10/06/2025: A small family run restaurant with a few outdoor tables We found this on google reviews. It is middle of a street with lots of restaurants. We had a shared appetizer and then had fish and prawns for main course. , I used google translate as I wanted a blush glass of wine, the waitress recommended a perfect bottle. The restaurant was full inside and out. Mainly seafood, and pasta dishes, Highly recommended

12/06/2025: Totally by chance we ended up at this restaurant for lunch this afternoon. It was very quiet, the gentleman was sitting outside on his terrace and looked around. When he noticed us he came to us, the calm and friendliness itself, with advice, clear explanation and attention for us. We had a fantastic lunch, the waitress and the lady herself were also very hospitable and had an eye for us as guests. The portions were large, we were given the leftovers carefully packed to take home. And that in a tourist town, you don't expect it (anymore). A unique meeting and experience that we will always remember with emotion and much pleasure. Thank you dear people of Portolano!!!

22/05/2025: This is the second time I stay in this wonderful Hotel Restaurant for work, and obviously the second time I dine in this welcoming and fantastic Restaurant inside. The cuisine is amazing, the ingredients are not only fresh but also carefully and attentively combined; I rarely find Restaurants that leave me satisfied with each course and curious for the next, thank you very much, I will recommend you to everyone I meet and who asks me where to stay and eat well, in the province of Trento

21/06/2025: This restaurant is all about how things look and that’s about it. The restaurant itself is lovely and the chef plates food beautifully. However, I would not go back or recommend it to anyone. The service was severely lacking and so was the food. We waited an hour to be seated, greeted by our waiter and to finally have olive oil and bread on the table. Thankfully the thoughtful hostess helped us order some drinks before we sat down. Our waiter was kind of arrogant and rarely came to check on us to see how the food was or whether we needed anything. At the very end of the meal after waiting a long time for our check, he decided to give us a free digestive; which was nice, but it didn’t make up for 2 1/2 hours of bad service. Foodwise, we ordered the waygu carpaccio and grilled octopus for appetizer. The grilled octopus itself was good, but it had a creamy potato sauce that was very bland and required a lot of salt and pepper to be decent. The waygu carpaccio was mushy and tasteless so we couldn’t finish it. I ordered the boiled lobster, which was served cold with cold, non-flavorful veggies. It was a small spiny lobster (no claws) and I should have asked the market price up front because it was $115. My daughter had the gnocchi chjusoni galluresi, which was okay but it was a small serving with very little meat in it. My son had the beef filet, which was tasty and cooked perfectly- the clear winner out of all our dishes. There are many great restaurants in the area, so there is no need to break the bank for a mediocre meal.

Elegant venue with a splendid terrace, very good menu with Piedmontese dishes revisited correctly and pleasant variations. 10/06/2025: We walked in without a reservation and were fortunate to be seated inside, though we were told we had to order at least two dishes per person, which felt a bit forced. The antipasti was enjoyable and the wine selection was lovely, but unfortunately, the rest of the meal was disappointing. My wife’s calamari hadn’t been cleaned properly and was gritty with sand, which made it hard to enjoy. I ordered the pork, which ended up upsetting my stomach badly enough (food poisoning) that we had to cancel all of our planned wine tours for the rest of the afternoon. All in all, while there were some positives, the experience left us more frustrated than satisfied.

In più ha anche il grande vantaggio di offrire una buona scelta di piatti senza glutine. Mai un problema in tal senso. Personale molto gentile e attento. Non vediamo l'ora di tornarci....da Milano.

06/04/2025: An evening of romance and good food. Last night my husband gave me a surprise: very perfect!!! The San Pietro restaurant in the pedestrian area of ​​Limone has always been a must for those who want to dine (or have lunch) in a restaurant with an elegant and old-fashioned setting. The tables, rigorously round, are arranged in such a way as to guarantee the privacy of the guests. In the center you can admire a large wooden table on which stands, among other things, an exceptional display of cheeses. We were sitting next to the fireplace. Truly superb menu. I have celiac disease and a lot of attention was paid to me: fassona meat marinated with herbs, crumbled egg yolk and sweet and sour onion. The meat is very tender, tasty and not at all salty. My husband enjoyed a very soft lamb paté (at room temperature and not frozen as often happens) with brioche bread and caramelized onions. Applause-worthy first courses: for me risotto with sausage, Barolo and goat's blue cheese. Perfect cooking and delicate flavor despite the tasty ingredients. For my husband, an extraordinary tagliatelle filled with wild boar stew: a unique flavour, unparalleled softness and, to conclude, the owner of the restaurant delighted us - in every sense - with a soft zabaglione expertly prepared in front of us! Truly a huge round of applause to the chef and his team for giving us a wonderful evening! See you soon
