05/04/2026: Top restaurant, our family’s favourite! Pizza experience is top. Thin and tasty with tons of choices. All fresh ingredients from Puglia.. when we come here for the last 10 years we always feel like at home. And the primitivo!! You need to try rose and the dolce, tiny amounts are produced and restricted to the very few people. The owner has it! If you haven’t been here thats a miss.

20/02/2026: Impeccable service, the woman was very attentive, attentive, knowledgeable, and discreet. The cuisine lived up to its accolades: the authentic flavors of our tradition interpreted in an original and respectful way. We savoured the flavours and aromas of our grandparents' dishes and enjoyed the chef's beautiful presentations. The bill surprised us (in a positive way); we probably would have even paid a little more given the wonderful dinner we were treated to.

07/01/2026: It was an excellent seafood restaurant, with an old-fashioned atmosphere, from the furnishings to the classical music in the background, unfortunately on December 31, 2025 it closed, not because of the management's will, but I think on the part of the owners...Sic!!!

17/03/2026: A historic Sanremo restaurant in one of the city's most picturesque areas, the old port. A pleasant atmosphere with friendly and knowledgeable staff. A wide selection of fresh catches of the day complements excellent seafood dishes. A must-try for seafood lovers, and beyond. The dessert trolley is an irresistible temptation to round off a great meal.

08/03/2026: On Saturday, February 28th, the day of the Sanremo Music Festival finale, we decided to spend the evening there on the recommendation of a friend, booking well in advance! It was an excellent choice! Refined atmosphere, excellent service, and excellent food! The bill surprised us. Five HUGE pasta dishes, two of which were fish, four desserts, five glasses of wine, and three bottles of water, totaling €170. For the quality of the food, it was worth every penny! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

23/03/2026: My girlfriend and I stopped for a nice, budget-friendly lunch before leaving. When the bill arrived, the charming waiter, with his trademark wit, came up with some great jokes because we decided to split it, almost as if he were teaching me a lesson. The jokes were hilarious, worthy of being nominated for Zelig for their originality and humor. The great man who lived can pay for me next time, if he wants, so we can all be happy.

23/03/2026: José, a really nice guy, served us. The atmosphere is fantastic, the food is cheap, high quality, and plentiful. Plus, the service is unbeatable; I didn't like something I ordered, and he brought me something else—wonderful! 🫶🏻🇮🇹

29/12/2025: A fairytale place, in the middle of the Sienese countryside, a little paradise on earth, the rooms are well heated and welcoming, the chef at the restaurant is exceptional, her dishes are perfection.... Very professional and available staff at any time, highly recommended!!!!

20/03/2026: We chose this stay to be immersed in the Pollino National Park and easily explore the nearby hikes. The staff were incredibly welcoming, starting with our first phone call. Once we arrived, we found a lively restaurant with lovely people and traditional Calabrian music... dinner with entertainment included! The room was clean and super heated. The staff are available for any need, even after hours. These are the people and businesses we should cherish and develop! Thank you.

18/02/2026: I visited Afro on Sundays at noon. Entering this restaurant is like taking a dive into the roots of Friuli. Everything here speaks of Friuli: the staff, the dishes served, and the atmosphere. Here, you can taste Coradazzi Prosciutto sliced ​​with a flywheel slicer, a cutting system that enhances the flavor of the prosciutto like no other. You can see the slicer in the main room, all red and shiny, proudly displayed.

17/12/2025: I've been frequenting Da Afro for years. Owner Dario applies a simple yet extraordinarily effective philosophy: seasonality and quality, quality and seasonality! The menu changes practically every season, and the cuisine uses locally sourced products, crafted into never-pretentious recipes rooted in Friulian tradition (and beyond). In winter, a roaring fireplace adds to the restaurant's emotional warmth.
