29/04/2026: Deliciously executed food with great professional service. Went in on a Sunday lunch without a reservation and was able to grab a table. Possible that the fried calamari and prawns could have been enhanced with a citrus aioli to cut through the fried food but nevertheless was great.

The space invites you to savor excellent dishes such as Pici dell'Osteria or yogurt with fresh fruit coulis, not forgetting a glass of prosecco accompanied by a warm amuse-bouche. The service is highly professional and respectful of the customer. Enjoying such moments among 16 diners, surrounded by local products for sale, under delicately painted vaulted ceilings, is a delight.

31/05/2026: Couple's lunch on Saturday, May 30th. The sunny day and Castiglioncello, which wasn't yet in full summer mode, certainly contributed to making it a perfect day. The restaurant exceeded our expectations, allowing us to spend two wonderful hours at the table, overlooking the sea. Everything was excellent, starting with the friendliness, good humor, and preparation of the entire staff, along with the deliciousness of every dish we tried. I can't recommend this place enough. A little extra tip: during the summer months, try to book seats on the terrace overlooking the sea in advance. You can sense the passion and attention to the products and the local area. The prices are also fair.

04/06/2026: A good selection of pasta, all of good quality and well-prepared, at a reasonable price. The risotto was also very good, as was the panna cotta. The pizzas being served at other tables also looked good, although we didn't get a chance to try them. The service was adequate. It's worth taking a 10-minute trip from the center of Florence to enjoy a meal in a quieter place with more reasonable prices like this.

13/05/2026: Honest Tuscan cuisine in a very pleasant atmosphere and service. We were a group of friends and we really enjoyed it. The spinach strudel and the grilled beef were delicious. Cozy interior and well-kept terrace.

06/05/2026: Stumbled across this place and was lucky enough to get a table for 6. Absolutely delicious food, every dish was amazing. The service was also outstanding. What a hidden gem.

05/06/2026: Very nice trattoria, you can eat there for very reasonable prices. We were with 6 people, everything is freshly made with simplicity. Small groups sit together at a table. Very nice atmosphere. Prices that make you think that's impossible. We will definitely come back sometime. Restaurant opens at 19:15, go early; we were there at 18:30 and there was already a line, and it just kept getting bigger. Don't expect high service; it's just like eating at Donna's own home.

13/05/2026: Great hotel by the beach with a fantastic restaurant. Would definitely stay there again. Theresa and staff gave us wonderful service from beginning to end. Free parking and a restaurant that is one of if not the best in town.

04/05/2026: What an absolute gem we found when we happened upon this lovely spot. Family owned since 1927, the current owners--three siblings--have cleary maintained the quality and warm hospitality established by generations before them. We loved our room, the staff, the restaurant, the pristine beach. We could have stayed a week but are happy to have had an overnight here. Grazie mille...we hope to return!

13/05/2026: This place is a gem. We were horrible tourists: arriving 15 min before closing, accidentally ordering red vs white wine and they had to switch the wine for us, we didn’t speak Italian, we were in a rush, saying no to the bread (we’ve had so much we couldn’t take more). And despite all this, they were so kind and the food was so good and there was only one euro per person charged for eating in (normally at least 3 in touristy areas). Wine was a great deal at 6.50 per half litre and was super tasty. The pasta was perfect. We had the cacio e pepe and the wild boar tagliatelle. Divine. I would have stayed to try the desserts but we didn’t have time. Thank you, Osteria Da Gano, for an amazing lunch we won’t forget soon!

12/05/2026: It was a lovely surprise! The atmosphere is beautiful and the food was wonderful! We ordered the pappardelle, the pici, and the house wine. I recommend it!

29/10/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant with a beautiful view of the harbor. A large restaurant with both indoor and outdoor tables, both on the inner side of the city walls. A la carte menu. We opted for two appetizers and two pistachio-crusted tuna. Delicious! Recommended!

07/06/2026: Excellent food and quality ingredients. Impeccable and always very friendly service. The staff are always friendly and patient. Unfortunately, they've raised the prices too much, and for some dishes (wild boar Suveretana style, for example), they've reduced the portions. Even the house wine, from local producers, while still excellent, is perhaps a bit too much at €20, and for a dinner for two, it weighs heavily on the total bill. Alternatively, a €6 glass... just a couple of fingers' worth of wine is enough for a taste. Luckily for the owners, the place is always busy; especially foreigners and Americans, they have no problem leaving a generous tip. We'll definitely be back, but even our Italian budget has its limits, and unfortunately these places are increasingly less affordable.

02/06/2026: Young, competent, and extremely friendly staff. Excellent location with lovely outdoor tables overlooking the village. Delicious dishes, especially the wild boar. Congratulations! We've been here before during a holiday weekend, and it's once again an excellent choice. Well done. Highly recommended if you're in the area. I recommend booking because the area is very touristy, and it's not always easy to find a table on weekends.

27/05/2026: Very different experience at the atrattpria Napoleone. Had it as part of my dinner and opera package and so glad i did. I would have misses this little gem off the beaten path. The food was delicious and different from every other place I have eaten in Italy thus far. Great job!

24/05/2026: Enchanting location! Just like being in another era. Friendly and knowledgeable waiters. The welcome dish was very well received. Spectacular meat! First-rate, both the tagliata and the tartare with truffle. I didn't really like the mussels with pepper sauce I ordered because it lacked pepper or salt, and the mussels weren't fresh. The wine list is excellent. The wait between courses was a bit long, even though we arrived early.
