07/09/2025: Amazing food in a casual dining restaurant with outdoor seating, great wine, amazing dishes (crudo, snails, veal ravioli with prawns, zabaglione) in a lovely charming little town Cheraaco. Total gem!!! Worth travelling there for this experience

07/09/2025: The food at Osteria La Torre was fresh, tasty, and regionally inspired. The service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Overall, a successful visit in a pleasant atmosphere – highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Piedmontese cuisine.

08/08/2025: A great restaurant in the heart of Cherasco. Very friendly service. It seems to be a family business. The cooking here is honest, and snails seem to be their specialty. We didn't try them, but all the other dishes were delicious. Highly recommended...

15/08/2025: I spent lunch on August 15th at this wonderful restaurant. The terrace was beautiful with a spectacular view!! The food was excellent, we had tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, which was truly delicious. The appetizers were excellent, especially the gnocco fritto and the cured meats. The desserts were exquisite!! Highly recommended. The staff were friendly and very professional.

22/08/2025: Exceptional. A place that's been open for over 50 years, not by chance. Well-made food, unusual combinations in some dishes, and it almost goes without saying that the food is excellent. The staff are attentive, knowledgeable, and know who they're talking to—the thing I appreciated most. Special mention for the playlist, which was very quiet but I really enjoyed it!

25/07/2025: Posto incantevole, menù eccezionale, piatti di grande qualità, personale gentilissimo e simpatico. Eravamo nel pergolato e durante la cena si è avvicinato un cucciolo di volpe che ha reso ancora più magica l'atmosfera del bosco. Abbiamo festeggiato qui il nostro anniversario e il mio compagno a fine cena, conclusa con dei dolci spettacolari (una vera gioia per il palato) mi ha chiesto di sposarlo. Probabilmente celebreremo e festeggeremo qui il nostro grande giorno!

03/08/2025: We loved eating in the lovely courtyard of this family-run restaurant. The Tavernetta's antipasti mix was particularly delicious. They also make fresh seafood dishes that look amazing (book in advance, we'll know for next time!). Special thanks to waiter Ricardo for his extreme kindness, his sense of humor, and his French-speaking skills.

04/07/2025: Absolutely lovely. We had the gnocchi and the spaghetti with seafood and they were both delicious. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable about local wines and other delicacies and we just had the best time.

12/08/2025: The food and preparation are certainly high quality. I'm limiting myself to 3 stars because, unfortunately, I think the bill is too high. The dishes are also in line with the times, but if you include only cover charge, water, and two glasses of wine, we're at €21. See the receipt. This isn't an isolated case; unfortunately, it's a general trend in Italy. The concept of a "real osteria" is dying out. What a shame.

11/08/2025: Provato spinti dalla buona reputazione del locale. Purtroppo la serata è stata una delusione. Il locale è carino e l’atmosfera piacevole, ma questo non basta a compensare il resto. Alcuni piatti erano passabili, altri davvero sotto tono, con porzioni ridotte e sapori poco convincenti per il prezzo richiesto. Per un posto con questa fama ci aspettavamo più costanza e cura. Il servizio è stato altalenante: personale gentile, ma senza la giusta attenzione nei momenti chiave. I tempi tra una portata e l’altra sono stati lunghi e non sempre giustificati. Rapporto qualità-prezzo deludente: il conto è alto rispetto a quello che si trova nel piatto. In sintesi, un locale con potenziale ma che non riesce a mantenere le promesse. Non credo torneremo.

27/07/2025: Ristorante che avevo da un po’ voglia di provare. Ci siano recati con amici ed anche se non avevamo prenotato ci hanno fatto accomodare lo stesso dicendoci però che entro tot ora dovevamo andare (per noi non era un problema). Personale gentile e cortese. Posto bello e curato. Cibo di qualità e cucinato bene. Carta dei vini con una buona scelta. Prezzo un pelino più alto rispetto alla media ma li vale ed è da provare se siete amanti del pesce.

26/07/2025: Entrare in questo posto è come aprire una porta nel tempo e ritrovarsi catapultati in quella Sicilia autentica che profuma di casa, affetto e tradizione. La caponata? All’altezza di quella di mia nonna e ho detto tutto! Un’esplosione di sapori perfettamente bilanciati, che parla la lingua della cucina fatta con amore, sapienza e materie prime superlative. Ogni piatto è un omaggio a questa terra, preparato con la maestria che solo chef Bastien 🐔 può offrire. L’arredamento è un gioiello a parte: ogni dettaglio è curato con amore e passione, tra burattini che raccontano storie antiche e tamburelli che sembrano suonare da soli la colonna sonora di una terra da vivere. E che dire dei gestori? Persone meravigliose, accoglienti come solo i siciliani sanno essere: disponibili, ospitali, sorridenti. Ti fanno sentire a casa dal primo istante, come se fossi tornata in famiglia dopo un lungo viaggio. Abbiamo scoperto una vera chicca di sole in questa grigia e caotica Milano. Un rifugio dell’anima e del gusto, dove tornare ogni volta che si ha nostalgia della Sicilia o semplicemente voglia di stare e mangiare bene! Simona

10/08/2025: We dined at the tables along the alleyway of the restaurant, a truly lovely place. We arrived very late, but even though the kitchen was about to close, they warmly welcomed us in. The food was simple, home-made, and very good. We had a plate of grandma's meatballs, some typical local sausages, a plate of potatoes, and a plate of really good vegetables. We drank two glasses of red wine and a bottle of sparkling water and paid €54. Recommended place for a simple but tasty dinner.

12/07/2025: Whenever I want to eat good fish, I've always chosen Happy Moments for several years now, and every time it's always like the first time. Besides the food, which is always excellent, the owners are also two very good people, and you can see that they put their heart and soul into this restaurant. Congratulations again, until next time!

10/07/2025: Located in the historic center of town, we were very impressed by this trattoria. The menu offers a wide selection of traditional Tuscan dishes, some with very imaginative names. Everything is cooked really well, and the staff is very kind and professional, very attentive to what's going on around them. To drink, we ordered their house red wine, and unlike many places where they serve undrinkable wines, their San Giovese was really good. It's a shame we couldn't return to try something else since we were passing through after a hike. I think there's a problem with parking; the restaurant is located in the historic center, which is in a restricted traffic zone (ZTL), which at the time was accessible but with a 30-minute disc. Outside, we only found a two-hour disc zone, so we stayed there. We were in a hurry, and we don't know if there are other options.
