04/11/2025: 5/5 stars! We visited this charming tavern and received a warm welcome from the friendly owner. The food was absolutely delicious, and the variety was fantastic! I especially want to highlight the homemade dessert – the panna cotta with caramel and blueberries was simply divine! My wife ate two slices. The limoncello was also homemade and absolutely delicious. We would love to come back, but unfortunately, it was the last day before their winter break. Nevertheless, everything was fresh, and the prices were, of course, typical for Capri – not cheap, but worth every penny. If you're looking for more affordable options, you might be better off going to Mallorca.

02/11/2025: He suddenly kissed me and charged me more than the price he quoted me. I was enjoying my time on Capri, but in the end I was left feeling sad. Please be careful.

23/10/2025: Let's start with the fact that we weren't able to book due to "time/forgetfulness/hesitation." We arrived and they found us a table, no problem, but with a slightly annoyed expression... (maybe because the girl was in a wheelchair?) The place itself isn't very big. It's unique in various ways. Lots of non-Italian tourists. We ordered an appetizer that was out of this world, not good, more than that! As for the "pizza," absolutely NOT! Too thin, without a crust, and with little toppings; not at all, in fact, we left it. The staff was varied: a kind and polite girl, a guy with glasses (perhaps the owner) who was all alone, and a lady who had a perpetually angry face.

19/10/2025: We stopped by for a midweek business lunch. What can I say? We tried a typical dish I wasn't familiar with, being from Veneto/Emilia: Fojade. Amazing! Then we ordered the French fries, delicious! Too bad we didn't have much time and couldn't try the other dishes and desserts.

02/11/2025: A (shooting) star because it's the only thing you can give less. We had gone with great enthusiasm, hoping to enjoy local food. Unfortunately, we were completely disappointed. Terrible service. The dishes we ordered arrived drowned in oil and onion. A chickpea and chestnut soup was undignified (it tasted only of oil and rosemary), served with a meager crouton. When we asked for more, we had to wait an indefinite amount of time while the soup cooled. Not recommended.

16/09/2025: This is maybe even the best restaurant i have ever been to. Quality is 10/10, food + desert the best around Florence. Truffle pasta, steak, peach desert and semifreddo have really been amazing and i really can't recommend this place enough. 09/09/2025: My husband and I just had the amazing pleasure of getting married at Castello del Trebbio with our wedding dinner at La Sosta del Gusto. Maurizio, the restaurant manager, is such a kind soul. Giuliana is a legend with the best energy. Sabrina was a delight. And the rest of their staff was a blessing. I looked forward to seeing them so much each day, and am so appreciative of the service that they provided. It was truly best in class. From the moment we met them during our trial, we were taken care of. In fact, Guiliana even helped entertain our niece so that my sister and her husband could enjoy their trial meal as well. The food during the weekend was impeccable – even better than I could have expected, from start to finish. The ingredients were fresh and the presentation was elegant. I cannot compliment this team enough for their attention to detail and for truly helping make this weekend the most special experience for everyone. Again, if you are even reading reviews for this venue, you’ve found it. I will never forget the experience we had, but maybe more special to me are the people who helped bring it to life. I will never forget them and hope that I can see them all again one day. With immense gratitude, thank you for everything.

27/10/2025: I liked that the restaurant has a great variety of dishes — the menu is diverse, and I was really happy with my choice. Everything tasted fresh and well-balanced, without too many spices, just good food. I also tried counting the calories using the service mentioned in the photo. It’s very convenient — in about a minute you can get full info on calories and macros. For anyone keeping an eye on their diet, this is genuinely useful.

30/10/2025: While strolling through town, we stopped there with our three children for a quick bite. The Google rating was quite good at 4.3 stars. No one greeted us, so we found a table inside ourselves, as all the outdoor tables were occupied. There wasn't much room inside for a stroller, but we managed with a bit of maneuvering. The service wasn't very friendly, more neutral than anything, bordering on stressed. There was no particular focus on the children, which is quite different from what we've experienced in Italy. The ambiance is nice, right next to the church in the old town. The children had pasta Bolognese with rather large spiral pasta, which wasn't ideal for them to eat because of its size, but the portion and taste were fine. I had a panini, which was also tasty, but for my taste, the bread was too thick or there wasn't enough filling. We also had cappuccino, which was very good. The price was reasonable. A different server came by once or twice to ask if everything was alright. The restrooms were separate and clean. We paid at the register inside, but no one said goodbye to us. I'd give it about 3.8 stars. In conclusion: The food is good, but the service could be improved to make guests feel more welcome. All in all, though, we would eat there again.

16/10/2025: The food tasted very good and the service was excellent even though it was so busy our food arrived in under 10 minutes and the employee Luigi was very nice and very attentive and he could also speak German. I would recommend it completely and it is a very nice restaurant

10/09/2025: We arrived at around 1:15 p.m. and left at 3 p.m. for only a few pieces of filled bread and tasteless pasta. Already, a 15-minute wait for the menus when there were only 2 tables available... The "bruchetta" are only 2 pieces of toasted bread, well filled however and quite good. But the main course, pasta with shrimp and "ceps", in addition to the wait time (40 minutes) and the ridiculous quantity on the plate, was simply not good. Flabby mushrooms, large hard and grainy pasta, and 4 poor shrimps fighting a duel. With that, a fish of barely 150-200g billed at 300g, with the vegetables of the day at 4€: soggy spinach shoots. All this for over €100 in total Not to mention the waitress who seemed delighted to be there... In short, if you want to be disappointed, go for it.

02/11/2025: As soon as I entered, I was pleasantly captivated by the display of paintings featuring only cats. Supplì, bruschetta with chickpea and cod cream, and potato and cod croquettes were excellent. I prefer Roman-style pizza, but I have to say that the dough on this one, even though it's Neapolitan, is delicious. The Torta della Nonna was very, very good, as was the amaretti semifreddo. Excellent service. The only downside is parking, which is hard to find, but I'll definitely be back; it's worth it.

23/10/2025: The pizza was just great — soft dough, fragrant mushrooms, and perfectly melted cheese. Everything was made carefully, not greasy at all, and you can feel the effort put into it. Service was quick and friendly too, which made the experience even better. I counted the calories using the service mentioned in the photo attached to the review. It turned out super convenient and fast! Highly recommend giving it a try — makes tracking your food and nutrition really simple.

A huge compliment goes to chef Irene, who showcases local products with balanced, creative, and authentically flavorful dishes. Each course was meticulously crafted, not only in flavor but also in presentation. A special thanks to Ilaria, the owner, and the head waiter, who welcomed us with professionalism and kindness: their passion shines through in every attention they give to their guests. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return: a place we recommend to anyone seeking quality, authenticity, and hospitality.
