Nice to sit outside by the water, had the seafood pasta which was so so- pasta texture was great but the seafood itself was not the best and the pasta lacked flavour. The lugana wine suggestion was good, and did pair very well with the dish so would recommend that!

The food and drinks are good. We tried the cicchetti, and the creamed cod one was the absolute best. A lovely little place with an outdoor seating area.

The staff were friendly and quick. The lunchtime barista was very polite and friendly. The spritz was a little small but very good. As for the food, the crostini with cod and sopressa were very good, as were the meatballs.
Have a nice weekend 💛

The best risotto I've ever had. Excellent food. We had octopus salad, spaghetti Bolognese, and seafood risotto. Everything was excellent.

A small restaurant somewhat off the beaten tourist track. A good mix of tourists and Italians. Delicious fritto misto, bigoli, and dessert. The pistachio-crusted tuna was to die for. Prosecco DOCG for €22. Overall, a fantastic evening. I'd go back anytime!

We ate here on our first day in Venice, and we sure put the bar high for the following day! Al Mariner was recommended to us by the host of the apartment we were staying in, and it was great.
We ordered the pasta al nero di seppia and the pasta of the day, which we had seen other guests eat while entered and looked really good. It was, but the former was even better.
The waitress was really nice and very thoughtful of my kid's allergies. The menu specifies the allergens so we were hesitant about the bolognese pasta, but she told us it the sauce had no issues and offered to add it to rice instead, which we agreed to. He had a veal steak afterwards which was really tasty.
We also ordered the mixed fired fish. Excellent as well, but it ended up being too much food, as the platter is quite big and the waitress advised ahainst my kid trying them, as the oil may have been used to fry something that could trigger his allergies.
We still left some space for a Tiramisu, the first we had in Venice and the absolute winner in the hard-fought contest of tiramisus held during our stay.
All in all, an amazing experience with great food and service. A place not to miss if you are in the Canareggio area for lunch.

We came in quite late after seeing the cozy atmosphere of this restaurant on our evening stroll. We enjoyed our first Venetian sprits here with a delicious tuna covered by pistachio crust. While the tuna was cooked to perfection, the pistachio didn’t really add a lot unfortunately. The decor is very romantic with the red bricks and the black and white pictures. The service is fast and the food is good. Everything is nice and up to standard. Pricing was a bit on the more expensive side but they were transparent about it from the start and you can see everything from the menu outside. The complementary bread with olive oil was nice too. Overall, if you have great budget, want to enjoy good food, good environment, good service, we’d recommend this restaurant. Keep in mind that every dine in restaurants in Venice would charge 2e per person for dining in.
