01/08/2025: Very nice and elegant original Italian villa, surrounded by a nice Italian style garden and swimming pool. The room are spacious, and there is an ancient elegant feeling in them. The breakfast is excellent, special thanks to the head manager Mr. Gasparre for his warm welcome and attention to details.

30/07/2025: Large historic complex with a nice classic interior. Good size new outdoor pool and nice area around the pool. Classic room is a good size and I like it more than the smaller Standard room. There is enough parking. Breakfast was good, but a few years ago the selection was a bit larger. I have to admit that in every hotel where we have had a repeat visit, the breakfast selection has become a bit smaller compared to previous years. 5 minutes drive from Serravalle Outlet. No mirror in the room. No free water in the room, would be very welcome in hot weather. There was only one free socket in the room and it was also broken.

04/09/2025: I had cannelloni and my husband had ravioli - this time. Then tiramisu for dessert. A must! So yummy! It’s our 4th visit to this restaurant! We will be back when we’re in Fabriano. Home cooked fresh food, friendly service and great suggestions on daily specials. Even told us that the broth would not be freshly made because it was summer - it would be a stock-cube broth if we’d wanted that. So appreciate being told exactly what’s in what I’m eating. Great attention to detail!

04/09/2025: Restaurant in the courtyard of palazzi maffei museum. Very nice outside dining with beautifully laid out tables. Very nice choices of food, all just a bit different from the standard italian dishes but still very italian. Wonderful dinner with beautiful subtle taste ( we chose mainly fish dishes). Definitely a place to relax enjoy your meal and the atmosphere as well as the art on the plate.

The location breathes history and elegance, and from the very first dish you know you are about to enjoy something truly special. The flavors are refined, the presentation a feast for the eyes. The staff strikes the perfect balance between professionalism and warmth, making you feel immediately at home. And then the tiramisu… a dream of lightness and flavor, so perfectly balanced that we can say without hesitation: this is the best we have ever tasted. An evening at Maffei is an ode to Italian cuisine, where passion and craftsmanship intertwine in every bite. An unforgettable experience, and a true must for anyone visiting Verona.

04/09/2025: The place has fallen into incredible decline over the years. The food used to be very good, excellent, and the location beautiful. The dishes were well-prepared, balanced, and tasty. Today, all that remains of that memory is the wonderful location, while the menu has gone downhill incredibly: I had pasta with shrimp, pistachio, and basil. It was completely raw, inedible, and very hard. Truly sickening. As I write this review, I'm still drinking a herbal tea to digest it. When the waiter came to ask if everything was okay, I pointed out that the pasta was too undercooked, but he didn't even offer to remake it. He just apologized. Surprise: they even charged me for it, even though I hadn't eaten it (and no one at the counter asked if we'd eaten well). The fish risottos weren't bad, but nothing special. Perhaps those are the only good things. The desserts were sad, disappointing. The bill was very high, the coffee was dull. The decline in quality compared to a couple of years ago is evident. It wasn't even a coincidence: I'd been here for dinner a month ago, and we were all very disappointed, although, back then, there weren't any mistakes (or horrors) like the ones we had tonight. Da Franco is now just a nice place, with a lovely outdoor area and elegant waiters. As for the rest, it's all gone. What a shame! I don't recommend it, as of today.

10/08/2025: Dinner in the garden was a great experience. The relaxed atmosphere was truly unique, and the dishes were delicious and meticulously prepared (some were plated better than others). I highly recommend both desserts in the photos, as well as the rigatoni neri, tuna roast beef, and tagliata!!! And the croissant with mortadella mousse, wow, almost Michelin-starred! The waiters are friendly and helpful, giving you your time for a relaxing, unhurried experience. The price is medium-high, but for the location and food/quality, it's reasonable. We had everything from appetizer to dessert and spent €158 total, including drinks. ONE NOTE: In such a beautiful garden, you should put a smoking ban. Those who want to relax, and especially those who want to focus on the flavors of the dishes, are disturbed if someone smokes at the next table. Electronic cigarettes are fine, but I would put a smoking ban both out of "respect" for the garden and for the experience of others. 🩷🩷🩷🩷

30/08/2025: Excellent restaurant! In Macari, a very quiet village near San Vito lo Capo, we found a place to eat well with a breathtaking view! The busiate Azzurra Makari were delicious! We'll be back!

30/08/2025: We visited Azzura two years ago and it was an amazing experience. The view was astonishing, the food delicious, and the staff very friendly. We were so happy that we went back once more during the same stay. It fully met our expectations, and we even had the chance to congratulate and thank the Chef! We’re looking forward to coming back soon and definitely recommend you to visit it!

07/08/2025: Un piccolo ristorante, dove è necessario prenotare, dove si può gustare del cibo molto ben cucinato e presentato con arte. Sia i primi (zuppe, piatti di pasta, …) sia i secondi (guancia di maialino, pesce spada in crosta, …) sono ottimi al gusto e molto ben presentati. Esperienza ripetuta e da ripetere ancora. Bravi!!!

30/08/2025: I'm so happy I chose Scuderie Cicognani. Ilaria is a wonderful angel in every way. She accompanied me throughout the wedding planning process, immediately understanding my every wish. A rustic yet extremely elegant and simple location... exquisite food 😋, not to mention the cake—someone even made it three times theirs 🤣 I couldn't have chosen better. I found it by chance and it was love at first sight... and despite the bad weather, they still made everything perfect. There wasn't a single thing I would have wanted differently. I wanted a wedding that was exciting, simple, fun, smart, and playful, with excellent timing. It was all this and much more.... Well done everyone 🥰❤️

19/08/2025: A small but cozy establishment in a charming village. A great spot for an excellent lunch. We had the platter with various appetizers, and it was excellent.

14/08/2025: We went for dinner for two, having an appetizer, two first courses, a second course with desert, and two beers. All in all, we spent €75, a great price for fresh seafood. The shrimp cocktail and pasta with mussels and beans were highly recommended, and the fried fish was also good. The staff was welcoming, and you could tell the chef loves his job. We ate deliciously and had a great time!

02/08/2025: Very good, homemade food, a family atmosphere of an Italian osteria where everyone knows each other and greets everyone warmly, and a jug of house white wine at a great price. I'd go there every day.

06/09/2025: We had dinner this evening, September 6th. The place was very nice. The appetizer was very good, the couscous was good but not rich. Everything was just right, the pasta with clams was good. The service was like a restaurant. First of all, there's no wine list, and you don't know what the price is for what you order. We ordered a bottle of Rosé. The appetizer arrived, but not the bottle, so we had to ask for it. When the first courses arrived, I asked for a plate to put the shells in. I'm still waiting for it. Aside from the young waiter, the others were very rude and unprofessional.

25/06/2025: A must-go if you’re in the area. We stayed at the Crowne Plaza and it’s a short work away. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portion size. The owner livens up the atmosphere by a ton and I can tell this place is a joyful one!
