26/05/2026: Found it by chance, asked for a fixed menu for a basketball team of 17 people, we expected something normal, but we were impressed by the dishes they offered us, truly excellent, highly recommend

08/05/2026: The restaurant is located in a unique setting on the Appian Way, between the Basilica and the Catacombs of San Sebastiano, the entrance to the Circus of Maxentius, and the tomb of Cecilia Metella. Inside, the restaurant is beautifully appointed with refined furnishings and ambiance. The tables are elegantly decorated. The menu offers both seafood and meat dishes. This time, I chose a meat-based dinner menu with a delicious beech-flavored Scottona Tartare, a Béarnaise sauce, and crispy seeds as an appetizer. For my main course, I opted for a fantastic Duck Breast with leeks, hazelnuts, and miso mayonnaise. To finish, a beautiful dessert: yogurt mousse, salted caramel, and mandarin sauce. Very delicate. The staff is courteous and friendly. Very attentive. The price, €60-70, is appropriate for both the elaborate and refined dishes and the beautiful location. Considering it's only 2 km from home, I'll be back!

29/04/2026: The location is beautiful, the portions are average, and sufficient. The appetizer (octopus in tomato sauce) was good, and the first and second courses were ordinary. Prices are high.

18/05/2026: Excellent restaurant with typical Apulian dishes. The eggplant and mozzarella appetizer was more than enough for two people. The orriechete with polpete and tomato sauce was excellent. The homemade tiramisu was very good. The restaurant's dining room is very pleasant with soft music and impeccable service.

04/10/2025: Incredibly friendly and service-oriented staff, very keen to ensure we had a good experience. The food was very good, but on the more expensive side and (compared to other restaurants in the area) small portions. However, the taste was incredible, and outweighed the quantity of food.

The owner and his wife are truly unique, making you feel like family, as is Mauro, the waiter. Everyone is polite and attentive, practically perfect. Let's move on to the food. Oh my god, everything was excellent, as you can see from the dishes. It's truly a place to stop if you're passing through Giovinazzo. My sincere thanks to Mimmo, Angela, and Mauro for the service we received, a truly unique experience. UNIQUE!

31/05/2026: We went to this restaurant yesterday to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. What can I say? It's a very elegant restaurant, with attentive and polite staff and delicious food. If you're near Lecce, I highly recommend it!

29/05/2026: We originally wanted to dine at the restaurant across the street, but unfortunately we were unable to get a reservation, so we decided to try this restaurant instead. We ordered a combination of the four-course tasting menu (€50 per person) and were extremely disappointed with both the food quality and the overall experience. Shortly after the meal, we became sick. As a professional chef from California, I was particularly concerned about the quality and freshness of the seafood. The tuna showed signs of discoloration that suggested it was no longer fresh, and the shrimp tasted as if it had expired. It felt as though ingredients left over from the previous day were being served to guests. When our pasta course arrived, we decided not to continue with the meal and informed the staff that we wished to leave. Rather than addressing our concerns professionally, the owner approached us in an aggressive and unprofessional manner. Despite our dissatisfaction, I still paid half of the bill as a gesture of fairness. A restaurant’s response to customer concerns is just as important as the food itself. Instead of becoming confrontational, a simple apology and an effort to resolve the situation would have been appreciated. Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I have had in Italy, and I cannot recommend this restaurant.

17/04/2026: Food was great and service was amazing. We had no reservation and came late but they welcomed us and were very friendly. They were quite busy so we really appreciated it. Gnocchi is clearly homemade and they definitely do not skimp on portion sizes. Unfortunately we couldn’t finish but it was amazing and definitely worth the price. It’s a little local traditional italian spot so not a huge menu but it’s really nice.
