04/04/2026: We had lunch for two without a reservation, and they had availability! The dining room was beautiful, and we had raw fish. The octopus was my favorite. The scallops, unfortunately, were a bit sandy! Highly recommended!

24/03/2026: Trattoria da Balan is a restaurant that leans toward the elegant, yet where you can enjoy a relaxed lunch or dinner. Perfect for a business lunch, whether you need to chat or it's a proper business breakfast. The traditional dishes are excellent; I tried the gnocchetti with a delicious duck ragù sauce. In short, a place that feels more like a high-end restaurant than a traditional trattoria.

30/01/2026: This is a truly charming hotel set in the heart of the renowned Gavi wine region. Perched on a hilltop, the former noble villa has been beautifully transformed into a unique and elegant hotel. Surrounded by a beautiful park with a fountain, outdoor swimming pool, and rolling vineyards, the setting feels both peaceful and timeless. I have stayed at Relais Villa Pomela several times, in both summer and winter, and it never fails to impress. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with genuinely friendly and attentive service that makes every stay feel special. The hotel’s restaurant serves excellent Italian cuisine, refined yet authentic, and sure to satisfy even the most discerning palates. Another great advantage is the proximity to the Serravalle Designer Outlet, just a five-minute drive away. For guests who prefer not to deal with parking, the hotel conveniently offers a shuttle service to and from the outlet. I can highly recommend this hotel and very much look forward to returning again.

22/03/2026: A lovely restaurant/agriturismo very close to Ferrara's Jewish cemetery and just steps from the historic center! The setting is surrounded by a beautiful, large green area. The food is typically Ferrarese and of good quality! I highly recommend it if you're looking for a cozy evening or a pleasant evening with friends!

01/03/2026: Fantastic restaurant for Ferrarese dishes! The restaurant is beautifully located within the city walls, where cultivated fields still stand. When you step outside, you find yourself in the heart of the historic center. It takes advantage of the renovated stables, with a modern style. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The food service is beautifully decorated; I really enjoyed it. The wine menu complements the dishes and offers regional wines. They offer cappelletti and capellaci, purée and salami for sauce, and zuppa inglese. Fantastic!

11/12/2025: Best pizza ever! I went back in September and completely forgot to write a review, probably because the pizza knocked all the thoughts out of my head 😅. Staff were lovely and the pizza was ridiculously good. Go. Just go.

09/10/2025: Unfortunately, we didn't like it. The pizza had poor toppings. The mussels were probably bad. We got stomach problems afterward. :/

20/04/2026: The ambiance was perfect, elegant and intimate. The food was excellent, with each dish presented with care and attention to detail. A truly beautiful place... it deserves a star!! Excellent and highly recommended!

14/04/2026: I ate very, very well. Dishes inspired by traditional local cuisine, well thought out and impeccably prepared, with pleasant new twists. The wine selection is also very good, all well-chosen. The spaces are well-maintained and tastefully furnished, especially the bright veranda, where the warmth of wood dominates. There is parking, but it's decidedly inadequate. The prices aren't cheap; a first and second course with wine easily exceeds €50-55 per person.

07/04/2026: Very good food, but they're prejudiced against Italians. Dario is very kind!!! I'd like to add something that seems relevant to me. When booking, I asked for the best available table for an important occasion. I was told that they'll assign you a table upon arrival, and I rightfully accepted this as policy. Upon arrival, I was told there's a minimum spending limit on the terrace, which isn't a problem for me. When I told them I'd spend it, they told me it's hot and we can't stay there because they don't have a roof on the terrace. We ate with a wonderful view, but I asked to have dessert on the terrace, and they granted it. While we were on the terrace, the Americans magically arrived, and they ate lunch on the terrace. I hate double standards. Losing yourself for so little is something that shouldn't happen in a place of this caliber. I hope the owners read this and take action. The tables they reserve weren't used until 3:25 PM, which is when I'm writing this review, and I'm sorry about that. I wanted to go further, but I'm sorry what I experienced at dessert shouldn't be repeated. I wish you all the best in your guest service. You're already very good at cooking.

