21/08/2024: Kind as always, a corner of paradise....always a pleasure to stay overnight when I return to Luxembourg. Staff always available, good restaurant and good breakfast, even our 4-legged friends enjoyed it.

21/08/2024: Hotel in an excellent position between Como (about half an hour) and Varenna (just over an hour), it has a large car park in front of a villa, furthermore the hotel has an internal garden with plants and statues, equipped with tables and sofas. I stayed two nights in a room for 4 guests equipped with a minibar with a corridor that separated the two single beds from the double bed (a sort of "two rooms in one"), the bathroom is also very large and the cleanliness is certainly what I noticed not only on the day of check-in but also the next. In general it is a hotel that has a lot of attention to detail, I was impressed by everything: room, cleanliness, reception. The breakfast is plentiful and the staff is super friendly and helpful, you can have breakfast not only in the internal room but also in a splendid outdoor garden overlooking the natural landscape. Overall it is a hotel that I highly recommend, excellent value for money!

04/08/2024: A really nice surprise: excellent quality of fish, courtesy in the room, excellent preparation! We ate a nice raw fish with delicious oysters, a pacchero with amazing redfish, excellent side dishes, delicious desserts! It's worth coming back! Highly recommended!

06/08/2024: Simply exceptional in every respect. Restaurant food and services: The quality of the food is excellent, with delicious fish dishes and exquisite homemade desserts. The kitchen is well stocked with local products, including delicious cheeses. The service is impeccable, making us feel welcomed at home in a luxurious environment. Staff: The staff is courteous and attentive, ensuring warm and professional hospitality that contributes to a memorable experience. Rooms: The rooms are comfortable and well equipped, with large bathrooms equipped with spacious showers. The only flaw could be the size of the TV compared to the distance from the bed, but this does not affect the overall comfort. Atmosphere: The hotel exudes a formal and luxurious atmosphere without ever making us feel uncomfortable. The panoramic view from the pool, breakfast area and restaurant is exceptional, adding a special touch to the overall experience. Value for money: The quality-price ratio is adequate for the quality of the services offered. Even with an extra lunch and drinks, the cost was reasonable considering the gift voucher for a weekend with SPA, dinner and breakfast included. SPA: The SPA, although small, offers everything you need for an hour of total relaxation, including a Finnish sauna, a Turkish bath, an emotional shower and spaces for resting with relaxing herbal teas. In conclusion, Ca' del Poggio Ristorante & Hotel Villa del Poggio is the ideal place for those looking for a luxury stay without excess, where the quality of the food, the comfort of the rooms and the hospitality of the staff combine for an unforgettable experience .

04/08/2024: Nothing to say regarding the hotel, very friendly service, clean rooms, good breakfast, magnificent view. We stayed two nights to treat ourselves to a relaxing weekend, and we had a great time. The flaw was the restaurant. We had dinner there on a Saturday evening, magnificent view and nice atmosphere... but honestly the food and service leave a little to be desired. Service was too fast... we had high expectations regarding the food given that a relative of mine celebrated his wedding there two years ago and we found everything very good. Perhaps the manager is focusing precisely on that: ceremonies and hotels, leaving the restaurant to be desired. It's a shame, because as dishes they also seem quite refined and particular, but I repeat, the taste leaves something to be desired. Nothing special. Sin.

30/08/2024: I have been frequenting it for many years. Always a guarantee. Fresh fish, impeccable and fast service, honest prices for what they offer. Finally, I would like to point out particular attention to children, with a dedicated menu (not only the classic pasta with sauce but also specially designed fish dishes) and a menu sheet with games to entertain them. 08/08/2024: We stopped by chance, a very warm welcome, the boss is very friendly. Very good pizza, discovery of the Orecchiette alla pugliese a delight and to finish with a very good filoncino caldo al cioccolato I highly recommend if you pass by there or take a detour enjoy your meal!!!

02/09/2024: Wonderful hotel overlooking the sea in the heart of Sorrento. We decided to organize our wedding in this fairytale location. Everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail, from the welcome, the service and above all the quality of the food thanks to the mastery of Chef Raffaele Coppola. 5 stars are not enough to describe the fairy tale they made us live.

