I was hoping for a local spot with reasonable prices but €4.75 for one SMALL Prosecco was a bit disappointing. The place was nice enough but at that price.....go sit on the canal somewhere.

This is an absolutely unexpected dinner experience in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood of Venice—well worth the journey. It looks out onto a beautiful neighborhood park. We ate here twice, it was so good. It features local, elevated Italian food and not pizza/pasta with meatballs slop common to tourist restaurants. It has an excellent selection of dishes with meat, fish, and vegetables, and daily specials and desserts, as well as regional wines by the glass, carafe, and bottle. Also beers, cocktails, etc. A very good value for Venice. Reservations are recommended because they were turning away walk-ins on both nights we visited. It’s now our happy place to eat when visiting Venice!

This place is just a few meters from the AirB&B where we stayed in Sant'Elena. The atmosphere is relaxed and quiet, away from the noise of central Venice. Delicious seafood dishes. The staff is friendly and helpful, finding us a place to stay even without a reservation. Prices are average for Venice (which isn't cheap by any stretch), but they're acceptable here.

17/03/2026: Excellent dinner on the canal! Ari was the best! He took really good care of my gluten allergy! I was able to get the salmon and mashed potatoes. It was a great change from the Italian food. Amazing good! Fantastic service! Very very yummy gin fizz and four roses bourbon in the old fashion!

17/07/2026: Great place to grab a bite to eat or take away sandwiches, tramezzini, and more. We often use it for lunch and then head back to the beach. Open until late at night.
