I visited La Gatta Mangiona and I must say it was a truly positive experience. I had high expectations, given the countless reviews I'd read online, and they were almost all confirmed. I tried several pizzas, and the first thing that struck me was the quality of the dough: light, well-leavened, and easily digestible. It's not the classic thin-crust Roman pizza, but it's not a true Neapolitan one either; it's a very successful middle ground, with a soft crust and top-quality ingredients. The pizzas I tried were all well-topped, with balanced flavors and perfectly cooked. You can tell they put a lot of care into selecting the ingredients. The fried foods are also very good, especially the supplì, crispy on the outside and flavorful on the inside. The place is always very busy, and I recommend booking in advance. The service was quick, and the staff was friendly and helpful, despite the restaurant being full. The prices are slightly above average, but honestly, the quality is evident and justifies the expense. In conclusion, for me, La Gatta Mangiona remains one of the best pizzerias in Rome, perfect for those looking for a gourmet pizza without losing the soul of a true Roman pizzeria.

We were visiting Roma for 3 days and we ate 3 nights in a row at La Gatta Mangiona. It’s a very good restaurant ! They cook classic pizzas but with a twist : berry sauce on a 4 formaggi or lemon on a margherita. It enhances every flavors ! That is unique and humble at the same time. The waiters are extremely nice and they handed us an english menu to help us. We missed ou cat but the decoration made us feel happy !

One of the best pizza's I have had in Rome. You also get very good service as well. We liked the mozza so much we took a margarita to go to have later that night if we got hungry. I have to say it's just as good cold. They also have a nice light tiramisu. If you're around this place TRY it. It's a fun experience and only locals go there and it's packed! You can also watch them cook the pizza in the wood oven which is a plus.

My favorite pizzeria in Rome! A wide selection of pizzas, all truly excellent, with a light and easily digestible dough. The fried foods are also worth a mention: tasty and well-made. The service is impeccable and fast, as is the quality of the pizza. The atmosphere is simpler and less distinctive, but still pleasant. Overall, a place I always love to return to!
