03/07/2026: I ate at this pizzeria on the Sempione Pass, and I have to say I didn't enjoy it. I ordered a mixed fried fish, and when it was brought to my table, I looked at the waiter, thinking it was a joke. Something like 10 or 15 small pieces of fried fish (€20), which were good, but a portion too small to be true. As for the pizzas, my Novarese was good, but nothing more than a standard Zola pizza with spicy salami (€12). The mortadella (€14) had slices spread all over the pizza and was anything but flavorful. In my opinion, it was unpresentable. I ate bread and breadsticks to fill up, and spent a whopping €60 for two, drinking water. When you leave a restaurant and go to McDonald's to eat, to fill up, there's something wrong.

25/07/2026: A truly exceptional trattoria combining extraordinary hospitality and kindness, sincere and flavorful cuisine made with high-quality ingredients, and a lovely wine list at very reasonable prices. We enjoyed the delicious polenta with porcini mushrooms and Grana Padano cheese, the incredible tuna tartare with Taggiasca, and Grand Marnier ice cream with sbrisolona. A restaurant that restores your faith in humanity, and that's a very good thing these days. Bravo!

25/07/2026: Bright and clean, the staff are very professional and genuinely friendly. Tables are spaced further apart than average, giving guests a sense of space and comfort. The menu is reminiscent of the old-fashioned Artusi cuisine, with no regional specialties but with a wide variety of "Italian" dishes like mushroom crepes, tortellini in broth, veal with tuna sauce, and various roast meats. It also leaves room for creativity in original dishes like pappardelle with guinea fowl ragù. Excellent selection of ingredients and well-executed recipes (the homemade egg pasta is textbook). Even the vegetable side dishes are prepared with care and attention to flavor and variety. Very kind to families and small children. In our case, they even offered to wash the dishes we had brought for our baby's food.

06/08/2026: This was the best meal I had in Italy hands down. The pasta is to die for. 10/10. Restaurant is packed with locals too.

05/08/2026: A Turin restaurant now well-known even among tourists. Very good food and excellent service. The restaurant is quaint, with several rooms on two floors. Carefully prepared and original dishes. Excellent wine list.

07/08/2026: Terrible experience: we booked directly with the establishment by phone with a Smartbox (to which we also had to add €90 and exchange). They called us the next day (August 6) to cancel the reservation because they said they would be closed for the entire month of August 2026 because "the owner and chef are having problems"—the exact words of the lady on the phone. Madness. Edit to respond to the establishment: when booking, I had to give three different dates because you said you were fully booked and had events. We'll verify the actual closure. PS. Would a business owner really decide to close a business for over a month because an employee was sick, instead of finding a replacement? I mean, are we really supposed to believe this? Best wishes for a speedy recovery :)

06/08/2026: I tried to cancel this reservation and It is impossible. They asked for my credit card and mentioned that they would charge me $70.00 for a no show. The email confirmation, the phone number of the restaurant and the Platform they use for the reservation will not let me cancel. So be aware.

28/07/2026: "La Nicchia nel Sasso" was a magical experience. The view of a glimpse of the Sassi, the soft lounge music in the background, and Chef Vito explaining the dishes and their use of high-quality ingredients (for example, olive oil) were magical. First course: porcini mushrooms and truffle. Second course: perfectly stewed meat. Side dish (vegetables) and dessert (pistachio and chocolate tart). I highly recommend it. 27/07/2026: Dont sleep on this place in Catania! If you need a break from pasta and pizza eat here! All three flavors of the skewers were AMAZING with the pop sauce and mayo. The Kombucha was great too! I could’ve ordered more of the skewers since they’re smaller than expected

12/07/2026: Everything was perfect, from the welcome to the service, and especially the food. Absolutely not to be missed if you're passing through the Val d'Orcia. The first courses, in particular, are truly spectacular.

05/07/2026: Very good food and a quiet place to spend a lovely evening. We ordered a platter of house specialties, accompanied by an excellent red wine. Everything was delicious, and we'll definitely return if we have the chance to pass through Castiglione d'Orcia again. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

11/07/2026: Excellent place, attentive and professional service, the food is very good, the price is reasonable, I recommend it, the only flaw in my opinion are the desserts, €10 for a small glass with tiramisu inside (good for goodness sake) is too much.
