An excellent restaurant that you wouldn't expect, fresh food and gourmet dishes, waiters up to par, especially Valerio, young and competent, knowledgeable about each dish which was carefully described. Excellent from the chef to the waiters, excellent place that I recommend.

An excellent option for those looking to break the mold. Controcorrente in Fiumicino offers an extensive meat-based menu that includes classics as well as innovative dishes with interesting sweet and savory pairings that surprise with their quality and flavor! I particularly enjoyed the goose speck carpaccio and the sliced lard, honey, walnuts, and truffle. Among the desserts, the crunchy semifreddo with salted caramel and the deconstructed tiramisu stand out. The wine list is excellent, and the service is impeccable.
The prices are slightly above average, but the quality is truly top-notch.

My partner and I were there last night for dinner.
The cuisine is clearly growing, with excellent quality products, albeit with a few mistakes, but the owner is the first to notice and points this out with professionalism and kindness.
The wine list is excellent, with excellent quality, and a good selection of spirits as well.
The desserts were delicious; we had tiramisu, and what immediately struck us was the sugar-free coffee, a deconstructed dessert with an excellent mascarpone cream.
An excellent place in Fiumicino, where most restaurants aren't niche, but chaotic.
Highly recommended and worth returning to.

Passing through Fiumicino, we stopped here for dinner.
The courtesy is undeniable. Excellent service, a very charming and well-kept atmosphere. We tried the fried artichokes, Jewish-style, cacio e pepe, carbonara, and a tagliata. What can I say? Everything was truly excellent.
I would definitely return.
