23/08/2025: Excellent restaurant in the center of Bologna. It's well-known among locals, but many tourists continue to frequent it once they've discovered it. This is undoubtedly due to the highly successful choice of offering unconventional dishes, where the chef's skill is combined with the choice of top-quality ingredients. I'd also like to point out the various vegetarian options; the names of the dishes often don't fully describe what's on your plate, so asking the friendly and courteous staff for advice helps you choose from the extensive menu. The atmosphere is modern, elegant, and well-kept. Although there's plenty of seating, I've always found it crowded, so reservations are recommended, even at lunchtime. Well done, keep it up!

13/07/2025: A few months later (we were there in March), I'm leaving a review because I found the photos in the gallery. It was a Saturday and there were only four tables occupied. The place is pleasant, not too chaotic, and the menu is certainly not predictable. The service is attentive, perhaps even a little too attentive. We were served by a very knowledgeable young man, but I find it unnecessary to rush to refill the glass as soon as you see an empty water glass, because if the other diners are talking, it can be annoying. The wine was excellent, and you could sense the attention to detail in the menu. The fregola was good, but we were expecting a classic fregola, not a broth-style one; that wasn't specified on the menu. My boyfriend wanted a gin at the end of the meal, but in a rather nonexistent way, despite having asked for a few gins he liked, he was pushed into choosing a tomato gin, without ice because the waiter told us he prefers it that way. Unfortunately, he couldn't finish it because his glass was taken away with the drink still in it. Good but for me, having heard about it for a while, a bit overrated.

02/07/2025: We followed the advice of a friend of ours and we were so satisfied that we will definitely return! The staff is extraordinary in terms of competence and kindness. The dishes are made with care and great attention to freshness and quality. Niche wine list and extremely knowledgeable sommelier. Really good! Valentina and Antonio.

23/10/2025: A historic restaurant in the city of Arese. Every time we go to Arese, we eat at Cortevecchia. We're very satisfied. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and the food is delicious.

28/09/2025: Ticozzi is number one. They always have fresh bread, you have to go at the right times. I could eat tons of their pizzas! The staff is always friendly and courteous.

28/09/2025: We just had a unique weekend! As soon as we arrived on Vulcano, we rented the legendary Mehari from Paolo and immediately headed to our peaceful oasis on Vulcano Piano! Maria Tindara is the most authentic place you can find on Vulcano! It's outside the port, true, but it's perfectly located halfway between Gelso and the port! The dinner was spectacular, an explosion of flavors! Save room for the desserts because they are incredible and definitely made with love! Gilberto was attentive to our every need, even recommending a truly unique spot with a breathtaking view of the islands and the crater rim to your left—a spot that rivals the climb up the crater the day before, and definitely less tiring! The rooms are simple and authentic, and in the evening you're only accompanied by the chirping of the cicadas! We'll always come back!

25/09/2025: I got takeout pizza while staying at a nearby hotel. It's convenient that they're open late at night. I ordered at the register and they said it would be ready in about 10 minutes, but it was actually pretty quick. The crust was thin and very delicious! 👏👏

22/09/2025: A nice pizzeria that's always very busy! The pizza was good (we tried that, but I saw they also have a wide selection of first courses, second courses, salads, and sandwiches or club sandwiches). The staff was friendly and the prices were reasonable. I'd gladly go back.

10/08/2025: Sometimes you stumble upon a place that makes you feel truly lucky to have found it — this is one of those places! We were looking for somewhere to eat and discovered this restaurant on Google Maps, thanks to the other reviews here. We didn’t have a reservation but decided to try our luck and go anyway. At first glance, the building looks like an ordinary house, but when you walk around the corner, a charming terrace with a pergola appears. We were greeted with a warm welcome and could choose a table outside. The service is on another level: friendly, fast, and authentic. One of the lovely ladies speaks English very well, and the other speaks “hands-and-feet” English just as charmingly 😉. Compliments to both for working so quickly and efficiently, making sure every guest has everything they need. They even offer mosquito spray (which was both much needed and highly effective). A special shout-out to the lady who speaks less English — she works incredibly hard and fast. Thank you! The food is absolutely delicious: handmade pasta, rich flavors, and all at a very reasonable price (€45 for one starter, two main courses, two glasses of wine, a bottle of water, two desserts, and one espresso). The tiramisu was the best we had during our holiday in Italy — simply divine! After paying, we were treated two small shots of liquorice and lemon liqueur. Thank you for giving us such a delightful evening!

