Si percepisce l’amore per il cibo e per come presentarlo, sia nella qualità, nell’impiattamento e nel servizio al tavolo. Impossibile non sentirsi a casa e a proprio agio in questo ristorante che presenta una cura estrema nei dettagli dosando eleganza evitando formalismi nel servizio. E tutto questo senza che il cliente se ne accorga, ma semplicemente si senta appunto a casa propria in un ambiente magico fatto di rumore del mare e buon cibo. Consigliatissimo.

13/07/2025: Location una delle migliori della zona. Menu potrebbe essere migliorato con piu scelte. La cosa negativa che alle 22.20 nn ho potuto ordinare il secondo in quanto mi è stato detto la cucina era già chiusa! In piena estate a mio avviso è sconcertante !!

06/08/2025: Amazing food. The waitresses were really nice, but there weren't many, so we had to wait a long time. The atmosphere was a little noisy, but the food and beer were excellent. Top! Highly recommended!

26/07/2025: Excellent pizzas. And not just the usual classics, but some truly creative ones. They use 100% authentic Neapolitan buffalo mozzarella, not the "mixed" one that many pass off as DOP buffalo mozzarella.

01/07/2025: A wonderful discovery among the flavors of Garfagnana We came across it almost by chance while searching Google for a place to eat, and what a nice surprise! After booking a table for two, we were welcomed with kindness and made to sit under a charming outdoor veranda. The environment is simple but well-kept, perfect for enjoying a quiet dinner. The menu offers a rich selection of traditional Garfagnana dishes, with typical products and really interesting combinations. We started with the “della Capannina” appetizer: a riot of local flavors with cured meats, crostini, spelt and other delicacies. Next, spelt flour gnocchi with pecorino cheese fondue and speck (creamy and tasty), chestnut flour pappardelle with leeks and sausage (a rustic and well-balanced dish), and a surprising rabbit stuffed with sausage, black cabbage and chestnut sauce, accompanied by roast potatoes ordered separately. They even offered us a taste of fried porcini mushrooms! The ending was worthy of applause: chestnut fritters (Necci) with ricotta and chocolate, served in a generous tray of six pieces, even though there were only two of us! Generous portions, excellent quality, more than fair prices and a warm welcome. An experience that we enthusiastically recommend. See you next time!

22/07/2025: Where do I start? Unfortunately, I left this meal very disappointed. I first visited Bistrot in July 2020 with my mother. We discovered it by chance, tried it, and were absolutely impressed, every dish was outstanding, the service was excellent, and we returned the very next night. We left Forte dei Marmi with beautiful memories, one of the most vivid being the amazing dinners we had there. Fast forward five years: I’m back in Forte, this time with my boyfriend for one night. As soon as we planned the trip, I booked Bistrot immediately because I wanted him to experience the same exceptional food. I also noticed they had since earned a Michelin star, which raised my expectations even more. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to them. We were seated promptly, but the atmosphere felt chaotic. The staff weren’t exactly rushing, but there was a constant sense of urgency that made the space feel stressful rather than refined. Both my boyfriend and I noticed it straight away, not what you expect from a Michelin-level experience, but we were still hopeful. While ordering, I mentioned my allergies, and the waiter took note. He also pointed out that my boyfriend had only ordered meat dishes and asked if it was a preference, since the chef would be sending out amuse-bouches. We confirmed it was, and he said he’d inform the kitchen. When the amuse-bouches arrived, my boyfriend’s plate was identical to mine, two of the bites contained fish. He decided to try them anyway, but the oversight was disappointing. I also double-checked with the waiter who served them if they were safe for me (celery allergy). He said one might contain celery, something I had already informed another staff member about. He went to double-check and came back confirming it was safe, but this shouldn’t happen in a Michelin-starred restaurant. For starters, I had the calamari with chickpeas, and my boyfriend had the beef tartare. Both were beautifully plated, but lacked flavor. My calamari needed seasoning, and the tartare, though served with a sauce, tasted like plain meat. Thankfully, the bread selection was delicious, one of the few highlights up to that point. For the main course, I had the turbot, and my boyfriend had the green chicche with rabbit ragù and salted ricotta. Again, mine was bland. His, on the other hand, was flavorful and by far the best dish of the evening, the only one we’d recommend. For dessert, we shared a mascarpone cream with berries and cacao crumble. It was okay, but unremarkable. The true highlight of the evening was the sommelier, a young man who was friendly, knowledgeable, and consistently attentive. He helped us choose a wine and checked in with us throughout the night. His service was truly appreciated and stood out from the rest of the staff. That said, there were other service issues. We were seated at what I believe was the worst table in the restaurant, right in front of a door to the terrace. Staff constantly passed through, and every time, my hair (which I had in a bun) was brushed or bumped as they moved past. It was distracting and unpleasant, and no one seemed to notice. There were also a few issues with wine service. My boyfriend’s glass sat empty for a while until he poured it himself. A staff member noticed and apologized, but later in the meal the same thing happened, his glass stayed empty for another eight minutes before being refilled. The bill came to around €270, which I wouldn’t have minded at all had the food and service matched what I experienced in 2020. Sadly, it didn’t. I know some of my comments might seem picky, but I believe they’re fair, especially when evaluating a Michelin-starred restaurant. Even without the star, I don’t think I’d return. The food simply wasn’t memorable. It’s such a shame. I remembered this place as truly special. I hope my feedback is taken as a genuine opportunity to reflect and improve.

