04/12/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance while walking around Palau. The place is very cute and welcoming. We had a seafood appetizer and a mixed roast. Everything was delicious and the portions were generous. The waiter was very kind, and at the end of the dinner they offered us a myrtle sorbet...which was also delicious. Highly recommended.

08/10/2025: Typical Italian restaurant, diverse offerings, everything delicious, including the desserts, generous portions, prices perfectly reasonable, reservation recommended as it only opens at 7 p.m. Visited twice during a week in Sardinia.

30/09/2025: We had pizza and pasta—unfortunately, the pasta was very bland, and the pizza was okay. The Vino de la Casa was not recommended. We wouldn't come back again.

11/11/2025: I'm reviewing the restaurant. Upon arrival, we saw a queue, which was a good omen. We were quickly seated for our four adults and a child. We had to wait a while for our pizza and calzone, but considering the restaurant was fully booked and the table turnover was high, it wasn't surprising. It was worth the wait; both the pizza and calzone were excellent, one of the best calzones I've ever tasted. For dessert, we ordered tiramisu and ice cream for my son; he loved it, and the waitress even gave him a cup with Buggs Bunny on it, which he was delighted with. The tiramisu was also first-rate.

22/10/2025: We only ate at the restaurant. The food was delicious and served quickly. The service was efficient.

12/01/2026: The food was average, but the worst part was the sand in the clams in the pasta dish I ordered. I was already full and didn't mention it (also because I don't like food being wasted).

12/01/2026: Trattoria Da Mirko is the kind of place where you feel right at home. Nothing stiff, nothing pretentious – just low-key conversations, the smell of slow cooking and a pace that follows the kitchen rather than the clock. It feels like a trattoria that has been there for a long time, and that knows exactly what it is. The food is rustic and full of soul. The pasta is perfectly al dente, the sauces deep and well-balanced, and each dish tastes as if it was cooked with patience rather than ambition. It’s not spectacular in a loud way – it’s just very, very good. You stay. Take your time. Let the conversation flow and your plate empty at its own pace. Trattoria Da Mirko is not just a restaurant – it’s a kitchen where tradition, warmth and simplicity meet, and where you’ll be happy to return without hesitation.

26/10/2025: Lovely place and great pizza! Child friendly, good choice and good prices. The serving staff were very friendly. The restaurant is closed during low season which runs from November until some time in March so worth checking if you are visiting over the colder months.

02/01/2026: Terrible experience, one of the worst restaurants I've tried in Alghero. The only really nice thing is the seaside location, which unfortunately turned out to be just a classic tourist trap. I had booked a specific table, but when we arrived, they completely misplaced the table, and when it came time to sit down, they assigned us another one that wasn't the one we'd agreed upon, without even a serious apology. The service was embarrassing: extremely slow, disorganized, and unnerving. We waited over an hour for our food. And we're not talking about an exceptional evening: the place is always busy, so they should be used to managing the flow, but nothing. Slowness seems par for the course. The food was the final blow. The fregola sarda was tough and clearly undercooked. The calamari was rubbery and lacked any seafood flavor. The shrimp pasta, which cost a whopping €20, was a very simple tomato pasta with ONLY ONE shrimp on top. Just one. Besides the ridiculous price, it was also completely tasteless. In short: exorbitant prices, poor quality, terrible service. You're only paying for the view, but nothing on the plate makes up for it. A truly negative experience; I absolutely do not recommend it. You can (and should) eat much better by the sea in Alghero.

27/12/2025: Visited yesterday with friends. Warm and welcoming atmosphere, good service, and very good food. Excellent cured meats, cheeses, and veal. Highly recommended.

19/10/2025: Welcoming, lively, modern place, with excellent staff, especially Mario's daughter, who is very cheerful and attentive to detail. We had a wonderful time at this beautiful restaurant, our first time there, and it certainly won't be our last. I highly recommend it ☺️

05/10/2025: The food was poor, the portions were small, and the service was pushy and downright unpleasant. I paid 32 euros for four shrimp—mediocre, according to the waitress. If they want to see a real seafood restaurant, they should come to Poland. I've never been to such a poor and dishonest restaurant in Italy. Not good for a restaurant in a seaside resort. I've been to many places, but here I felt like a cheated tourist.

19/12/2025: A pizzeria that never disappoints: pizzas made with fresh, quality ingredients, with a fragrant and flavorful dough. The atmosphere is welcoming and informal, ideal for both a family dinner and a meal with friends. The staff is friendly, helpful, and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. Definitely a place worth trying and returning to!

11/02/2026: Biblical times, good food but exorbitant prices, complete with a fake argument between the waitress and the chef, to make you accept the high bill, the waitress who boasted of having 40 years of experience, but we are not once and never again, try to grow and improve with your heart.

12/03/2026: Tasty, high-quality food, typical Sardinian but above all original in its combinations. The wait wasn't long at all; even though I went on a Saturday for dinner, I ate my order almost immediately. The prices are commensurate with the quality of the food and the service provided. The place is very welcoming, intimate, and warm, although a little difficult to find for non-locals...you have to park your car and walk part of the way (over cobblestones) because it's located in a narrow alley.

02/10/2025: Nice team, very small pasta portions; both different fish pastas were very bland and boring; the tiramisu was okay. The pizzas at the next table looked great...

25/09/2025: What a fantastic restaurant! We received excellent service from our waiter, Gennaro. As a starter, we had fish prepared in four different ways, followed by a main course of steak with pepper sauce and black pasta. Dessert, a delicious tiramisu, completed the meal. The wines were also very reasonably priced. In short, a wonderful evening in a charming location!