18/09/2025: Excellent seafood restaurant, friendly and professional staff, they even seated us without a reservation. Unfortunately, the appetizer was not worth the price for the quantity. The quality of the fish was average but very tasty and well-cooked. I recommend trying it for a pleasant evening.

10/09/2025: A lovely restaurant in Sabaudia with plenty of space for kids. The staff is friendly, quick, and helpful with any needs. The seafood appetizer was exceptionally good and fresh, served with delicious focaccia. Good value considering the area.

The food was delicious, the staff super friendly, and the whole place has such a warm, authentic vibe. Our apartment was big, cozy and full of charm. Everything about our stay was wonderful, and I would come back in a heartbeat. Truly an unforgettable experience in Tuscany! ♥️

23/09/2025: Absolutely a two-Michelin-star dinner. Heinz Beck's sous chef is the chef. The dishes are exceptional, ecstatic. An incredible experience.

18/08/2025: What can I say... A special location, a village on the border between Tuscany and Umbria and Lazio, and the chef was on top of his game like never before in showcasing the local ingredients. The tasting was nothing short of exceptional. Each dish had something unique to offer, even the smallest bite. I would have said it was impossible to rank in order of goodness, because the extremely high quality of the suckling pig, the sea bass, and the scampi were all on par. But alas, all the courses had to capitulate in the face of the foie gras, an absolute masterpiece, an explosion of flavors, textures, and even temperatures, sublime, enhanced by the stellar pairing of the white wine we were offered... When you leave, the only thought is what the autumn menu will be like. Many thanks to the chef, the sommelier, and the entire team, young but truly knowledgeable, unobtrusive yet always present...

The staff is very friendly, the dishes are delicious and prepared with fresh ingredients. You really feel like you're paying a fair price while enjoying a true Italian experience. When you're a tourist in a new country, that's exactly what you're looking for: to discover authentic local cuisine, avoid tourist traps, and fully immerse yourself in the culture.

03/10/2025: Olive oil shrimp pasta and tiramisu were truly incredible. My husband said the Tiramisu was the best he’s ever had. The cacio pepe and crème brûlée were also really good. Was thrilled that we were able to get in early without a reservation for our last night in Rome. Steak and beef dishes were just okay in my opinion.

05/10/2025: We asked if there was a table available, and a very unfriendly woman sent us packing. Everything inside was empty, and it was only just noon.

05/10/2025: Fantastic place, excellent food. We shared a fantastic parmigiana, some truly exquisite bigoli al musso, and a 1/2-pound beef ribeye (perfectly cooked and flavorful) served with mixed roasted vegetables. Highly recommended, but reservations are essential as it's always packed. Perfect place to savor traditional Venetian cuisine in a true osteria.

26/08/2025: I've been frequenting the Bar Trattoria alla Nave "Mami" for years now, and I can confidently say that it's the absolute go-to place for those seeking fresh fish, cooked with respect and simplicity in Marano Lagunare. The quality of the fish has always been excellent, with the freshest ingredients showcased to the fullest thanks to a simple and respectful cuisine. The owner is a wonderful person: attentive, helpful, and always ready to recommend the best options based on the day and the catch. Trust him, you won't go wrong. The real must? The selection of appetizers: raw, warm, and cooked. A journey of flavor that captures the lagoon like few others. If you're looking for authenticity, passion, and fish prepared just right, this is the place. You'll want to come back time and time again. A little tip: book well in advance, especially in the summer; given the restaurant's popularity and (well-deserved) success, it's practically impossible to find a table.