17/07/2025: Stunning. Pasta with red mullet beautifully executed and tasty. Croaker with vegetables a masterpiece. These people know their fish and how to cook it exceptionally well. I wonder if people who dislike the welcome are mistaking a carefully respectful ambience. The atmosphere is very restrained. Perfect for fine dining.

30/07/2025: Delicious pizza, risotto, pasta with seafood. Risotto was great, wild rice and seafood were fresh, first amazing risotto in a long time. Charming waiter. Reasonable prices. I recommend.

16/07/2025: The restaurant is cozy and the service is good. Some of the dishes we had the fricasse, cold cut and tiramisu was great and some the of the were not spectacular.

30/06/2025: Rustic and inviting location, good food and fair prices. Too bad for the lack of availability and slight arrogance of the owner in understanding and solving the needs of customers: as read in other reviews, if you go to dinner around 7:30 pm, the tables in front are completely exposed to the sun, which is not very pleasant these days, both for the heat and for the light that at that time is still blinding. When we asked for a curtain or to move to another table, we were told that it's fine because people come to enjoy the sunset and they are "kissed by the sun". I invite the young lady to sit at that table at that time and with the sun in front, she will understand that there is nothing romantic but that it is only a useless torture for the customers, which can also be solved with a simple 20.00 euro cane curtain.

Cada plato fue elaborado con tanto cuidado y creatividad, y el enchapado realmente se sintió como una obra de arte. No solo la comida era deliciosa, sino que la presentación visual hizo la experiencia aún más especial. El servicio fue atento y cálido, haciendo que toda la experiencia gastronómica fuera cómoda y agradable de principio a fin. IT fue una experiencia impecable en todos los aspectos sabor, ambiente y servicio y puedo recomendar con confianza este restaurante a cualquiera. IT es el lugar perfecto para celebrar una ocasión especial o compartir una comida memorable con alguien que te importa.

02/08/2025: We came here with our 9 month old baby and the owner Camelia made us feel so warmly welcomed. She personally walked us through the different dishes of the day, and recommended the freshest catch and wine as well. Our baby was noisy but we were made to feel like family! The seafood here is excellent, ingredients are impeccable. We were even able to feed our baby some seafood and vegetables. The dessert is also very lovely - creme brûlée texture was completely perfect and delicious. Then owner’s mother and son were also there, also kind and helpful. If you want to feel like family and eat like family, come here!

29/07/2025: We dined at Grantosco on a warm July evening and were very pleased with the food and the service. Prices were slightly higher than average, but worth the experience.

30/07/2025: This is my first time ordering takeout from this place (so it could have been an isolated incident, but I don't think so). A terrible experience. I was half an hour late despite having a reservation, and they even charged me right after I arrived. After all this, the pizzas were raw. I understand the difficulty of managing so many people; mistakes can happen, but I've had very few experiences this bad.
