19/05/2025: Great food, and dogs are "tolerated." Unfortunately, the service was completely uninspired. Despite the restaurant being empty, we waited 20 minutes to order a coffee.

05/05/2025: Very good restaurant with excellent waiters and the food is perfect and tasty. Nice seating options. On weekends you should call and reserve in advance. I can highly recommend👍🏻

06/06/2025: Very nice place, sea view, clean. Very kind staff. Excellent food, I think the best fish I've ever eaten, the raw fish was really something special. Normal prices, those who complain about the prices have obviously never eaten good fish.

18/05/2025: A wonderful dinner in the heart of Pisa! Hosteria da Fermento is a gem with a truly Tuscan soul. We ordered Chianina beef wrapped in thin, melt-in-your-mouth smoked bacon – heaven on a plate. To this, papardelle with Chianina ragù – perfectly cooked pasta and meat that falls apart in your mouth. Antipasti with local cold cuts is a feast in itself – excellent quality and taste. Wine – delicious, regional, perfectly matched. Service – real added value. The waiter was genuinely advising, friendly and knowledgeable about the cuisine. This is a place you want to come back to. Thank you for an evening full of flavours and atmosphere!

13/05/2025: 25 Aprile, senza prenotazione, Pisa davvero strapiena e molti ristoranti, pur in coppia, ci hanno rifiutato l'ingresso perchè pieni. Per fortuna l'Hosteria da Fermento ci ha salvato la serata con un posto carino, un servizio veloce e cortese, un ottimo tagliere accompagnato dal classico rosso. Serata molto buona, per un posto che chiaramente prenderemo ancora in considerazione.

29/04/2025: Vintage place, with very attentive and kind staff without being intrusive. The vegetable pie and the pizza are excellent, large and tasty. Try the Chianciano cake, a local specialty: sponge cake soaked in almond liqueur and custard.

19/05/2025: We dined at Olio for my wife's 50th birthday. This restaurant is exceptional from the welcome to the dessert. A warm, cosy setting and top-quality service, with special thanks to our waiter Christoforo for his recommendations, who delighted us with refined, top-quality Italian cuisine. Pasta with exceptional truffles and tender meats that will melt your heart. A great moment of gustatory pleasure that I recommend. Clarisse & David

19/05/2025: Cenamos en Olio por el 50 cumpleaños de mi esposa. Este restaurante es excepcional desde la bienvenida hasta el postre. Un ambiente cálido y acogedor y un servicio de primera calidad, con un agradecimiento especial a nuestro camarero Christoforo por sus recomendaciones, que nos deleitó con una cocina italiana refinada y de primera calidad. Pasta con trufas excepcionales y carnes tiernas que derriten tu corazón. Un gran momento de placer gustativo que recomiendo.

29/05/2025: We stopped for lunch at this nice place near the center, I have to say the pizza was excellent with good products. Even though we were a few steps from the center the prices were moderate, we had a good time and were full!

10/06/2025: Ci siamo stati a cena ed abbiamo chiesto tavolo direttamente “sul mare” Arrivati, siamo stati subito accolti ed accompagnati al tavolo Dopo aver ordinato vino e cibo, ci siamo resi conto del fatto che, trovandoci in una serata molto ventilata, forse sarebbe stato meglio spostarci all’interno( la vista non è comunque compromessa) Prontamente, senza pensarci 2 volte, in 3 si sono organizzati per allestire un tavolo all’interno: in 4 minuti eravamo seduti. Antipasti ben impiattati e davvero interessanti ( dopo piccolo entrèe ). Primi SUPER. Servizio attento e veloce. Probabilmente rispetto alla media si può spendere un po’ più ma certamente merita

07/06/2025: Che dire, non c’è neppure la scusa dell’alta stagione che inevitabilmente va a detrimento del livello di servizio e dell’esperienza culinaria in un ristorante. Era una calma Domenica sera di inizio Maggio, piccole onde si frangevano ritmicamente sui pilastri della palafitta. Gli avventori erano limitati e c’erano tutte le condizioni per una cena superba. Cominciamo dal servizio, appena sufficiente per una pizzeria: piatti dati in mano, nessuna neppure minimalistica spiegazione, vino mai versato se non all’inizio. Veniamo infine alla cucina. Molti dei piatti erano affetti da grossolani errori: un baccalà mantecato che mancava di morbidezza, una crema di fagioli e seppie dove si sentivano solo i fagioli, il pescato del giorno stracotto, scarola con poco sapore. Solo un risotto è stato apprezzato. Un voto insufficiente anche se i piatti fossero costati la metà. Con quei prezzi, una stella basta ed avanza (per la posizione dentro il mare, ma in fondo come su una qualunque palafitta).

09/05/2025: It's close to the railway station, so there are plenty of homeless people there, it's more of a pizza bistro than a restaurant. Service No comments, smiling despite the workload, Piazza is cheap, hmm? The prices are similar everywhere and you have to add an envelope of 2 euros/person. Pizza 6/10: tasty ingredients, lots of them, unfortunately the dough was as hard as Skala and couldn't be cut with a knife. If it weren't for the dough, I would give it a 9. I think that in Poland we can eat much better Italian pizza

02/06/2025: El propietario es tan grosero, racista y nada acogedor. Todo lo que solicite o pida incluso para el bebé fue tomado como una ofensa. Casi se pelea cuando le preguntamos si tenían papas fritas para el bebé. Pls ser respetuoso con los huéspedes en su país n restaurante. Pedir algo no es cambiar tu menú. Pls no visita este lugar en nombre de la vista. Para colmo toda la comida es patética

31/05/2025: Solo la vista era per vedere, Il cibo è pessimo, la pasta non è nemmeno lontanamente paragonabile a quella fatta in casa. Completamente delusi.. Mai piu a cena in questo posto
