The food was quite good. They could have removed the veins from the scampi, though. What left much to be desired, however, was the service: I don't mind being addressed informally from the start. That's common in Italy. But when the head waiter displays his disinterest through his demeanor, that's not the norm. It started with the order: while we were ordering, he leaned boredly against the wall behind him. Or, when we saw a 375ml bottle of Franciacorta Bellavista for €25.00 on the menu and wanted to order it as an aperitif, his response was curt, "We don't have any more." No alternative recommendation. Not even an attempt to sell us an aperitif. Or, when ordering our meals, my wife ordered a pizza. I then ordered an appetizer (pasta) for myself and didn't even get a chance to order my main course before the waiter was about to leave. He only reluctantly took our main course order after all. And that's despite the fact that the restaurant was fairly busy that evening, but far from full. It's a shame that such poor service put a damper on what was otherwise a lovely evening.

Good place. A restaurant I chose by default. But it was a pleasant surprise.

Given that we're on the Costa Smeralda, I'd like to understand the people who leave negative reviews for nothing. The prices are low, the atmosphere is great, but maybe there's a flaw in the service or the food... I'd like to understand what these people do. The place is top-notch.

Food is good and well priced. Restaurant was very busy which is not unexpected. I liked that there we many locals. Service could have been a bit faster but it was friendly.
