Great food, great service, and great atmosphere. This is the answer to the question, "What is an Italian restaurant?" It's more of a casual, laid-back place. I tried the Tonnarello ai funghi porcini and it was delicious. I also had the opportunity to drink a glass of their local wine; I'm not sure if the acidity increased as I drank it or as it sat :) It was a pleasant evening.

Oh I loved the lambsteaks... A must try! (Best with the montepulciano wine) The service was very friendly and professional. The ambiente was calm with nice decor.

A hidden gem. We stumbled upon it after veering away from the busy places around the Pantheon. Quiet and unassuming from the outside, it was cosy and friendly inside - an authentic Italian experience. Excellent service, so welcoming and helpful. The food was delicious, the house wine hit the spot. Would recommend and would definitely go back.
