07/09/2025: We had fried calamari, grilled vegetables, and French fries. Everything was delicious, and the fried food was delicious. There are other places in the square that look more appealing, but this one is much better. I recommend it.

05/09/2025: A lovely restaurant on a large central square. We arrived at lunchtime and were immediately seated outside. They offered a lunch menu in addition to the regular menu. The staff was very friendly. The pasta with zucchini and stracciatella was truly delicious!

02/09/2025: Let me start by saying that the first night I ate very well. I had the pasta with red shrimp tartare and lime, it was delicious. On the second night I wanted the scampi cream and I gave it my all, but I have too high expectations for this dish and I fell for it head over heels. It wasn't even the same as the dish I had the day before, but if you don't try it, you'll never know. Excellent service. Fair prices.

06/09/2025: We started with appetizers, skate salad, and fish meatballs—a fantastic start. The dinner continued with exceptional spaghetti with clams and remarkable tagliatelle allo scoglio. Finally, the dinner concluded with an excellent mixed grill of seafood. All the dishes were plentiful and of excellent quality, and the staff were truly friendly, smiling, and helpful. Highly recommended.

23/08/2025: We stayed in Porto Pino for two weeks, and Bel Caffè became a regular stop! One of the few places where you're truly greeted with a smile at any time of day. The staff is friendly, organized, and super helpful! The croissants are truly delicious (we tried them all), not to mention the sandwiches and fried foods we tried for dinner! I absolutely recommend stopping by anyone passing through, whether for a delicious breakfast, dinner, or a cocktail!

19/08/2025: Having had excellent seadas the night before, and the girl who served us was very courteous and kind, we returned the next morning for breakfast: an absolutely terrible experience! The girl serving us was completely incompetent. She came out to take our orders without taking into account who had arrived first and who had arrived after us. When we pointed this out, the second order taken at the tables after us, the girl arrogantly and rudely deigned to look at us. Besides being rude to the people who help her earn a living, she also made the wrong order. When we pointed out the mistake, which can happen anyway, she didn't even apologize.

24/08/2025: The place is very nice and well-kept, with a lovely view, and the food was good. But first of all, the blackboard menu without prices is an unacceptable trick, and in fact, the bill arrived—a very high one. I pay to eat good food, and preferably food I wouldn't make at home, but unfortunately that didn't happen. I'd honestly grill a grilled meat platter with two pancetta steaks, a thin slice of beef, and two tiny sausages at home, and for those prices, I would have given up. I guessed the prices, of course, since they weren't there. I'm sorry, but I pay for the food in a restaurant, not for the experience. Otherwise, I'd go to a museum or take a trip. You feel like you're being mocked.

08/09/2025: We were there yesterday. We've been customers for several years now. Like every other time, we had a wonderful time. The food was of the highest quality, and the dishes surpassed our imagination. Not only culinary, they were true works of art. The service was excellent, impeccable, and very professional. We were greeted with warmth (as always). After a short wait, we were promptly received and served shortly thereafter. The wine cellar was well-stocked, and then it was time to leave, but we had the desire to return soon. I recommend anyone to spend an evening here. The place is accessible to everyone, and there's even a convenient wheelchair ramp.

06/09/2025: A very good restaurant that stands out from the usual, one-size-fits-all fare. We had, among other dishes, veal sweetbreads and super-delicious lamb chops. And everything was prepared with a personal touch. One star less for the ambiance, as we missed the traditional printed menu. Scrolling through your phone is a good fit for fast-food restaurants. But with this class of food, a nice menu to browse through is simply a must.

14/08/2025: Every course was a wow...actually, a whoop!! The favorite of all...the fregola (damn, the photo doesn't do it justice, so I won't upload it). An incredible explosion of flavors! All the freshest ingredients, flavors, and contrasts. The outdoor setting is pleasant, soft, well-lit, and furnished. Highly recommended. The only drawback (the reason for the missing star) is the time.... 10 minutes on the clock for someone to come and take your order, another 10 minutes (after requesting) for the bread (by the way....so good in its various shapes and flours!!!!!) and water. In short, after 1 hour and 15 minutes, only the fregola arrived. We booked at 9:30 PM (the place was full, and they deserved it), and left at 11:15 PM with 1 first course and 2 second courses. Too much, even though you should enjoy your vacation without rushing, you can't just feel the need to stretch your legs.

12/08/2025: Unfortunately, my experience at the restaurant wasn't a positive one. The atmosphere is very pleasant and well-maintained, but the service is practically non-existent. The waiters are curt and stern. I even asked for more wine to be added to my glass, and was very rudely told that was the amount for one glass. I would have appreciated it if they'd accommodated my request, or at most if they'd added a surcharge to the wine price! Plus, the wait for dishes was incredibly long... Regarding the quality of the food, there's nothing to complain about.

14/08/2025: We were pleasantly surprised by this Trattoria in Cagliari: without hesitation, one of the best Italian restaurants we have ever eaten at, and with exceptional value for money! We enjoyed mussels marinière in tomato sauce as well as squid ink tagliatelle and fresh fried calamari... a pure delight, perfectly cooked and delicious in every bite. The service was impeccable, warm and attentive, making our lunch even more enjoyable. A place to recommend with your eyes closed!

26/08/2025: We ordered two mixed fried dishes, one tuna steak, and one spaghetti with clams. After more than 40 minutes, the steak and one of the two fried dishes arrived. After 10 minutes, we asked why the other fried dish (which was supposed to be prepared at the same time) hadn't arrived. After further requests, the fried dish arrived, but still no pasta. We asked four more waiters, and, with dinner almost over, the pasta arrived (raw).

24/08/2025: An excellent dinner. We were satisfied with both the appetizers and the first courses. The pizza was also very good. The staff was friendly and fast. Even though it was busy, we had a very short wait on a Saturday evening in August. For dessert, I recommend the seadas, a typical dessert. The restaurant is large and has a spacious terrace. Highly recommended.

27/08/2025: A well-kept hotel with exceptional and helpful staff. The rooms are spotless, and not only that, the linens are changed every day. The bar and restaurant are top-notch, and you can tell you put your heart and soul into it.

27/08/2025: We stayed in this wonderful hotel the week after Ferragosto... What can I say? Everything was perfect!! Starting with the owners, who are disarmingly kind, and the same can be said of all the staff, who are efficient and beyond courteous. The rooms are comfortable and super clean, and the restaurant/pizzeria stands out for its excellent value. We highly recommend it!

06/09/2025: For years, my partner, my son, and I have been lovingly going to Al Vecchio Mulino, and we highly recommend it! The fried calamari is second to none, as are many other dishes, always fresh and flavorful. During high season (when we can go!), it's advisable to book because, given the exceptional quality, the restaurant is always deservedly packed! The prices are fair! It's located in the heart of Alghero's charming historic center, so parking isn't very close; you have to walk a short distance to get there. The staff is friendly and helpful! 05/09/2025: Impossible to book. I've made I don't know how many calls. It's already been my second week! It won't make a difference to you if you have one more or one fewer customer, I know, but I expressed my opinion; that alone shows the quality of the service offered.