18/01/2026: If you want to experience Cisternino's true gastronomic experience, a stop at Zio Pietro is a must. Here, you don't consult a paper menu; you "read" it with your eyes, right at the butcher's counter. ​The Experience: The ritual is fascinating: as soon as you enter, you line up in front of the meat counter. The selection is vast and of the highest quality. It's impossible not to order the famous bombette (cheese-filled capocollo rolls, available in several variations), the livers (gnumeredd), and the knife-point sausage. Once you've chosen your meat, it's weighed and sent directly to the "fornello" (the traditional Apulian vertical oven) for slow, even cooking. ​The Food: The meat is simply exceptional: tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, with that subtle hint of embers that only a traditional stove can provide. The traditional side dishes are also excellent; I loved the pickled vegetables. ​The Atmosphere: The atmosphere is rustic, welcoming, and authentic. You can feel the atmosphere of old-fashioned shops. The staff is quick and friendly, despite the constant crowds (a clear sign that this place deserves it).

17/01/2026: If you wish to experience freshly prepared, and perfectly grilled meat of Puglia, arm your self with the patient. First you will need to q to select the meat from the butchers fresh counter, afterwards it's the table waiting, and at the end food preparation time. However, it is absolutely worth, because that was the most tender and juicest grilled meat I have tasted.

04/04/2026: ****IF YOU WANT TO MAKE BEAUTIFUL ITALIA TRIP, RUNAWAY FROM THIS TOURIST TRAP RIGHT NOW**** If you decide to eat here, make sure to take a picture of your food and receipt. If you leave a bad review, the boss will say, 'You've never been here.' Most of the reviews in this restaurant are false reviews with fake accounts. Take a look. My wife and I had dinner here in May 2023. That night was terrible. This is due to several reasons below. 1. There was a lipstick stain on the cup we received. 2. We ordered a salad, but the fries came out. After all the menus were served, when the salad did not come out, we asked the employee, who said that fries were served instead of salad. So I asked him to take the fries back, but the employee told me to just eat it. 3. We didn't eat French fries because we didn't order them. But when we paid, the employee asked us if we would even pay for the fries.We refused to pay for the fries, and the employee's attitude got cold. 4.I left a review of this employee's attitude with 3 stars, but the owner of this restaurant left me bad words and insulting comments. I have lived in Thailand, Korea, China, Taiwan, Japan, the United States, and Mexico. However, I have never received such bad service before. Shouldn't restaurants in Europe, even Rome, of course offer better service than restaurants in these countries? I don't want anyone to have a bad experience in this restaurant anymore. Please enjoy italia trip in OTHER restaurant. Thank you.

26/01/2026: Here they serve the best and tastiest spaghetti ever: No. 36 Spaghetti all'Amatrician. The service is very friendly and unpretentious, and the waiter is unforgettable. We had lots of laughs with him. This restaurant is inexpensive, and the food is delicious. We received more than we ordered, which was very kind. The rice croquettes with mozzarella are the best anywhere: Suppli No. 17. We ate there three times during our stay in Rome. Highly recommended.

23/03/2026: At the end of March, Bardolino wasn't very busy, but Casanova was almost empty. Nevertheless, we took a seat and were warmly welcomed with an aperitif and a complimentary amuse-bouche. The pizzas we ordered were also delicious, and like all the drinks, they offered good value for money. We'd gladly come back.

15/01/2026: We got married at Tenuta Lucagiovanni in the summer of 2022, and everything was so perfect that my first thought was, "I can't wait to go back." One of my bridesmaids, who lives in Switzerland, was so impressed that she's getting married there this year, too. And we were finally able to return on December 28, 2025, to celebrate our daughter's baptism. The level of professionalism and attention to detail is hard to find. So many options to choose from, both in terms of menus and decorations. Unparalleled. Super attentive.
