13/11/2025: Just steps from the historic center of Sansepolcro, this place, discovered by chance, is truly perfect for us. Beautiful, large, welcoming, elegant, with plenty of indoor (upstairs and downstairs) and outdoor (air-conditioned covered patio) spaces, and that "bikers welcome" that says it all about the hospitality that extends to my world. Excellent menu with a varied selection of typical and traditional dishes. Excellent cuisine, tasty and plentiful. It's special to taste the first courses directly from the pan where they were sautéed, avoiding the plating and focusing more on the essentials than the frills. As is the soapstone under the grilled meat to keep it warm. Excellent solutions!! The highlight was the desserts prepared directly by the owner: truly delicious!! Let's just say that for what we paid, three of us ate well and were satisfied. Recommended!!

15/02/2026: A beautiful hotel with an antique feel. I really liked the combination of stone walls in the bathroom and the room decor. The entrance is very beautiful with soft lighting. The staff is excellent.

19/01/2026: A must-see whenever passing through the Il Giglio area. A historic hotel, centrally located, with a family atmosphere and a breathtaking view of the Crete Senesi. But anyone who thinks Il Giglio is "merely" a historical landmark or a splendid terrace overlooking the Val d'Orcia is mistaken. In the heart of Montalcino, this place reveals itself to be a restaurant serving traditional cuisine and a wine cellar that truly immerses you in the heart of Brunello. It's by browsing the wine list that you understand Il Giglio's true stature. It's not just a list, it's a historical archive. The cellar boasts an impressive verticality, from current vintages to collectors' items that have shaped the history of Brunello, offering a panorama that very few other establishments can match.

01/03/2026: Even though we're not used to dining after 8:00 PM, due to friends' needs, we booked for 9:00 PM. I was very skeptical because the restaurant was packed and all the staff were rushing around. I expected a very long dinner and tired staff... but I was pleasantly surprised. We were given our table at 9:00 PM sharp, not a single second of waiting. The service was fast and the staff were very courteous and always smiling, even though there were only two tables left in the dining room. The food was excellent. The mixed Tuscan antipasto was simply delicious, and the pizza was SPECTACULAR. I highly recommend it and can't wait to go back!!!!

14/03/2026: Welcoming place, informal, friendly, and pleasant service and staff. We ate fish and truly enjoyed everything. The price was fair and in line with the quality of the products and service offered. We'll be back as soon as we have the chance.

08/03/2026: We're in Livorno for the weekend, and after asking where to eat, they recommended this osteria, which really surprised us. The location is welcoming and clean. The staff is super friendly, and the service is fast. Before they brought our order, they brought us some farinata, which we loved. As appetizers, we had the mixed seafood and the anchovies and burrata, all truly delicious. We continued with the spaghetti with mixed seafood, which was truly amazing; we loved it. Then we tried the fritto misto (this one was good, but perhaps a little greasy) and the pizza alla matriciana, which we all fell in love with! All washed down with the house red wine, which went down really well. The price/quality ratio, I'd say, is more than fair. Truly a great discovery!

18/09/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance, and immediately found the atmosphere very welcoming. Quality homemade food, excellent value. For lovers of thin pizza, this is the place to be. Impeccable service. Clean.

04/09/2025: My wife and I stumbled upon this restaurant on a Google recommendation. It's not a large but well-maintained restaurant, with outdoor seating in the center of town. For starters, we had ricotta and spinach ravioli with butter and sage, and a cream of truffle and porcini mushrooms, both delicious. For main course, grilled chicken breast for two, with a side of lemon spinach and French fries. For dessert, we had tiramisu (homemade) and caramel panna cotta, water, and a Coke. Everything was truly well-cooked, combined with friendly and professional service, so there were no long waits despite the crowded restaurant. The bill, €50, proved to be a truly excellent value. Highly recommended!

23/09/2025: We've been coming here for a few years, but this is the first time we've written a review, because the place deserves it. We've almost always ordered the so-called tourist menu, which isn't touristy at all: always impeccable fish starters, an excellent mixed fried fish main course, side dishes, and even wine at a more than fair price. Add to that the very friendly and courteous staff and the beautiful view of the Rio Marina harbor, and it's one of the best restaurants on Elba. Congratulations to the management and staff, and see you next year! We want to try the pizza, which looks wonderful...

11/03/2026: We stayed at this hotel during our stay in Florence and had a truly wonderful time. From the moment you enter, you can smell the pleasant aroma and feel the cleanliness. The welcome was impeccable: the staff were kind, helpful, and always smiling. The room was perfect, spotlessly clean, and meticulously cared for; nothing was missing. It was a wonderful stay that made our experience in Florence even better. We will definitely return and recommend it to anyone who wants to feel pampered.

07/03/2026: Good evening, negative personal experience. I must say first that I am Neapolitan, therefore accustomed to eating typical Campania products. The worst fried filling I have ever eaten was the unleavened dough, cooked incorrectly, the oil not at the right temperature, the filling was unbalanced, almost non-existent. The Margherita was the same, unleavened dough and the taste did not reflect the true Campania traditions, almost at the level of a frozen Cameo pizza. The cuoppo, for the excessive cost of 6 euros, had four seafood fritters and a mozzarella in carrozza. Disappointment, I had high expectations, I strongly advise against it!

01/02/2026: I was pleasantly surprised by the new management of Cantinacce. It's located in an open countryside setting, where we enjoyed excellent traditional Tuscan dishes like peposo and gnudi, with truly fantastic service.

17/03/2026: Amazing!!! Claudio is the host with a capital O, Anna is a natural wonder, and her mother is a wonderful woman. What can I say, the food is so good and authentic that it's priceless, every time we go we feel like we're at grandma's house! Super kind and friendly, with lots of gluten-free and vegetarian options. They're always understanding and available to accommodate the customer in every way. I can't wait to go back!!!!
