The tone of conversation, even at the surrounding tables, is always calm and in keeping with the ambience. The wine list is extensive and offers unique culinary offerings alongside the classics. The white chocolate mousse is superb.

02/03/2026: Ciancino is a must if you want to eat amazing meat! I have to say that everything is delicious, starting with the appetizer with various excellent cured meats and equally delicious cheeses!! The handmade tortelli are very tasty, the filling is delicate and pairs perfectly with an excellent ragù! The truffle fillet we ate was an explosion of flavors, the meat melts in your mouth and your taste buds thank you! Dishes are carefully prepared! The staff is truly kind, polite, and very knowledgeable! Highly recommend it for meat lovers! We'll be back soon. ❤️

25/01/2026: First time here, the bruschetta was delicious, the fillet steak was out of this world, the meat melted in your mouth, the desserts were very good, the price was fair. There was a bit of a wait between each door, but there were three large tables to serve, and I can't blame them for that. I'll be back

14/02/2026: A truly pleasant place and excellent cuisine. We were served excellently; the dining room and kitchen are perfectly coordinated, allowing you to experience the chefs' skills and their vision of cuisine. They also offer refined products, meats with different ages, and even the seafood is highly sought-after. They also served us an excellent fermented tea to pair with a dish. The wine selection is very interesting, and the service was impeccable in both timing and manner. The music playlist was also very pleasant: not the usual trite and hackneyed stuff (the usual sad, impersonal jazz that infests the dining rooms of gourmet restaurants), but a varied playlist geared not only towards the Methuselahs of the moment. Congratulations to everyone.

15/02/2026: How does it work? Stand in line, think about what you want. At the first counter we reported a medium portion of ice cream, 4 people, we paid, we got a receipt for payment and then moved on to choosing the types of ice cream. Medium portion means two types of ice cream + biscuit + whipped cream. The ice cream was delicious. Total for all people 12 Euro.

06/03/2026: Zero quality They sell you Chianina Florentine steak and bring you a rib-eye steak!!... The bill?... Add it up with a calculator! They're capable of changing even that! Absolutely avoid it.

06/03/2026: We booked this as part of an Opera experience and the food was so amazing that we went back the next night before leaving Florence. Great Ambiente, amazing food and the house Chianti is the best red wine we had for years. Fantastic service from a very welcome and wonderful team, excellent food and we can’t recommend it highly enough. Amazing find away from overcrowded touristy areas. A must visit when in the city!!!

31/12/2025: We were welcomed on the fly at 2:30 PM on New Year's Eve and treated like family. We sampled a superb sauté of mussels and clams and truly remarkable fried shrimp, followed by two fried fish and calamari dishes, so delicious and light they seemed to be fried in a cloud. The house wine was very good even without a label, and the homemade desserts were a fitting end to a lunch that proved to be a real end-of-year surprise. Our compliments and a Happy New Year to the owner and staff, who were kind, courteous, and knowledgeable. The price was incredibly moderate for the quality and courtesy. We'll definitely be back.

The quality of the ingredients and the care behind each preparation are exceptional, and you can clearly sense the chefs' passion for providing an unforgettable experience for every guest. Words cannot describe what you experience here. My heartfelt compliments go to the entire staff, and especially to Francesco, who was impeccable from the first moment: he welcomed us warmly and guided us throughout the evening, explaining each dish with immense skill and passion. An experience that will live long in our memories.

21/02/2026: The wine pairings were exceptional and a few of the dishes (cheese ravioli, egg dish) were super well done. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed by a few of the other dishes (duck and gnocchi) and compared to other authentic experiences it felt tourist oriented. Surprised this is still on the Michelin list

16/03/2026: It presents itself as a trattoria, but the attention to detail and style of the setting lend it the class of a fine dining restaurant. The quality-price ratio is excellent, and the staff is friendly and welcoming, always available to answer questions and offer advice. We ate truly well, sampling appetizers made with local products and excellent first courses. A wide variety of wines and desserts. Friendly because we brought Tabù, my friend's boxer, along, and he received many compliments. Highly recommended!

01/03/2026: I had lunch at Il Vescovino in the heart of Chianti and the experience was truly top-notch. Eating outdoors surrounded by greenery is wonderful, the atmosphere is super relaxing. Excellent food, well-prepared dishes, and truly delicious flavors. You can taste the quality of the ingredients. The service was kind and attentive, without being intrusive. Perfect for a quiet lunch outside the city. Highly recommended 👍

27/02/2026: Tourist trap... 12-euro cheese platters are beyond reproach, as is the cold cuts platter with 7-8 slices of transparent salami and 4 slices of ham. Pici are good, and the meat is nothing special, but I'm sorry. Despite the beautiful view (which I didn't enjoy due to the season), it's illegal to spend 80 euros for 5 euros, if you want to overdo it, for cheese and cold cuts, a plate of pasta, and a small slice of tagliata with a potato. One star for the bill, but the food quality is still average for the area.

12/02/2026: This place is a lovely discovery. Typical Tuscan. Very informal. Very friendly owners. And what can I say about the food? I tried a fantastic carbonara and a fabulous Cinta Senese steak. On our last night here, we had a fantastic sandwich. If I ever return to the area, it's the first place I'll return to. Excellent value.
