23/08/2025: This is a wonderful little restaurant near the basilica. We had pasta dishes which were uniformly well made. It was cheap compared to some in town and it was exactly what we were looking for. It seemed popular with the locals.

20/08/2025: Very warm welcome: the staff adapts to our language as best they can and with a smile. The dishes (especially the pasta) are recommended. Don't hesitate to try the unusual spritzes.

02/09/2025: Beautiful location, lunch outside in a lovely, well-kept garden. Excellent, well-aged meat paired with a good glass of wine. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly, and the owner was a bit over the top. We'll definitely be back.

11/08/2025: Great place. Elegant but not cloying. The waiters were empathetic and knowledgeable, especially the sommelier. The cellar, housed in an ancient Christian catacomb, is worth a visit. See photo. After two Franciacorta bubbles, we ordered Mediterranean spaghetti, ravioli with osso buco and a Parmesan and asparagus mousse. Then came Iberian and Black Angus suckling pig with friatielli. For dessert, a spectacular ginseng ganache with peanut ice cream. Very beautiful location. Prices are high, but not excessive. I definitely recommend it.

03/09/2025: The bread, the culatello, and the Joseph wine from Hofstatter were excellent, all not made by them!!!!! ... the stew had the scallop with an old taste, the vertical trio had the salmon inedible, even the presentation was sad and dull, but above all the insecurity of eating raw fish of dubious origin and quality... the tagliolini with bottarga, lobster, nduja (which could not be removed because it was already in the sauce???!!!!) It tasted of fish glutamate powder and butter... the fillet al porto was not fillet... anyway, tough and flavorless meat! I recommend simpler and more honest cuisine... We won't be back and I don't recommend it as soon as I walked in I could smell the canteen smell!!!! The list of restaurants with an artificial idea of ​​​​cuisine is growing!

05/09/2025: Pietro was our server and provided the most excellent service. The food was exceptional and truly authentic. The house made gnocchi took me back to my Italian roots sitting in my grandmas kitchen. My husband had the seafood pasta and agreed some of the best he’s had. The atmosphere was quaint and pride is taken in this restaurant. A must while in Venice!

05/08/2025: Restaurant at the foot of the city gate On a pilgrimage to Rome, we stopped at this restaurant for dinner. The dishes were tasty and excellent. The tagliata in particular was incredibly tender and flavorful. The price was fair. Highly recommended.

10/08/2025: Restaurant in the square near Negrar Hospital, a 2-minute walk away. The owner is very friendly. Delicious food, from starters to main courses to dessert. I recommend the Amarone risotto. Prices are reasonable. Clean atmosphere.

06/08/2025: EDIT: Returned after two years in 2025 and I confirm the old review. 🔝 The food was very good, a carefully chosen menu and perfectly cooked. The owner was extremely friendly, worked well and made you feel at ease. Highly recommended.

28/07/2025: Spontaneous lunch here after a morning at the lake. It looked fancy so we were nervous about being in lake attire. We were welcomed though and seated inside (if you want to sit outside, reserve a table). Our goal was a quick pasta. A nice, appropriate menu plus an outside menu with in season plates. I love it! We ordered pasta. It was perfect. Cooked, flavored, and served beautifully. We also tried the sangria which was amazing, and potato starter. We enjoyed everything. The restaurant is clean and lovely with a great view. The staff was friendly; the owner was active and made a point to chat with every table. We did pay a hefty €80 for lunch but we agreed, it was worth it. We will definitely eat here again and recommend to others.

12/09/2025: Excellent food: the gratinated scallops appetizer was delicious, the artisanal fregula was spectacular and incredibly tasty (the best we had in ALL of Sardinia!!!), excellently prepared, with fresh, quality ingredients, and the catch of the day was truly delicious (a grilled sea bream, cleaned very well by the waiter at our table!). The service was friendly, helpful, and impeccable. Their myrtle is the best I've ever had in Sardinia! Everything was so good that we only thought about eating and not taking photos.
