09/03/2026: We went on a Saturday evening. The place is very charming and rustic. We ordered typical Trentino dishes (carne salada, strangolapreti, venison). Without anything to compare (since we've never eaten these dishes elsewhere in Trentino), everything was very good. In addition to local cuisine, there's a wide selection of dishes (spaghetti allo scoglio, carbonara, etc.), but as "tourists," we preferred traditional fare over the rest. The service was excellent, the wait was minimal, and the place was clean. The price was also more than reasonable. Overall, we liked it 😄

26/01/2026: A very nice place, with attention to every detail... the menu is not very impressive, it is made up of a few simple traditional Trentino dishes and fish specialties which are accompanied by exclusively "fresh" pasta.

09/03/2026: We returned to "Il Cavallino" after a while and noticed the improvement, especially with the first courses. We tried several first courses, which I think you'll have a chance to try again these days if the menu doesn't change. The seafood risotto, unlike anything you've ever tried, will make you fly, as will the seafood pasta and potatoes, and a treat that might be hard to find elsewhere: the seafood lardiata! For our second course, we opted for the classic mixed fried fish, which was very tasty and the fish was incredibly fresh. We also recommend the desserts, a treat you might only find in a pastry shop: tiramisu cannoli 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 and the ricotta and pear.

06/03/2026: Location that already upon entering makes you feel in a welcoming place, unique and intriguing. The maitre d' very kind and suuuupeeerrr nice, we were welcomed very well.. starting with the very delicious and fresh raw appetizer and then tasting the spaghetti with black garlic of incredible goodness "that overwhelming flavor remained in my memory" and then finishing with the fish soup cooked with tomato puree very good but it didn't intrigue me as much as the rest.. mandarin sorbet fresh and different from the usual.. I expected more choice of desserts and perhaps lighter among the choices apart from the sorbets they all seemed too heavy to finish a meal.. a tip, I missed the wet wipes to clean my hands, I don't know if they were available but there were no offers.. anyway it remains an excellent place and I hope to return soon!!

22/02/2026: A must-try restaurant, open for years. I really enjoy the cuisine, typical of the Abruzzo coast with plenty of seafood. However, it seems to me that the menu hasn't changed much in years (my last visit was over 10 years ago), but I'm not entirely sure. That being said, the dishes were excellent, from the antipasti (an assortment of raw and then cooked fish) to the desserts (apple strudel with vanilla ice cream), not forgetting the primi and secondi. The wine list offers a nice variety of local and international wines at prices to suit all budgets. I highly recommend it and will definitely return.

09/12/2025: The food is excellent, with very high quality and a refined, carefully prepared cuisine that's not overdone. There are 12-13 seats and reservations are required. I should add that it's quite difficult to book on weekends, even months in advance. It's much easier on weekdays.

25/10/2025: We came for lunch with our 3-year-old daughter. The person in charge of the dining room didn't offer us anything for our daughter (a small plate or spoon). She didn't seem happy to have us as customers. The dishes were good and nicely presented. After our dishes, she cleared away without offering us coffee or dessert. 7 euros for cutlery is very expensive, especially with unfriendly service. I do not recommend.

13/02/2026: A real gem, my French friends! A superb Italian restaurant with a refined, romantic, and convivial atmosphere! You immediately feel at ease. The service is impeccable. The homemade fresh pasta is delicious. And the desserts are a true delight, the perfect way to end the meal. Plus, there's a magnificent view, and at the end of the day you can admire the sunset! I come back to this restaurant every year.

14/03/2026: An unusual and surprising restaurant. The four brothers gave us a warm and simple welcome. Delicious food and fresh fish. The homemade desserts were delicious. They offered us a tasting of local grappa: excellent. I recommend this restaurant. We had a lovely evening.
