04/01/2025: Last lunch in Alghero before leaving... (already a little sad about this) What can I say: I enter and everyone is already friendly to me, nice, sweet, welcoming... at the table (I'm alone) I have a couple of women from Alghero next to me, already friends, phenomenal. Nice chats, about cooking children and healers. I am truly in love with this land ❤️. The dishes are excellent, I tasted the appetizers and red snapper with artichokes and bottarga. A wonder of the senses. The service is excellent. If you pass by here you can't jump... great energy!

15/12/2024: After a long time we finally managed to have dinner in this ittiturismo. Simple but very welcoming place, the waitress very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. What about dinner, everything was delicious and plentiful from the appetizers to the digestive. We will definitely return

15/12/2024: Our meals were delicious and the seafood very fresh. I particularly enjoyed the tuna carpaccio, artichokes and mushrooms. The entrance is discreet but once inside it is very comfortable. The staff were very professional and just the right balance of friendly and attentive. Martinelli’s was recommended to us by locals and I can understand why this is the restaurant they love to come back to ! It’s a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it!

05/11/2024: I had dinner here together with a colleague. We arrived a bit out of season in the beginning of October. My colleague was vegetarian and the staff were extremely helpful and very nice and engaged. The food was also nice and the desert was superb. We really enjoyed this restaurant and we really felt like valued customers.

29/09/2024: Fun and cool place. Live music (exceptional when Marco sings) extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. Excellent wines and more. Excellent and well prepared cuisine. Mrs. Laura is very nice and kind. We spent some excellent and unforgettable evenings. Highly recommended. I hope to be able to return another time. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart ❤

18/09/2024: We found ourselves in this place due to adverse weather conditions. We enter with the intention of having an aperitif (it was around 12.20) and then eating a little something for lunch afterwards. Desire that passes instantly! The girls on the staff are nice and kind, but the owner ruins the stay. Famous or not I don't care. Being in contact with the public also means knowing how to balance methods and timing. Continuing to say in front of customers that if they want to eat is ok, otherwise he won't take any more tables doesn't seem like the correct move to me, then let him do it. We are now in the low season and the place was not full, but rather it also had several empty tables. A little less…

04/10/2024: September 2024 - visited Marco & Caterina again this year. Unfortunately there is no pizza anymore - eating gluten-free is still possible. Overall, the trattoria has lost a lot of its charm compared to recent years - a shame. Today (September 30th, 2023) here for the second time - everything was great again. We had an excellent meal here today (September 29th, 2023) and it was gluten-free. The service is super friendly and everything works perfectly. We were here last year and loved it.

06/12/2024: A Caprese like I have rarely seen so cheaply. Tomatoes unripe tasteless. Then a bistecca which should be medium. It was probably more raw than anything else. The service was okay but overwhelmed and the prices are okay. But I never recommend this restaurant.

05/11/2024: A large selection of dishes, including, what is important for me, traditional local dishes. Tasty. Nicely served. Affordable prices. Very nice service. It's definitely worth coming and trying something.
