15/08/2025: Disappointment compared to the past: a real shame... 😔 Three years ago, I stayed at this property and was enchanted by the peace, elegance, hospitality, and attention to detail. It was precisely that beautiful memory that brought me back this year, but unfortunately, the recent experience didn't live up to expectations. The atmosphere remained the same, but all the attention that made it special was missing: 1) The welcome aperitif is no longer offered under the new management; 2) The room wasn't very clean; the microfiber sheets were gray (I hope they were at least washed), definitely not ironed; 3) The pool water looked unappealing, perhaps due to the recent rain, but it was neglected nonetheless; 4) The restaurant service was entrusted to two very young women who, unfortunately, were poorly trained to manage the dining room; 5) Breakfast was the biggest disappointment: mostly packaged and commercial-quality products, including industrial juices. Considering how much Sardinia has to offer in terms of artisanal products, this is truly a wasted opportunity. Given the high price tag, one would expect a much higher standard. A stay in such an iconic property requires quality service and attention to detail. This place—which was Fabrizio De André's hidden gem—deserves to reclaim the standards and poetry that made it special. Otherwise, it risks slipping into the anonymity of a run-of-the-mill hotel.

10/08/2025: unfortunately I don't have any pictures of the food, we arrived after a day of traveling and ate everything like hungry dogs. but the food was really delicious and the desserts were completely out of this world. the restaurant is expensive, but sometimes you have to pay extra for quality if you get adequate service. I highly recommend visiting for a romantic dinner.

09/08/2025: Our first dinner in San Gimignano was a real hit: the flavors were outstanding, with so much attention to detail. A huge compliment to the chef and the staff, who were very friendly and accommodating. We've already made another reservation.

28/08/2025: I had a wonderful meal at the Ristorantino del Castello di Bracciano. I chose an appetizer, a first course, a dessert, and a glass of wine, all truly thoughtful and delicious. The service was impeccable: the waiter Samuel was extremely kind, attentive, and ready to offer recommendations on both the dishes and the wine pairings. A pleasant experience that I definitely recommend!

25/08/2025: Hi, I'm Alessandra. I came for lunch today with my family. A friend and colleague recommended it to me, recommending the food. We ate very well, accompanied by a glass of Chianti and a delicious tiramisu. It was an excellent first course, beautifully cooked. Pappardelle with wild boar ragù was delicious. 07/09/2025: It was truly a 10-star experience. It's a five-minute walk from the tourist area of ​​Vernazza, and has a much quieter and more welcoming atmosphere. The pasta with walnut cream and the gnocci with pesto are spectacular. The desserts are also delicious, and the coffee granita with cream they recommended was incredible. The two Spanish-speaking waitresses are delightful, super welcoming and charming. Highly recommended!

06/09/2025: Food was excellent at reasonable prices and the service was very fast and friendly! Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Vernazza, it's only a short walk from the station and easily the best cafe we visited in Cinque Terre!

01/09/2025: Disappointing. One slice of stew was barely warm and not at all tender. Accompanied by very few carrots and zucchini. The hazelnut parfait was so frozen that I couldn't appreciate its flavor. It was barely breakable with a fork and knife. The chocolate sauce mentioned on the menu seemed more like cocoa powder in small lumps.
