special place that is definitely worth a visit!

24/07/2025: A wonderful place overlooking the sea with a lovely terrace where you can spend a romantic evening or with friends enjoying excellent food. The waiters were all very good, kind, and friendly. What surprised me most (in a positive way) was how simple it is and how inexpensive it is, unlike most of the others around. The food is excellent. We'll be back to try the pizza, which looked delicious. Highly recommended.

23/07/2025: A very quiet place, unpretentious but with ample outdoor space. The service is quick and impeccable. The pizzona is definitely worth trying: light dough, fairly thin pizza, and well-seasoned. The burger was also good, especially their bread, and I really appreciated the perfect amount of ingredients, which paired perfectly with the Chianina beef. I'll be back.

23/07/2025: Ugh, what a money-hungry mentality. Canceling two days late and then completely refusing to think of a solution, just taking the money without any consideration. I can't stand that. After all, you're in this business to make people happy, right?

31/07/2025: We waited about an hour for the four takeout pizzas, given the large number of customers. The pizza isn't bad, but, as other users have said, it's more like a stuffed piadina than a traditional pizza. The staff is friendly.

26/07/2025: Wonderful small family owned pizzeria. Excellent pizza and also the food was great Service was very Personal and friendly.

23/07/2025: An intimate restaurant on the hills along the Setteponti road. Ideal for intimate dinners or a quiet setting. Not suitable for children, so there's no point complaining about the wait or the unsuitable dishes. Prices are not cheap, ranging from €14 for an appetizer to €20-25 for a main course.
