01/04/2026: An amazing experience! I went here with my girlfriend and we had the mix tasting menu with wine pairing. The food was incredible, the hero of the night was the tortellini which was an explosion of tastes! Our favorite wine was probably the rose which was very special in taste and perfect with the serving. The service was very good and attentive to all our needs, I’m very ashamed that I forgot the names of the staff but they were both kind and professional! Props to them! I strongly recommend everyone going here if you want a delicious and unique dinner with a loved one in the beautiful city of Florence.

18/04/2026: We've been traveling through Italy since January and have eaten at numerous restaurants. Last night, we experienced the absolute pinnacle of culinary delight at this restaurant. The tuna tataki was simply perfect. Add to that the friendliness of the staff, who always kept a watchful eye on the guests and spoke fluent English. One employee speaks eight different languages, so communication with most guests is certainly possible. Anyone who appreciates excellent ingredients and a truly wonderful experience in a small Italian restaurant should definitely pay this one a visit.

18/04/2026: We popped in for drinks and a snack, we were so impressed with the meals being served to other people and the friendly and professional staff that we came back the next night. The food was a very pleasant surprise, I had the Tuna Tataki , which was in my eyes done too perfection. Should we be in Tropea again then this will be our first choice.

18/03/2026: I've been wanting to try Cantina Simonetti for a while, and I must say my expectations were more than met. The restaurant is located in the heart of Frascati, overlooking a truly charming little square that I imagine becomes even more pleasant in the warmer months thanks to the outdoor seating. For now, I've been able to enjoy the interior: a cozy, warm, and welcoming room that immediately makes you feel at ease. We chose several off-menu dishes, and every dish was a confirmation: Ascolana olives stuffed with porchetta, Jewish-style artichokes, mezze maniche with oxtail sauce, and pannicolo with endive and carrot cream. Everything was extremely tasty and carefully prepared. A special mention goes to the oxtail sauce, truly exceptional, rich and enveloping, and to the pannicolo, cooked to perfection and served with its own juices: tender, flavorful, and executed with great technique. To accompany everything, two excellent red wines selected from a well-stocked cellar, further enhancing the experience. We finished on a high note with a delicious zabaglione and complimentary donuts, a gesture always greatly appreciated. Impeccable service: attentive, friendly, and never intrusive. A place definitely worth a visit... and one I'll gladly return to, perhaps to enjoy the summer version as well.

The ambiance is meticulously crafted, elegant yet not overly formal, with a welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The real strength is the owner, Sigismondo: attentive, present, and passionate, which is clearly evident in his service and in his choice of ingredients. You can tell there's research and care behind every dish. The quality of the food is excellent: fresh ingredients, carefully selected and showcased with simplicity and flavor. The dishes are balanced, never banal, and you can sense great attention to detail. The service is precise but never intrusive, with timely timing and great availability. An ideal place for a quiet dinner, where quality and passion truly make the difference. Highly recommended.

14/03/2026: A unique experience. Intimate and quaint location. Impeccable service, everyone kind, professional, and super attentive to customer service. As for the food, it's indescribable. It's a combination of tastes and flavors that make everything magical, absolutely worth trying. My sincere compliments to the chef. Excellent value for money. Price may vary depending on the type of evening. I highly recommend it; it's a great place to spend a magical evening with your partner or good friends.

19/04/2026: I can't believe they charged me 4 euros more for a frozen pizza base... and they didn't even have 2 chips for the appetizer... the kind waiter made 2 bruschettas but didn't know I couldn't eat them... all in all, the ingredients were good... but you can't charge me 18 euros for a pizza... there are SG pizza bases that are like gluten-free ones... just ask... If only all restaurateurs learned to keep gluten-free dishes in their pantry... but I know money always comes first... I brought 4 people who wouldn't have come without me... and I was the one who was treated the worst... anyway, thank you... most restaurants are like this because they don't want to train their staff... I hope you never become celiac

15/04/2026: By far the best pizza in 20 years of coming to Italy. 25yr old sourdough starter, organic flour and freshly cooked ingredients. This is in a different league to the usual pizzas especially in central Florence. Owners were super friendly.

02/04/2026: Nice to sit outside by the water, had the seafood pasta which was so so- pasta texture was great but the seafood itself was not the best and the pasta lacked flavour. The lugana wine suggestion was good, and did pair very well with the dish so would recommend that!

04/04/2026: I went there to try one of their pizzas. The toppings are high quality, but the quantity didn't seem sufficient to give it 5 stars: there's a lot of dough. While it's certainly good and the wood-fired oven is well-executed, I would have liked to see more toppings. The tiramisu, however, is homemade and of good quality.

17/04/2026: It's so delicious that we visited Oscar twice during our stay in Livorno! The dishes impress with their combination of ingredients and impeccable freshness. Everything is refined, modern, and truly delicious! The tuna tataki on a bed of tender onions was especially memorable – a true gastronomic delight. The superb quality of the dishes, the extensive wine selection, and the truly welcoming service make this place a must-visit.

07/04/2026: La Chiusa was an amazing place for vacation. Extremely relaxing, and the service was great. The staff worked with me leading up to the trip to plan a great itinerary. I highly recommend the ATV tour and the cooking class. The views are gorgeous.

12/01/2026: We had an amazing time at La Chuisa, being very new to Italy, the staff were very helpful, especially Andrea who went above and beyond to look after us. The views and location amazing! Close to the little village of Montefellonico. The cooking class with Nonna was so memorable! Our only issues was when we called the hotel for assistance and couldn’t get a hold of them a couple of times, Also no tea and coffee in the room.