01/09/2024: It had been a dream since she was a girl...coming home during school I would pass there, next to Bellevue I would look out there in that small white window overlooking the wonderful terrace of Bellevue and I was simply dreaming... dreamed of since I was little I told myself and repeated to myself one day I will get married there...so it was on 10 July 2024 I fulfilled my dream, exceeding every type of expectation, that dream I had as a girl became a wonderful reality...it was the day best of my life. I never doubted the professionalism I would encounter. We write this review to thank all the staff at Bellevue, for the professionalism, kindness and attention they have always given us. I would first of all like to thank Mariamatilde, a very sweet professional, ready to satisfy our every request, always smiling and courteous, ditto Angelo, both with a humility of absurd soul. Mariamatilde was present at every moment during the wedding day, making sure that everything proceeded smoothly, but not only on the day of the wedding, but also in the days preceding it, she always appeared available and attentive. A special thank you also to the Chefs who were exceptional, following us from the choice of menus to the day of the rehearsal, giving us lots and lots of advice, scrupulously attentive, they followed us step by step, satisfying our every request, also honoring us with a greeting on the day of the wedding, thank you Chef Raffaele and Ivan you were wonderful. A last but not least thank you to the maître Nando who didn't leave us for a moment asking us if we needed anything, remaining by our side all day and after the ceremony we chatted, pleasantly comparing ourselves with him, a great person as well as a great professional in the sector . The waiters are always smiling, kind and courteous. We couldn't ask for anything more, everything was as we had dreamed, in fact much better, everything exceeded expectations. Not to mention the suite where we slept on our wedding night without words, breakfast in the morning in the room was something to take your breath away. Bellevue is a simply dreamlike place, with terraces overlooking the sea and a breathtaking sunset. The attention to detail, from design to construction, was impeccable thanks to Mariamatilde and Angelo. A dream come true. We will carry this day forever in our hearts like most of the exceptional staff at Bellevue. We are grateful for all the work done and absolutely recommend it to all newlyweds. 24/08/2024: Excellent time at Cala Piada. Welcomed by a very warm Frenchman, we were pampered, table prepared outside while we received advice on choosing in French, local and excellent products. Everyone is very attentive and it was a perfect and inexpensive lunch break that was offered to us. Specialty between sandwich and panini with homemade bread and a huge choice. Salads etc. Far from the tourist trap restaurants we recommend!!!!

16/08/2024: They charge for service when in reality you are paying to be able to sit at a table, because no one is going to serve you. That is, you pay for self service. Furthermore, they don't let you pay by card if there is no minimum consumption, something that no longer happens even in the smallest store in the most remote place. In my opinion it is just another place, opened by a speculator, with zero reasons to recommend in a place as beautiful as Ortigia.

Without a doubt, it was the highlight of our culinary journey. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and genuine smiles. Walter, the waiter and husband of the chef, went above and beyond to make us feel at home, ensuring that every detail of our meal was perfect. His attentiveness and deep knowledge of the menu added an extra layer of excellence to our dining experience, offering insightful recommendations that truly elevated our meal. The food was nothing short of extraordinary. Each dish was a masterpiece, crafted with the finest ingredients and brimming with authentic Italian flavors. We savored the Pici pasta with white meat sauce and Pecorino cheese fondue, as well as the Grilled Tenderloin in Green Pepper Cream—both cooked to perfection, with rich and flavorful sauces that left a lasting impression. 14/08/2024: We arrive from Catania in this Madonie wedding favor, we found a wonderful welcome with the exceptional Castelbuonese white wine, and very genuine and delicate dishes! The white ragù with porcini mushrooms is fantastic!!

13/08/2024: We found Hostaria Cycas by accident and were so glad we did and actually ended up eating 4 meals there during our week’s stay in Castelbuono. Everything we had was delicious (pizza, pasta, desert), portions were large and the prices very reasonable. On top of this the staff were very welcoming, friendly and relaxed. Throughly recommended!

23/07/2024: Although it is far from the main beach, it was rather quiet and nice. Unlike other hotels, it is not high so you can move around easily. There is a free public beach close to the hotel, which is great because there aren't many people! If you call when you arrive, please move your luggage and bring it to the port in time for the return ferry.

19/07/2024: Restaurant very hard to find. A long walk uphill and you never know if you are going to restaurant or not. No signs. 6 of us ordered, 4 dinner either wrong or not good. Wait staff not so friendly and seem to not understand English. Very disappointed. Not worth the trouble to find.
