01/04/2025: Simple menu, yet so much satisfying! We chose this restaurant based on very good reviews. Already half an hour before opening time there was a line of people waiting for their table. The place is very cosy, just a few tables (waiting in the line makes sense I guess), decorated by owner’s valuables including family pictures. I loved the atmosphere. As appetiser we ordered acciughe (anchovy) platter. Man, that was a lot of acciughe! But all were very nice, prepared in different flavours and techniques and with a bowl of mussels. For mains we chose 2 types of pasta - ravioli and testaroli. Testaroli come from ancient times and look like sponge squares, which is not a very appetising appearance. It tastes better than it looks - happy I have tried it, but nothing I would be craving for in the future. Our secondo piatto was the octopus - very tender and just delicious! We skipped the dessert and had a coffee with digestivo - homemade herbal liquor. Would come back any time!

27/01/2025: It was a small restaurant where you need to share table with other people since there are no space. Luckily we waited at 9pm but still there’s still alot of people at that time. We ordered seafood and lamb. It was pricey for the seafood which is only small pieces. But the lamb was good.

16/04/2025: More than one friend suggested me this place which I visited expecting a decent meal. The staff is cordial, however be ready to long waiting time to get a table and being served ( I have to admit that I haven’t reserved in advance but well it’s a Wednesday). Both pasta we ordered were not cooked enough and one of the two (cacio e pepe) was extremely salty. I am from Cassino, I support local businesses but I must have come on the wrong day. I ll be happy to give one more chance to raise the score of this review!

28/03/2025: Cosy restaurant. Great food. Pasta el dente. Ate here for dinner and then lunch the next day. Service is attentive and efficient.

23/04/2025: We stopped in the evening for a pizza and it wasn't the best. Good dough but without salt and flavorless seasonings. But when you're hungry you eat anything.

22/04/2025: We were advised by our local host to visit this restaurant. It is more local that tourist oriented and this is indeed a great advantage. Authentic dishes and atmosphere with very reasonable prices. We visited twice. Every thing was delicious. The combination of starters, pastas, pizza and beef steak as well as desserts. Very much recommended.

05/04/2025: 5 star review for the Il Calesse restaurant in Quercianella: I had the pleasure of dining at Il Calesse restaurant with an old friend and I must say it was an unforgettable experience! The quality of the food was excellent, starting from the raw dish, which was incredibly plentiful and very fresh, with flavors that blended perfectly. The lobster tagliolini were simply fabulous: a dish that exceeded my expectations, with perfectly cooked pasta and a rich, tasty sauce. To accompany everything, we chose the house sparkling wine, which proved to be a perfect match with our dishes, enhancing the flavors in a sublime way. To end the evening, we opted for a punch which added a touch of sweetness and originality to our meal. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere of the place very welcoming. I highly recommend Il Calesse to anyone who wants to enjoy delicious dishes in a relaxing environment. I can't wait to go back!

30/03/2025: This is destined to become a place of the heart and I want to say it because I am very selective with my heart. Discovered by chance. Wonderful, very fresh fish cooked without tricks, smell of the sea, unique aroma, perfect service, "homely" but real welcome, smiles, positive energy. World-class sorbet for an encore, so it was and wonderful, very light frying for an encore. Go there! It's worth it! See you soon!

28/04/2025: Amazing culinary experience. Slightly different, non-traditional cuisine. Portions were entirely adequate for us. Beautifully presented, with lots of little extra touches and flourishes. This is not a "typical" Italian restaurant, though - go elsewhere if you crave pizza!

23/11/2024: I recently had the fortune of stopping to eat at the osteria il Gallo nel pozzo, in the central square of the small and characteristic village of Panicale. I never expected to eat so well: welcomed with a tasting of heavenly local new extra virgin olive oil with a selection of homemade breads and other excellent appetizers, followed by fusilloni made with fresh pasta of the day with extraordinary Cinta Senese ragù. My mistake, I only drank water and coffee in the end without taking the wine, who knows what other delight I missed. Also the impeccable service, with all courses served on refined and elegant majolica and the owner discreet but always present when needed. My most sincere compliments, I hope to be able to return soon even if unfortunately I live very far away

06/04/2025: Siamo stati di sabato sera a cena. Locale tipico di Pesaro. Nonostante il locale era pieno, il personale ha subito provveduto a trovare una sistemazione ottimale anche per noi e il nostro amico a quattro zampe, abituato a stare con noi fuori a cena, infatti si è sistemato sotto al nostro tavolo e nessuno si è accorto della sua presenza(i commensali si sono accorti di lui solo al passaggio per uscire). Personale molto professionale, sorridente e disponibile. Pizza a dir poco ottima, enorme, ben condita...direi eccellente. Maionese fatta in casa ottima! Anche il prezzo è ottimo, considerando che si sentiva e vedeva la qualità degli ingredienti, mi sarei aspettata prezzi più alti. Complimenti davvero!! Consigliatissimo !! Torneremo sicuramente!!

14/04/2025: Da salernitano ho trovato la mia Salerno qui a Milano, ristorante fantastico in tutto, servizio, cibo, ambiente. Posizione molto strategica tra Stazione Centrale e Corso Buenos Aires. Super consigliato

03/03/2025: Sono ormai un cliente fisso della locanda, trovo questo ristorante il migliore della zona. Ho avuto occasione di tornarci in occasione delle feste Natalizie ed è stato tutto perfetto. I titolari sono davvero persone uniche ,Arianna in sala è estremamente professionale, accogliente e delicata, Nicola in cucina ci delizia con i suoi piatti ed è sempre un piacere sentirlo parlare con la sua passione e dedizione. Anche i ragazzi che lavorano al loro fianco sono sorridenti, si respira un atmosfera davvero magica . Insomma la locanda è casa.

26/04/2025: Accolti da Luis con grande simpatia, abbiamo pranzato all’esterno nonostante fossimo attirati dall’arredamento interno molto curato e d’effetto. Gli antipasti buonissimi e realizzati con grande maestria. La carne tenerissima, cottura perfetta e molto molto buona. Materie prime di ottima qualità e conto finale adeguato all’offerta. Insomma consigliatissimo

07/04/2025: Excellent taste experience, exceptional combinations of raw materials and flavours. The environment is too full of goods for sale, at times it feels like being in a market, there is no wine list even if excellent wines are offered but you can't choose to suit your taste.

07/04/2025: Nice typical Tuscan restaurant, with too many products on display for sale, it feels like being in a grocery store. The refined and quality dishes well plated, the choice of starters is good, the fresh dessert has an original flavor and the wine is excellent. The cook was very nice and competent in cooking. I recommend it... .it's not cheap.
