01/10/2025: We were here for lunch on a tour. Food was good, but the prawns were excellent!

27/09/2025: Very good, flavorful dishes with perfect portions. The price is very fair, even including the bottle of wine. The fennel liqueur is a must-try! The restaurant is surrounded by greenery and is very welcoming, especially the small dining room in the internal courtyard. The staff and owners are knowledgeable, hospitable, and friendly, with special attention to our dog, Macchia. A final highlight is the unexpected company of cuddly and well-behaved kittens of all ages, from the nearby farm. Well-groomed and clean, they are available for adoption by anyone who will fall in love with them! We will definitely be back at the first opportunity!

05/10/2025: Stumbled across this lovely inviting restaurant. After traveling via Rome and Florence my wife and I agreed it is the best pasta so far. I had the pesto, potato and bean spaghetti and my wife had a seafood spaghetti. We finished with home made pies. It was the Italy I had imagined.

30/09/2025: Nice, quiet place to have dinner. Popular with the locals. The couple that operate the place are nice and always smiling.

07/10/2025: A secluded spot, next to the lighthouse. The owners don't speak English, but they try to communicate with their customers. The food is fresh and delicious, the local wine is good, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is lovely. I highly recommend it.

07/10/2025: Truly an exceptional experience! At Hostaria del Faro, I enjoyed phenomenal fried fish: crispy, light, and with an irresistible seafood aroma—you could tell the fish was incredibly fresh. The service was impeccable, friendly, and attentive to every detail. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed, perfect for enjoying a quality lunch or dinner. 12/10/2025: Fairly close to Piazza del Campo in Siena, good, light pizza, low prices, but the service is a bit slow. All in all, it's okay.

02/10/2025: The atmosphere and staff are pleasant, and the food is delicious. I recommend the pizza. Among the desserts, I really liked the tiramisu and panna cotta.

01/10/2025: we were alone at the bar cause of low season but received just absolutely stunning service! The guy at the bar was extremely friendly kind and generous with free snacks . Tasty aperol with good quality prosecco and tasty white wine. And the most important thing there is a playground which was helpful with a todler . So highly recommended

09/10/2025: Best food i've had on this Italy trip (as someone w high standards) - truly remarkable food in every possible way. The duck prosciutto with foie is to die for, and they accommodated my gluten free friend by offering to change part of the dish - and it was still delicious.

13/10/2025: A wonderful day!!! The table setting was enchanting; my family and I had lunch practically on the lakeside. We enjoyed everything from appetizers to dessert. What can I say about the service? Simply PERFECT! The waiters were attentive and ready to fulfill our REQUESTS, excellent at explaining the menu and recommending portions. The quality of the food was truly TOP, TOP, TOP!!! The wine list was excellent! Congratulations, guys, keep up the good work! You're a wonderful place!!! We'll be back soon.

13/10/2025: The service was lovely and the ambiance of the restaurant was nice. I really believe that the chef has great intentions and I love all the effort they put into their dishes - just for some reason it wasn’t hitting the spot. The bread and bread sticks were amazing! The olive oil was really good but we wanted access to the entire bottle (maybe we’re the problem). We ordered the amberjack which we thought was a bit overcooked and served on sweet potato mash (maybe). I LOVED the seafood risotto but the texture was off. Finally, we risked it and got the carpaccio cannolis - which was a weird flavor profile since it was just beef and lettuce. Also, they sat me next to the door that lead out to the outdoor patio which was really loud and was highly trafficked. I don’t think that’s a good spot for a table since every door slam I felt.

03/10/2025: The spaghetti with truffle and courgettes were good, the duck leg with truffle and Jerusalem artichoke was excellent, but I was disappointed with the dessert. I chose a Montblanc, but a dessert with custard arrived, never mind.

04/10/2025: The food was delicious, especially the gamberoni pasta. There was a long line, but they adjusted the table to accommodate our group size. Luckily, thanks to their flexible instructions, we were seated quickly. The person taking our order was friendly, but when I asked about dessert, she didn't seem to understand what I was saying, and she blatantly ignored me and walked away. I was like, "Huh?" and felt bad. The food came out quickly, and when I paid, they asked for a tip, but I honestly don't understand why anyone would give one. It just felt like a typical tourist restaurant. I have no intention of returning.

07/10/2025: I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is spectacular, the location incredible, and it has a unique charm and atmosphere. The service is even better, the waiters are kind, and so are the owners. It's worth it.

05/10/2025: A disgrace: the reception lady was extremely rude, exhausted, and rude to the guest! The room was from the 1920s and poorly maintained. The double beds are actually two single beds joined together. The headboard is falling down. The floor tiles are all broken. In the bathroom, a broken glass shower door. The shower handle was leaning against the wall when I turned on the shower, so that was also broken! The rooms smell of mold. When you arrive, the refrigerator is off, and after paying handsomely for the room, not even a single bottle of water is provided. But the lady's rudeness is what bothered us the most... presumptuous and rude, I urge you not to stay there!

20/10/2025: A delightful evening at this gourmet restaurant, with delicious dishes enjoyed on a beautiful terrace, all accompanied by the talented pianist Pino Portelli. Highly recommended.
