30/10/2025: I was able to use the catering service at La Lanterna restaurant, all managed by Mrs. Regina, who had proposed herself as a highly prestigious wedding planner. The couple had their rehearsal dinner, which went very well, everything had been decided, or at least we thought so. We arrive at the location where the event was supposed to take place, and find the aperitif in full sun, bowls with melted ice, a few appetizers and a few non-alcoholic appetizers, appetizers served on small plates standing up, some a lot, some nothing, we enter the room, where I must say it was incredibly hot, 33 degrees, we sit at the table, we are served water with an eyedropper by rude and listless waiters, I must say that there was no maître d' to manage everything, it is time for the first courses, very good, but one guest does not like it and asks a waiter for a plate of pasta with oil, he is rudely refused, alleging that the chef refuses to serve this dish at the table, we get to the fish that was supposed to be a sea bream, we were presented with a strange fish, after much insistence, we received the answer it was turbot, all this without informing anyone, I would like to point out that Sea bream and turbot are two different types of fish, so if someone was allergic, it could have been a serious problem. There was a staff member who had to entertain children and adults, and their food was very limited and very late. After lunch, a corner was set up for the liqueurs I had purchased, high-quality liqueurs, placed in the sun, therefore very hot. After insisting, they brought ice, but the chocolate brought for tasting was all melted. When it was time for dessert, the dessert buffet was brought out, also in the sun, and they all melted. Luckily, the cake went well, even though it wasn't given to the staff. Furthermore, coffee and sparkling wine weren't served, clarifying that this hadn't been agreed upon with the bride and groom. Do you think this is possible? Even if it wasn't agreed upon, it's obvious! So my advice: don't hire catering, venues, and other nonsense; for a certain amount of money, hire a nice, classy restaurant and you'll certainly enjoy yourself more.

The spaces are clean, well-organized, and designed to make every guest feel completely at ease. The service is simply excellent; the staff is attentive, fast, always available, and possesses a rare level of professionalism. In particular, the young man serving our table truly lived up to the expectations of the venue: kind, knowledgeable, attentive to every need, and capable of making us feel cared for without ever being intrusive. A true guarantee. The cuisine is excellent, sublime in fact. Each dish is prepared with quality ingredients and impeccable care. The flavors are balanced, intense, and perfectly crafted, making it one of those culinary experiences that will remain etched in your memory. A team of true professionals, both in the dining room and in the kitchen, capable of offering a complete experience from every perspective. The prices are excellent, especially considering the high level of service and quality offered. A truly unbeatable value. Highly recommended for those looking for a place where everything works perfectly. I will definitely be back.

14/11/2025: The most beautiful place in the world, where you feel at home. Located on a panoramic hill just a minute from the center of Capezzano Pianore, in summer you can fully enjoy the garden surrounded by nature. The food and service are top-notch, and the owner makes you feel at home. There's nothing better in the area.

18/03/2026: We had an early (for Italy) dinner in the restaurant part, & had the meat & fish tasting menu. The building is amazing, a very old ex palazio, very stylishly decorated & comfortable. While the food was fantastic, the service was the standout, especially from our wait staff, Luigi and Pascuale who really made our meal special. Was on the more expensive side for Pompeii (cheaper than south of England), but definitely worth it.

10/02/2026: I had lunch at Al Vecchio Mulino. The food was excellent, carefully prepared, and rich in flavor. But what struck me most was the infinite kindness of all the staff: attentive, smiling, and always available. The place was beautiful and welcoming. I will definitely return and highly recommend it.

04/01/2026: We celebrated my birthday here after visiting the wonderful Musaba open-air museum in Mammola. The restaurant was welcoming and clean. The lunch, featuring pasta with traditional stockfish and meat dishes presented on a griddle, was excellent. The wait staff was helpful and welcoming. Special thanks to Andrea and Ilenia.

21/02/2026: I remember that evening well, and it's important to put our stay into context: it was a Saturday night, Valentine's Day, and right in the middle of Carnival. Regarding the "unbearable noise," the situation we and other families witnessed was quite different. We witnessed a truly horrifying and reprehensible scene: a man yelling at little girls who were simply playing in the hotel living room until they burst into tears. I believe that respect for minors and human sensitivity should come before any demand for absolute silence. As for me, I spent a wonderful weekend with my family, full of fun and carefree moments. We truly enjoyed our stay at the castle, where the kindness of the hostess, Flavia, and the excellent assistance of her staff, truly made the difference. By the way, I'd like to point out that the breakfast was superb, with baked goods made in-house. Top pizza as far as the restaurant is concerned, some dishes could be reviewed

21/02/2026: Dear Sir, I was also present that evening, and I'm taking the liberty of intervening because I witnessed the scene you describe firsthand. It's true that in the living room, some families were still spending time together after dinner, in a peaceful and convivial atmosphere, as often happens on a weekend, especially on Valentine's Day. The children were laughing and playing, perhaps a little lively, but without any intention of causing a disturbance or showing disrespect. What struck many in attendance was the manner in which the gentleman spoke, clearly agitated, raising his voice and using inappropriate language in front of families and children. His reaction seemed disproportionate to the situation, causing discomfort and fear, especially among the youngest guests. The act of throwing objects from the living room also created further tension and concern among the guests. I understand that everyone may have different noise tolerance levels, but in a facility that welcomes families, especially on a holiday evening, it's normal for the atmosphere to be more lively until a certain hour. I believe it's always possible to find solutions through dialogue and mutual respect, without resorting to reactions that risk compromising everyone's peace of mind. With this post, I simply wish to report what I saw with my own eyes, respecting the truth and the other guests present.

07/03/2026: Very fresh fish and unusual dishes with very pleasant combinations... discovered today by chance and were very pleased... the service was also friendly, even though, as motorcyclists, we were late, but they welcomed us anyway. The bill isn't cheap, but the quality/price ratio is fair. Recommended

24/02/2026: I found this restaurant by chance near the train station while traveling through Savona. A friend and I had lunch there, featuring a spectacular, elegant and delicious pasta dish with clams. The wine was excellent, and the dessert was delicious. The owner and staff were friendly and courteous, even though we arrived just before the kitchen closed.

02/01/2026: It's not the first time, not surprisingly, dishes that amaze the palate, smell, and taste buds. Everything is impeccable. I have a small complaint: the place isn't well heated. I recommend a stove with a fire; it would add a touch of warmth and make the space more welcoming. In the bathroom, turning on the existing radiator would be enough.
