27/04/2025: Recommended by friends, we finally managed to try it and I must say that in Avola it is among the best. Very pleasant place, well furnished, with a relaxing atmosphere. We chose the fish menu and were satisfied with the quality and quantity. The staff is present, numerous and ready. Prices are not prohibitive. We will be back!

08/04/2025: Small place (it is advisable to book). The staff is competent and very kind. The fish is fresh and good (we took the hot potato & octopus appetizer and the fried fish, not at all greasy. To conclude with trifle.) Much appreciated is the fact that, at the end of the meal, they offer two types of local digestive with a small square of cake. I thought the prices were a bit high for a tavern (also because the portions are not large). 🐶💕 allowed

No less the service and kindness of the staff, average quality/price ratio considering what is proposed, recommended.

11/03/2025: We took a land-sea starter, nice, good... the first was the "ficarigna" specialty, pasta creamed in the form of parmesan... more scene than anything else... the pasta was good, you can see it's made by them, but overall very heavy, a welcoming and well-kept place, fast and kind service.

Still excellent quality/price ratio, professional and competent staff, highly respectable location (Specchia is one of the most beautiful municipalities in the Province of Lecce) and in general a warm welcoming atmosphere... They were always attentive without being intrusive. The flavors of each dish were perfectly balanced and the ingredients incredibly fresh. Excellent value for money! The portions were just right and the taste was great." I highly recommend it. The owner Salvatore is always kind and attentive to your every request.

25/04/2025: Siamo stati a cena in questo ristorante e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Il ristorante è elegante e accogliente. Abbiamo assaggiato due antipasti (il vitello tonnato e lo sformato al Castelmagno, entrambi consigliatissimi), un primo piatto (plin e tajarin) e come dolce il cremino di panna cotta. Era tutto buonissimo. Le porzioni sono giuste, senza esagerazioni. In totale abbiamo pagato, comprese le bevande, 101€. Siamo stati molto soddisfatti del rapporto qualità - prezzo, nonché dello staff molto professionale e cordiale. Se dovessimo tornare a Torino, ci ritorneremo sicuramente. Da provare.

09/04/2025: Lekker eten, vriendelijk personeel en goede service. Wij hebben tijdens ons verblijf in Rome gedurende meerdere dagen zowel voor lunch als voor diner in il nuovo faro gegeten. Hun lasagna, fettuccine ai funghi porcini en hun pizza 'Del Faro' zijn noemenswaardig. Voor een restaurant dat zo dicht bij de Trevifontein ligt, zijn de prijzen zeer schappelijk. Wij hebben van iedere maaltijd in il nuovo faro genoten.

We had lunch here with our almost two-year-old daughter and in addition to the high chair and an ad hoc menu for children, we found a lot of attention paid to the youngest customers.
