14/05/2026: Wow what a gem! The food was phenomenal and the staff was super helpful and kind. We were all pleasantly surprised by the stay.

10/05/2026: From the first day of our arrival, we were enchanted by this splendid hotel with a breathtaking sea view, located directly on the cliff. The view from our room was simply magnificent. The room was beautiful, spacious, and very clean. We were traveling with our dog (a Border Collie), who was welcomed like a true member of the family. The hotel is meticulously maintained, from the reception to the restaurant, the rooms, and the common areas. The outdoor spaces are impeccable: the sea-view pool is incredible, as are the terraces and comfortable outdoor lounges, perfect for a relaxing aperitif. The restaurant is simply magical: we ate wonderfully every day. The menu offers excellent à la carte dishes featuring fresh seafood, as well as interesting daily specials. The hotel staff truly goes out of their way to satisfy their guests. An example? After the first night, our son found the mattress a little too hard. We reported the issue, and the mattress was replaced with a more comfortable one that same evening. He slept wonderfully for the rest of his stay. A wonderful experience that we recommend without hesitation!

21/04/2026: I organized a birthday lunch on a Saturday, on a beautiful sunny day. The place was truly well-kept, just the right amount of rustic, surrounded by greenery that gives it a sense of peace, and is perfect for getting up for a quick smoke or taking a walk between meals without disturbing other diners. The menu was simple but super effective, with excellent ingredients, cooked truly, truly well! From the homemade starters to the meat, everything was delicious! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful! Even though we were a fairly large group, they accommodated all our various requests, last-minute changes, and so on. Really good! I'll definitely be back!

01/04/2026: Excellent lunch with friends, we booked about a month in advance. My friends really enjoyed the tortelli, but they already knew the place. They were very well prepared for gluten-free dining. I managed to eat a mixed antipasto with gluten-free bagged bread and a well-made first course, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms. The sauce was good, and the pasta was well-cooked. If not homemade, buy fresh. I saw they also have gluten-free craft beer in the fridge. The pizza also looked good. Recommended.

27/04/2026: We're now at home here. The food is excellent, both gluten-free and gluten-free. There's ample parking, and in the summer you can eat outside in the cool air. If you're passing by, stop by.

12/10/2025: I went with a group, and the person who took us there said he'd met the owner while he was in the hospital. Considering how much we spent, not to mention the wine we were offered because of this "acquaintance," I wasn't very satisfied.

24/11/2025: An incredible experience. We were recommended this restaurant by friends from Florence, and honestly, we were so lucky to discover it. Gerardo's attentiveness and friendly service, the quality of the fresh, expertly prepared ingredients, the quality and variety of the wines... We'll definitely be back.

12/11/2025: A small seafood restaurant in the heart of the San Niccolò neighborhood. Outdoor seating and a few indoor dining areas. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent raw seafood and baked fish. Extensive wine list. Average prices. I returned after a year and found the quality of the dishes to have improved. A place I'll return to often when I'm craving a good seafood dinner in a pleasant atmosphere.

15/05/2026: Every time we are in Lucca we make sure to have dinner at Antica Locanda dell'Angelo. This is a very elegant restaurant located in the historic center with amazing food and a wonderfully kind, welcoming staff. The food they prepare is a fresh and delicious interpretation of traditional Luccese fare. We have been welcomed back by Vito and Stefania on every occasion and we have never been disappointed.

12/05/2026: Lucca's historic restaurant, impeccably managed and offering a varied and delicately refined menu. Mr. Vito and his mother, who have run it for decades, are extremely kind and well-mannered, and it's always an honor and a true pleasure to delight your palate with their dishes. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

01/06/2026: Without a doubt, my favorite place in Florence. Every time I go, I feel so pampered, both by the good food and by Roberto and Monica's kindness. Going to lunch there always combines the pleasure of eating something rich, authentic, and healthy with the pleasure of being there, with them. It's also worth mentioning that I'm now addicted to the tuna sandwich. But I'd also say that, with the love they put into the food, the coffee, the desserts, the stuffed potatoes, the drinks... everything, really everything, is delicious. I don't want to make this too long, but in a city like Florence, where downtown neighborhoods sometimes don't feel like neighborhoods anymore, this café feels just like home. Even though the restaurant was fully booked, the owner Giuseppe still managed to find us a table, demonstrating great customer service and a rare level of helpfulness. From the very beginning, he welcomed us with warmth and professionalism, making us feel at ease and contributing to a warm and pleasant atmosphere. The service was impeccable throughout the evening, always with a smile. The food fully met our expectations: carefully prepared, flavorful dishes, and prepared with evident passion. The quality of the ingredients and attention to detail are evident. A special thanks to Giuseppe for his kindness and for making our evening even more enjoyable. We will definitely be back! 17/04/2026: It's so delicious that we visited Oscar twice during our stay in Livorno! The dishes impress with their combination of ingredients and impeccable freshness. Everything is refined, modern, and truly delicious! The tuna tataki on a bed of tender onions was especially memorable – a true gastronomic delight. The superb quality of the dishes, the extensive wine selection, and the truly welcoming service make this place a must-visit.

02/05/2026: We'd been missing for a while, but as always, it didn't disappoint. Excellent quality of ingredients. To start, we ordered 4 fried zucchini flowers. The only small flaw was that the oil should have been still warm when they fried them; they weren't perfectly crispy. Despite everything, the frying was dry. Highly recommended. Next, 4 wood-fired pizzas, excellent in terms of dough, flavor, and ingredients. To finish, the desserts. To quote Marisa Laurito's Sanremo song.....Baba is a serious thing...and that says it all!!! Good value for money. Go there, and you'll agree.
