Monkfish with caviar. Tarte tatin. Ice cream made in-house. La Gallina at Villa Sparina earned every one of its stars tonight – and then some. What a gem ✨✨

Second time at La Gallina, and it's always a wonderful experience, certainly for the food and wine, but also for the relaxing atmosphere, the beautiful outdoor area with plenty of tables, a lovely lawn, and a beautiful view. We started with an aperitif outside in the beautiful sunshine, a bottle of 'La Gallina' sparkling wine, a great start 👍🏻 The restaurant is housed in a former barn; the dining room is spacious, bright, and very welcoming. The menu offers traditional Piedmontese dishes with Campanian influences, brought to us by the chef, who delighted us with his local produce. The dishes we tasted were all delicious; I particularly enjoyed the gnocchi with sea urchins and morels and the calamari 🦑 with foie gras. Special mention goes to the butter flavored with Cantabrian anchovies and the pre-dessert, a buffalo mozzarella ice cream with basil granita and extra virgin olive oil. The wine cellar is excellent; in addition to the aperitif, we found a Contratto Blanc de Blanc and a Moët-Chandon Rose. Attentive and professional service.

An enchanting and enchanting place. We had lunch here on Easter Monday, surrounded by a backdrop of hills. Large country-style tables, grilled meat, vegetables, and side dishes, all excellent, top-quality, and plentiful. All with plenty of good wine from Villa Sparina. Top! But the dessert buffet in the cellar was the best. Truly, number one!

Always super-friendly and attentive. The food, it goes without saying, always delivers great flavours and the occasional twist!
