The restaurant is a welcoming environment with a cellar well stocked with all quality wines and delicious dishes.

We dined for the first time at this elegant restaurant on the outskirts of Milan; the ample secure parking and access via the courtyard/garden already put guests in a positive mood. Guests are welcomed into a spacious room dominated by a striking and original bar, where fine and sophisticated wines and spirits are beautifully displayed. The bar, with a sinuous curve, leads diners into the large dining room, where it continues with equal prominence and is used for service. The large tables, mostly round for greater conviviality, are arranged to provide guests with privacy and are complemented by 19th-century wooden armchairs with comfortable armrests and high backs. The table linens, in a pale beige, are reminiscent of antique cotton, and the jaunty table setting, set obliquely to the seating, harmonizes the overall table setting. We began with "The Artichoke and Its Textures," where the heart of the vegetable, complete with stem, arranged like a plume, is accompanied by a cream soup and flan made with the same ingredients, and a truly captivating Parmesan fondue and reduction. Among the first courses, we tried the pumpkin, rosemary, veal stock, and guanciale risotto, which delighted the palate with its flavor and crunchiness. Truly a masterpiece! Next up was the curious and interesting "venison, marinated radicchio, pomegranate, and goat cheese," and a truly inviting Florentine steak, whose simple presentation embodies the high quality of the ingredients and the meticulous skill of the kitchen. From the dessert menu, we chose a classic "walnut, honey, and coffee tiramisu," and a "date, yogurt, cardamom, and pistachio panna cotta," whose blend of flavors expresses a yearning for somewhere else. A truly exceptional restaurant, well worth a try. I recommend starting with an aperitif in the well-stocked cellar, where you can enjoy a wide selection of cheeses, cured meats, and vegetables in oil, all of the highest quality, along with a wide selection of wines in a unique and welcoming atmosphere. The menu is also very varied. I've been there often, and this time I tried the "Artichoke" tasting menu. The Tonnarelli cacio pepe, artichokes, and patanegra pork cheek are memorable. The roasted artichoke with creamed potato and licorice sauce and Taleggio cheese fondue is excellent. The dessert with cynar crème caramel, caramelized artichokes, and crispy raspberries is interesting. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, elegant venue, wide selection of wines; everything is top-notch. Well done!

Very positive experience, even the aperitif in the cellar is top

I've known Brughiera for several years, having dined there several times. The food was excellent, especially the fantastic aperitif. The only small flaw... one evening I happened to be sitting at a table next to me that was too noisy. Otherwise, everything was top.
