Antica Pensione Pinna In Castelsardo

Veniamo in questo ristorante e albergo da moltissimi anni e ci siamo sempre trovati divinamente, i proprietari sono persone eccezionali e la loro cucina lo è altrettanto. Questa sera in particolare abbiamo preso un antipasto di cruditè richiesto e composto da noi (personale esperto e super disponibile) di 5 ostriche, gamberi rossi e scampi, abbinati al tris di pesci marinari (spada, ricciola, tonno). Non ho mai mangiato crudi così buoni e di qualità. Come portata principale abbiamo preso la frittura di calamari e gamberi, ottima. Il tutto accompagnato da due calici di vino. Abbiamo poi concluso con la seadas e la crema catalana, entrambe squisite e un caffè. Per questa cena incredibile abbiamo speso 154€ (con in più uno sconto).

We came here for coffee at lunchtime and found the view and location so fantastic that we reserved a table for dinner three days later. At the same table. Everything worked out. Then the waitress came to us. Very personable, funny, and very warm. That completely convinced me and I felt like I was in great hands. But when we ordered, she said she could recommend something else. The catch of the day, everything fresh. I was wondering if the other one wasn't fresh (we wanted mixed grilled seafood and fish for 22 euros per person). Of course we were convinced and took what she recommended. Both. We got a platter with a very small fish, 4 shrimps, two giant prawns and a few pieces of tuna steak. (It's all cold, by the way) We were disappointed when we saw the portion because it was clear to us from the start that it was far too little for both of us. But when we paid we almost fell over. We paid almost 130 euros. For a non-satiating fish platter. General for all holidaymakers in Sardinia: never order the same thing for two people. They put everything on a small platter and sell it as two dishes even though it would actually be perfect for one person and this platter cost a whopping 45 euros per person... actually really unbelievable. And there is also the realization that unfortunately many people are not “just that” nice and warm... A pity... But the view... a dream.

Exceptional! Excellent quality products, impeccable service and incredible view of Castelsardo

Good fish and seafood restaurant with views of Castelsardo. We ordered lobster with spaghetti and it was phenomenal. For the main course, a mixed grill of fish and seafood that consisted of tuna, squid and prawns. The tuna left a little to be desired. The service is quite helpful. I recommend going to dinner here with and watching the sunset over the castle.

Food is 95%fish related and was greatly enjoyed by those who had it. I went for a local pasta dish followed by chicken fillet. Mine was good but was spoilt by 3 French girls, who decided to light up cigarettes and pollute the area. So if, like me as a non smoker, then it may be worth thinking twice before visiting or speaking to the owner about a non smoking area.

Great find when looking for a lunch spot in Castelsardo.Welcoming owners and lovely fresh fish and seafood topped off with a beautiful view… And we were able to park right across the road….Definately recommend a visit when in Castelsardo.

We had dinner in this fantastic restaurant in Castel Sardo, very fresh and excellent quality fish, very good fish soup, the restaurant's flagship, but recommended only to those who love bone fish and don't mind fighting with bones. of fish. The service is excellent but a special mention to the (I imagine) owner, Mr. Gianni, who is a true restaurateur and knows how to treat his guests very well, making them feel more at "home" than in a commercial business. The bill is perfectly in line with the quality, which is very high, and the quantity, which is very abundant. A mussel with pecorino cheese, two fish first courses, a land first course, fried calamari and prawns, a chicken cutlet (not frozen but homemade with chicken breast), a fried pattina, a fish soup (single dish where you can eat easily for 2), a bottle of wine and water, €160, for four, with digestive offered. We all came out packed, so much so that we couldn't even get dessert. I absolutely recommend going there even just for the wonderful view of the terrace.

Well located, staff very friendly, food delicious!!! Good value for money. We will come back for sure!

fried shrimp are not pleasant to eat with the shell but it is a tradition that is meant to be eaten like chips

We had dinner on the terrace of the restaurant. The food was very delicious and the value for money is very good. The staff is very helpful and pleasant. At the end they invited us to a typical shot. Something that I liked to see is that the owner had a couple of waiters in training and she was explaining and correcting them in a very good way. The feeling is that they take care of the staff. Recommended!
