Cala Gavitella Beach Club In Praiano

An Oasis on the sea with a spectacular view of Positano excellent food clearly all the seafood specialties from spaghetti to vongole alla pozzogna etc. attentive and kind staff can be reached by sea by boat

Lunch break when we spent the day at the little beach of Praiano. Place is beautifully decorated with amazing view and excellent ambiance. Even at casual lunch felt like a special treat. Pasta was very good. Salads and grilled vegetables were ok.

A small beach club with an attached restaurant. From both you have a wonderful view of Positano. You can get to the beach club either by shuttle boat or via the stairs from Praiano (assuming you are in good physical shape). Access to the water is not that nice and is certainly a bit difficult for older people. Positive: there is your own freshwater shower. Admission in the low season (during the week) for two loungers and an umbrella: €70. You will also receive a €30 consumption voucher for the restaurant.

Great experience at La Gavitella. Aldo and Giovanni were great. Drinks (lemon spritz) and food (lemon fusilli + zucchini spaghetti) were 10/10. Great place to relax while enjoying the sun and water. Recommend bringing water shoes as the beach is rocky

Sono stato più volte in spiaggia , posto incantevole … un plauso particolare alla accoglienza ed al servizio dei bravissimi Aldo e Giacomo molto professionali!!!

We didn’t get any food but it looked great. The staff was amazing and they put on a big show cutting up a watermelon. There are two entry ways to the water and they are both beautiful. The prices are high but that’s expected for a location like this. My wife and I had an absolute blast!

Fantastico locale, con vista mozzafiato sulla baia di Positano. Il meraviglioso panorama che si gode dalla terrazza del ristorante basterebbe da solo a convincere anche il visitatore più scettico. Ma la vera forza di questo locale è la sua straordinaria cucina, capitanata dal giovane e brillante Chef Giovanni, che delizia tutti i clienti con piatti semplici, ma mai banali. Vengono esaltati tutti i sapori , specialmente quelli del mare, attraverso il pescato fresco di giornata. Prodotti di altissima qualità, e di assoluta freschezza. Menzione speciale per i giovani titolari che accolgono tutti con simpatia, sorriso e professionalità. La Gavitella è una perla incastonata nella meravigliosa costiera amalfitana. Semplicemente fantastica. Provare per credere!

Ranta-alue on varsin pieni ja osaan tuoleista aurinko alkaa paistamaan vasta klo 13. Myös vessatilat olivat keskivertoa heikommat. Toisaalta maisemat Positanon suuntaan ovat hienot ja selkeällä säällä auringonlasku on varmasti hieno. Testasimme myös ravintolan ja pasta-annokset olivat keskiverto+. Erityistä kiitosta siitä, että listalta löytyi annoksia vegaaneille! 👏 Paikalle pääsy on kohtuu monen ”portaan takana” ja käy melkein urheilusuorituksesta - niinkuin monella rannalla Amalfilla…
