06/10/2025: I finally tried it! Maybe it's because I've always lived in Siena, but I'd never been to this historic place just steps from Campo de' Fiori. My fault. I went with a group of friends, and thank goodness for that. Here, the focus is on substance, you could tell right away. The cuisine is our own, authentic, and respectful of the ingredients. We ate mouth-watering first courses, and the meat was fabulous, cooked just right. Some at the table might have been looking for more frills, but for me, when the food is good, it's good and that's it. The atmosphere is that of an old-fashioned tavern, without a lot of modern gadgets. You can tell they put passion into it. At the end, it seemed a bit rushed, but that's okay. In short, a nice discovery. A place that doesn't make smoke, but only roast, and good roast. I'll definitely be back.

05/10/2025: We spent a weekend in Siena, a beautiful city... and we had lunch and dinner in various places, but (on the recommendation of the B&B) we had dinner in this restaurant, really "very very" nice, but we were truly impressed by the welcome and the dishes... both the managers and the staff are incredibly kind, but what left us speechless were the dishes. In addition to the appetizer, I had the Pappardelle with wild boar, I assure you that I have eaten many, but NEVER like these! ...a spectacle (I had the Chef compliment me)... My wife had a spectacular beef steak and then the desserts... and not the "usual" desserts... My wife had a Lemon Tart (sublime), and I had a Ricotta Mousse with Peach Jam and Hazelnut Crumble... delicious... We will definitely return to Siena, and not just for the city 😋😋 Truly, congratulations to "LE CAMPANE" Highly recommended 👍 Salvatore

16/10/2025: Excellent service and quality, authentic local Tuscan cuisine. Inside, an incredible selection of quality, carefully selected local products. A carefully selected wine list. Must-try: tordelli, pasta alla barrocciaia, and the house fritto misto. Top notch.

06/10/2025: Superb lunch experience. Pappardelle ragu with boar was presented very well and tasted great. Wine suggestions were perfect. Sitting outside with a view of the square makes the entire experience very "Italian". The staff was great and the older waiter was hilarious (and truly professional). Might be back for dinner here since the meals I saw all looked great.

29/09/2025: Nine of us dined here, and the experience was truly positive. The location in Piazza Grande is unique and evocative, and the service is impeccable: the staff is kind, attentive, and always available. The menu combines traditional Tuscan dishes with more modern options, using quality ingredients and carefully selected pairings. Prices are average considering the location and the quality of the restaurant. Another plus is the attention to those with special needs: in addition to vegetarian dishes, there are thoughtful vegan options. However, it's best to mention any special needs when booking to ensure the best experience. We'll always be happy to return!

19/10/2025: We would normally have given 5 stars, but this time only 3. The pools were all closed, even when it was 25°C and sunny, which can happen if the property deems it appropriate (they are normally open from May 1 to October 1). One point less for this decision, which went against what we were told when booking, and for the disappointment of the children; another for the refusal to provide a sun lounger to an 85-year-old guest. The staff remains friendly and competent, but obviously bound by management's decisions. We hope the property will invest a little more in maintenance of the property and in attention to guests next season.

19/10/2025: When vacationing in Tuscany, you have to think carefully about the right location to keep the distances somewhat under control. This was perfect for us; the complex is very well-maintained and beautifully designed. There are many vacation apartments and a few rooms, like a village in its own right.

09/10/2025: We had a quick lunch at this osteria, opting for the €15 menu (appetizer and first course). Excellent cured meats and a memorable ragù, impeccable service. The owner, Cesare, knows his stuff and comes out often to check on the meal. The place is truly beautiful, both inside and out. What can I say? It looks promising, and we'll try the à la carte menu later.

22/10/2025: Excellent choice for breakfast, croissants, freshly baked brioches, friendly and professional staff, all young men and women. Of course, the pizzas for dinner are worth trying, and not only that.

21/10/2025: A really attentive service, very reasonable prices and really very, very good pizzas. I recommend the Carbotartufo pizza, if I'm not mistaken, it's a real treat.

19/09/2025: Excellent restaurant and therefore a great discovery that I recommend. The Michelin guide is right to recommend it as well. Warm welcome and good service. The room does not open to the outside but we still had a good time. As for the food: everything is excellent and fresh. They specialize in fresh fish. Great wine list. We ate very well.

12/10/2025: Unfortunately, our visit to the restaurant was unsatisfactory. Despite moderate occupancy, the quality of the food did not meet our expectations. The service of the staff was also unsatisfactory. Therefore, we are at a loss as to how a five-star rating was achieved.

A welcoming and meticulously maintained venue; the staff are professional and attentive to their every need (a special thanks to Samuele and all the other waiters for their courtesy and helpfulness); the dishes are excellent and impeccably presented. The Florentine steak is spectacular, melts in the mouth, and comes with an excellent side of baked potatoes. The desserts are exquisite. Dinner couldn't have ended in the best possible way: a trio of homemade digestifs, each one better than the last. We were there tonight and can't wait to return. Lorena and Thomas

10/10/2025: What an experience! All the plates were truly delicious. The place is very cosy. The waiters are all friendly and smiling. Reservation is a must. I would recommend it anyday!

31/08/2025: The food at "La conca pizzeria" was absolutely delicious. We've rarely eaten such good pizza, the appetizer was excellent, and the tiramisu was divine. The regional wine pairing rounded it all off wonderfully. We'd happily return.

13/10/2025: It's not my first time here, but I remember they used to only have pizza, but now they have appetizers, first courses, and second courses. Thick pizza, excellent dough, and good. Prices are okay. The only disappointment was the roast beef, which was actually just roast beef. Otherwise, we had a great time.

23/09/2025: We've been coming here for a few years, but this is the first time we've written a review, because the place deserves it. We've almost always ordered the so-called tourist menu, which isn't touristy at all: always impeccable fish starters, an excellent mixed fried fish main course, side dishes, and even wine at a more than fair price. Add to that the very friendly and courteous staff and the beautiful view of the Rio Marina harbor, and it's one of the best restaurants on Elba. Congratulations to the management and staff, and see you next year! We want to try the pizza, which looks wonderful...
