16/08/2024: I would highly recommend trying ll malandrino. Every dish was exceptional, the staff were delightful and the price was so reasonable. I’ll be revisiting next time I’m back in Cagliari.

16/08/2024: We had the most amazing time at this restaurant. The staff were incredible and gave excellent recommendations. I got to try the famous bottarga which was very good (it’s mullet roe salted, it won’t be for everyone but I wanted to try the local delicacy) and had a tuna steak for main, my husband had cod to start and lobster tagliatelle for main. Everything was cooked to perfection and delicious. Pudding was a Sardinian dish (name I have forgotten) but again it was wonderful!! The price was very reasonable for fresh fish. Highly recommend this restaurant!

16/08/2024: We went to this place to celebrate birthday, and for sure this evening will be remembered. Great service, everybody is smilling and are keen to help, food is just marvelous, lettuce in a dish with pigeon is simply amazing trust me, you won't regret. So if you are in Trieste, simply come and eat here. Seriously.

07/08/2024: Al Petes did not disappoint, on the contrary. Food (tasting menu in our case) was wonderful with a nice variety, presentation and not the least taste. Impeccable service, topped by a nice, energetic and passionate sommerlier. The outdoor seating was providing a lovely, quiet and cosy atmosphere.

19/08/2024: We booked this restaurant through Tripadvisor and were honestly very disappointed. First of all, the price indicated on Tripadvisor is not correct, it says that it is much cheaper than it is. Once we got there, the manager put us on the farthest table of all. We asked him if he could put us at a closer table and he told us that it was reserved (a lie, those tables were never used). Once we were ordering, I asked the restaurant manager to recommend between two wines and he decided to recommend a much more expensive one, naturally we opted for one of the wines we had in mind and not the one he recommended. When we chose the wine, surprisingly the manager made a gesture of displeasure, as if he didn't like the choice since it was a cheaper wine. These events made our evening not as pleasant as we expected. Except for the manager who was arrogant, the other workers were very friendly and professional, a shame because the restaurant has a lot of potential. Greetings

18/08/2024: Akropolis is very elegant restaurant. Food is delicious, great atmosphere and excellent service. The only thing that could be improved is their English. I’d come back next time.

08/06/2024: Cena di lavoro. Servizio di alto livello il ristorante è molto accogliente con un’atmosfera minimalista. Piatti molto curati abbiamo mangiato e bevuto davvero benissimo coccolati dal personale. Prezzi mediamente alti ma adeguati al contesto abbastanza esclusivo. La location ad un passo dal mare è molto gradevole e silenziosa.

21/08/2024: Ein kleines Fest für die Sinne: mit Auberginenauflauf und Rusotto mit sensationell zubereiteten Schweinefleisch als primi und Spaghetti alla matriciana und Fisch Filets als secondi. Davor Gruß aus der Küche mit leckerem Omelette: liebevoll angerichtet und gastfreundlich serviert. Im Übrigen mehrsprachig.

05/08/2024: The meal was excellent. As a starter I had prawns which were wonderfully juicy. However, the avocado was not to my taste. The main course, a shrimp risotto with a slight lemon note, was perfectly balanced and went perfectly with the shrimp.

28/08/2024: “Water is a s%*}|a.” A contemporary declaration of love. We discovered this place by chance, on Google maps, without asking others without informing ourselves first and without reading the reviews. We read about a trattoria, a "social" photo, homemade dishes and it's immediately love. We book and upon arrival they welcome us in uniform, not quite what we expected. They accompany us to the table, impeccably arranged, they bring us water and menus. And water is truly a s%*}|a. We look at the menu and notice dishes that are different from the classics, and with prices that are decidedly higher than those of a "trattoria". A very kind and super professional girl arrives, to whom we order two appetizers (one was a fried dish, i.e. a second course) and two first courses, a bottle of wine, a dessert and two coffees. And the water was really shit. But the rest?? WOW. The rest was all perfect. A masterful symphony of flavors and service. Food 10/10 Service 10/10 Quality 10/10 Wine 10/10 Value for money 15/10 Water 1/10, but that's more of a joke. Everything fantastic, very good

13/08/2024: A restaurant with a view of the Simbruini mountains and a green valley. Here they can enjoy excellent meat, fresh porcini mushrooms and a delicious sour cherry dessert. Antonella takes care in everything she offers to her customers and has been carrying out her work for many years with commendable dedication.

08/08/2024: Dopo una visita al Santuario della SS. Trinità attirati dalle recensioni abbiamo deciso di prenotare in questo ristorante. A prescindere dalla super gentilezza dei proprietari, accoglienti, gentili e super ospitali, dire che abbiamo mangiato bene sarebbe riduttivo!!! Prodotti di ottima qualità, dai primi, alla carne a dir poco eccellente, senza togliere nulla ai contorni e ai dolci. Tutto super abbondante e prezzo top!!!! Se passate da quelle parti non potete non andare!!! Stra consigliato!!!!

25/08/2024: Bella location . Abbiamo mangiato anche bene dalla zuppa alla tagliata ai dolci ,ma ,due cose purtroppo vanno segnalate perché sono state il motivo per il quale sicuramente nn torneremo. Due di noi hanno preso gli gnocchi che per quanto buoni in se erano slegati da un condimento troppo liquido . Abbiamo chiamato la cameriera per chiedere del formaggio per amalgamare meglio il tutto. Questa signorina ci ha liquidato dicendo che il formaggio già c'era all'interno e si è rifiutato di portarlo. Non faccio altri commenti ma noi nn ci torneremo.

01/09/2024: Ci sono stato bene e ci tornerò: pizza ottima (pizza, non "canotto"!), servizio veloce ed efficiente, location molto autentica (vecchio casolare in un piccolo borgo della Val di Merse con sala interna e due terrazze esterne su due livelli: noi siamo stati al livello superiore sotto una pergola/gazebo e l'atmosfera è stata veramente piacevole. Dolci della tradizione senese tutti fatti in casa con un panpepato superlativo. C'è qualche "però": 1) il servizio dovrebbe essere più attento; 2) se ordini la pizza con le acciughe sotto pesto ti devono arrivare le acciughe (o alici, è sinonimo) e non le sarde che costano un quarto; 3) se ordini per 2 volte mezzo litro di vino sfuso (8 € mezzo litro) ti ritrovi sul conto 16 € e non 13 € che è il costo della caraffa da litro... vabbè, forse sbaglio io? 4) il crostone (-ONE!) con i fegatini di pollo e cipolla caramellata si è trasformato in 4 crostini con (ottima) cipolla in agrodolce e altrettanto ottima giardiniera fatta in casa; 5) cottura della pizza ottima ma il cornicione in alcuni punti è eccessivamente "tigrato". 6) conto: 1 litro di vino della casa, 1 birra piccola artigianale in bottiglia, acqua, 3 antipasti, 4 pizze, 3 dolci: 130 €, 32,50 € a persona (una nostra amica pizza e acqua); ormai è così dappertutto? No, non proprio, qualcuno con questa scusa si sta facendo prendere la mano. Ribadisco: ci sono stato bene e ci tornerò, anche per provare la cucina che ha delle proposte molto interessanti. Mi auguro che questa recensione sia letta dai titolari e presa come spunto costruttivo e non come critica distruttiva perché il locale ha davvero ottime potenzialità.
