A lot of care is taken in the choice of raw materials, as well as in the presentation of the dishes. Rich and non-obvious menu. Excellent value for money. 30/03/2025: We had dinner at Grano and, unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The restaurant is extremely noisy, which made it hard to enjoy the evening. Their recommended specialty—spaghetti aglio e olio with squid—was served almost cold, lacked flavor, and the squid was disappointingly gummy. None of the other dishes managed to impress us either. Service felt impersonal and was on the slow side, which only added to the overall underwhelming experience. Wouldn’t recommend.

27/03/2025: Traditional Roman pork and egg yolk pasta is delicious The steak is veal meat. It doesn't have any beef flavor. It's very tender and delicious. Dessert thousand layer tower is also very good

23/03/2025: I have already tried the restaurant a few times. Excellent location, very welcoming and friendly staff. The cuisine is excellent, modern and at the same time respectful of local traditions which are nice to know or rediscover. Always very interesting to discover what's off the menu of the day. Elegant and refined service that also knows how to be affable, with that touch of sincere informality that makes it truly pleasant. Excellent wine list, with a particular predilection for the selection of champagne, really difficult to find so rich and interesting. The quality/price ratio of both the food and the wines is very honest. Super recommended.

13/03/2025: Exceptional business lunch, on the recommendation of a dear friend: Snails in sauce, roasted eels cooked in the pizza oven, side dish of young broad beans, sebada with honey and house red. All superb. Friendly and professional staff, impeccable service. Super recommended, great experience.

28/09/2024: Da Buona Salentina il conviviale è in primis la tavola di casa nostra . Appunto abbiamo rivisitato questo nome restaurant e persino l'aria ricorda noi in tutto . I piatti non solo abbondanti ma originali del territorio . Luigina è la mamma che apparecchia e serve con la dolcezza che contraddistingue le nostre mamme in cucina . Arriviamo sotto un porticato illuminato ad aria marina ( pochi passi dal mare ionio) un ciao "settative è pronto" accoglie un tavolo ordinato e funzionale . Antipastib( non finivano mai ) di terra nostra con vino a scelta . Primi di terra con opzione di ricotta scanta ...e qui i ricordi della mia nonna e papà."Sagne incannulate "e sugo che mai potreste assaggiare se non nel mio Salento . In quella serata la specialità del giorno " monicedde" ...ripetiamo ripetiamo e ripetiamo . Ma ora ....perché scrivere ancora ....vi mostro le foto ( alcuni piatti saltati al fotografo perché già buttato sul piatto ) .Vieni in Puglia e vuoi mangiare i piatti di una cucina "te casa " ??? VIENI QUI .

11/04/2025: It is the best Italian restaurant in Malcesine. Food was delicious so was House wine. I strongly recommend gnocchi, pasta with shrimps and grilled fresh fish. It was possible to swap some side dishes from main menu with fresh vegetables that were just divines! Stuff was very friendly and welcoming. For the short stay we visited this place twice and could eat there again. Strongly recommend to eat and drink at Al Gondoliere. You feel that they are dedicated to keep this place on top.

The food was outstanding — the risotto and the artichoke were simply out of this world, full of depth and character. What truly elevated the meal was the warmth and authenticity of the people behind it. The chef and the host are not just incredibly skilled — they’re amazing, genuine individuals who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. This was one of those rare experiences that stays with you. I recommend this place 100%. If you’re near Volpaia, don’t even think twice — just go.

01/04/2025: All very good. Compliments to the waiter on duty, attentive and elegant. Prices a little high. "Too rushed" atmosphere as far as I'm concerned in such an environment. But is it a tavern????

Absolutely 0 stars for "service" and "atmosphere", after 25 minutes of waiting (for what?) and after being treated disrespectfully by the "waiter", we left... I do not recommend!!! Give a wide berth!!! The bottom and three meters of mud!!!
