28/09/2025: Super friendly and attentive service. Since we had just finished a small shopping trip and spontaneously decided to eat in this restaurant, they even gave us a bag for our groceries. Very tasty pasta with seafood, good house wine with water, and a dessert.

09/05/2026: The restaurant was practically empty. After we asked if there was a table available, the staff seemed rather disinterested and made us wait unnecessarily – presumably to appear cool. When ordering, I thought to myself: no pizza or pasta today, a hamburger it is. What was served was an absolute rip-off for €16. Considering that a portion of fries only costs €6 according to the menu, that leaves €10 worth of the "burger." For that price, however, I didn't get a proper burger, but merely a meat patty without sauce, without any sides – practically nothing. Apart from an unpleasant smell reminiscent of cat food, the meat didn't taste particularly good either. Overall, truly disappointing and of abysmal quality. The bill was simply slapped down at the end. Conclusion: A waste of money – better to eat somewhere else.

03/05/2026: GOD, EVERYTHING IS SO GOOD! THE PIZZA IS SO HUGE AND LOW, AND ABOVE ALL, IT'S GOOD LIKE FEW OTHERS!! I absolutely recommend it, they're also very kind!!

29/04/2026: We walked by this place by accident for lunch but truly a gem, eventually went back a few days later for dinner. Our favorite dining experience at Sardegna. Charming atmosphere, lovely garden wjth cute cats and delicious food. Also very friendly staff! Lovely place!

18/05/2026: Very disappointed! We opted for the tasting menu at €65 per person. The dishes were very small and tasteless (except for the cod fritters). Some were even inedible, like the tuna in soy sauce. A bottle of wine was ordered at a different price than what was listed on the menu. I had stomach pains during the night... It's a shame because the hotel itself was quite decent. We ended up paying over €186... really too expensive for what it was! We received a 10% discount because my card wasn't charged at the time of payment due to staff issues. The hotel called me countless times and treated me like I was dishonest... A truly terrible experience.

19/05/2026: The welcome and customer service were excellent. The quality of the ingredients used was excellent, and the chef showcased them with professionalism and attention to detail. Among the appetizers, the raw red shrimp was simply SPECTACULAR. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Alghero. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.... Next time, to try the meat-based dishes.

16/05/2026: Tucked away in a narrow alley in Alghero's historic center, it offers ample seating both inside and out. You'll be pleased with the food, location, and service. I recommend it to anyone visiting the town. They're the same owners as the gourmet restaurant MOS, also in Alghero, and another in Sassari.

29/04/2026: Top-notch service! With friendly and professional staff, it feels like home. From the raw appetizers to the hot dishes, everything is sublime, followed by a first course with sea urchins and a second course of roasted cuttlefish, and I must say, everything is delicious. We ended up there by chance and had a great experience with the kind and courteous owner and his wife! Great value, highly recommended for lovers of good food and authentic Sardinian seafood!

01/06/2026: Very bad experience, after poor service and 2 pizzas ( you can't really distinguish from the cheap frozen, stuff) my partner left her purse and and the cash was stolen. The restaurant was empty and we come back 15 minutes later. Shame. Our friend said: "Sardinians don't steal" Obviously they do.

02/05/2026: We had a wonderful evening here yesterday. The food is of a very high standard and tastes like authentic Sardinia! Highlights: The octopus salad (polpo) was fantastic, and the fregola (Sardinian pasta) was also delicious – truly excellent. Service: The service was extremely friendly and attentive. Even though their English wasn't perfect, they were very helpful, which made the evening very enjoyable. A small suggestion: The tuna steak was unfortunately sliced ​​very thinly and therefore cooked all the way through, which made it a little dry. Given the wonderful freshness of the tuna, I would have preferred it to be slightly more translucent, but that's of course a matter of personal taste. Overall, an excellent restaurant that we can definitely recommend!

The atmosphere was particularly lovely: the restaurant was mostly frequented by locals, which for us is always a sign of genuine quality. The team was consistently friendly and helpful. One of the waitresses spoke excellent English, making communication completely effortless. We felt welcome from the very beginning. The culinary experience was a real highlight. The octopus salad was outstanding. The (pickled?) potatoes deserve special mention, as they provided a fantastic contrast to the tender octopus. A truly exciting and successful combination! The fregola with clams was simply fantastic – the flavors were spot on. To top it all off, our server offered us a complimentary Mirto. This made the visit absolutely perfect. One small drawback: We unfortunately didn't have any small change for the well-deserved tip – we were very sorry about that, as the service definitely deserved it! His kindness, helpfulness, and ability to put guests at ease made all the difference. It's rare to find someone who does their job with such passion and courtesy. 31/05/2026: Beware, tourist trap! We had to wait 20 minutes without a reservation (which is fine, I suppose), only to be given a small table right next to the music speaker and a storage room. The only vegetarian option for my girlfriend was pasta with tomato sauce. I ordered seafood pasta. After what felt like forever, the food finally arrived. I also received pasta with tomato sauce, even though I had ordered something else! The food itself was okay – nothing special. The cover charge (coperto) was charged twice (€7). Then the bill came: €67 for two drinks and two tiny portions of pasta with tomato sauce!! A small portion of pasta with tomato sauce costs €20!! Outrageous! It wasn't even listed on the menu because we had to ask, as my girlfriend is vegetarian. They even weigh the bread with a precision scale so they can see if you've eaten even three crumbs. Then you have to pay accordingly. I would NEVER go there again. We then went back to the hotel hungry, having spent far too much money.

01/05/2026: Went here for our dinner, we did not stay in the hotel. The pasta and the Seasalad were really good! This is a good place to go for dinner with an awesome overlook of the town. The road to get there has a bumpy last 250 m of drive but worth it.

23/02/2026: I came here for a hot drink and quality pastries. The bar is welcoming and spacious, with plenty of seating both inside and outside. The staff is professional. I recommend this place! A positive experience!

18/11/2025: The informal place looks like a simple bar. But upon entering, you immediately notice the warm and friendly welcome. Luciana and Fabrizio are two people who are very attentive to service and customer needs. From breakfast to lunch and aperitifs, they are exceptional. The excellent cuisine is equal to, and sometimes superior to, a restaurant. Definitely worth a try. We have become regulars. Thanks to Fabrizio and Luciana.

14/05/2026: A pleasant discovery, from the dishes to the courtesy and professionalism of the staff. Furthermore, the atmosphere is truly pleasant; you can eat in complete relaxation without the worry of being unable to hear the person sitting next to you. My partner and I had two red tuna appetizers, delicious, especially the tartare, followed by two first courses, simply delicious. Finally, a fresh and pleasant herb sorbet. Given the high quality of the ingredients and the cuisine, the quality/price ratio is absolutely reasonable. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in Gonnosfanadiga or the surrounding area!

28/04/2026: A huge shout-out to Ulivo and its owner, Carla, whose meticulous attention to detail makes everything so special. At Ulivo, you can choose to stay in the cozy rooms and enjoy a delicious breakfast in the morning, without missing out on the delicious dinner prepared with local ingredients. I was fortunate enough to stay here at the end of a stage of the Santa Barbara mining trail, arriving from Arbus. I recommend it to hikers and even those simply exploring the surrounding area. :) Even if you're not walking the trail, if you're passing by, take a stroll through the fairytale forest adjacent to the village.
