I always recommend this place to everyone because they've never disappointed me. Be wary of any negative comments; I live an hour away from Florence and am here almost every day for work, and I can confirm that Ristorante Pizzeria Canto De' Nelli is the best you'll find in central Florence. 22/07/2025: We enjoyed our food at this restaurant. It was in the city of florence which can be reached by walking there or taking the bus. The restaurant has specially set up watersprays for this hot weather. That was so cooling and was the best part of the restaurant. If you want an italian restaurant with an cooling setting, then this is the right place. Go and enjoy 😉

01/08/2025: If I could add more stars, I would! It's been a while since I've eaten so well. Today, my husband and son went to this beautiful osteria. Finally, nothing fake, touristy, or artificial... Just excellent food, masterfully prepared. We ordered appetizers, and our taste buds were already awakening. Then came a first course of tagliatelline with rabbit and asparagus, which was so good I didn't want anything else. I wanted to preserve that flavor as long as possible. My husband also ordered dessert and coffee (even the coffee was excellent, which is not a given). And then there was the friendliness of the ladies who welcomed us in the dining room. Beautiful, friendly, and generous. This will be our go-to place in Pisa, and we hope to return as soon as possible. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts... and from the bottom of my heart.

24/08/2025: We went to this Caverna with fairly high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience turned out to be extremely disappointing. We ordered two platters of cured meats and cheeses, but were served a single platter, billed as a "two-in-one." We then ordered five steaks, which they claimed were heifer steaks, but the quality didn't seem up to par at all. Furthermore, the cooking was completely incorrect: the meat arrived practically raw and looked more boiled than grilled. The accompanying baked potatoes were also raw. We reported the problems and sent the dishes back, but not only were they not collected from the table, they even made us pay for them. To top it all off, the service was extremely slow and decidedly unprofessional. I strongly advise against this place.

20/08/2025: I made a reservation on the Fork app because it was recommended by the Michelin Guide. As soon as I walked through the door in the crowded alley, I felt like I was transported to a cozy space with jazz music playing. (I tend to dislike crowded restaurants where I have to eat without thinking.) The restaurant isn't very large, but since they only accept reservations, it wasn't crowded, which was nice. The staff was very friendly. The truffle pasta was also delicious. The service, atmosphere, and taste were all satisfactory. For lunch, a truffle pasta, a glass of Prosecco, a bottle of water, and dessert cost around €50.

16/08/2025: Overall, a positive experience. The food was good, except that we chose the truffle tasting menu. There were three courses plus dessert. The small portions didn't fill us up much, so we added a cheese plate. The service was good, and the atmosphere was quiet.

08/08/2025: This old-fashioned restaurant is definitely recommended. Excellent cuisine, with attention to both ingredients and detail. We ordered two first courses and a fried dish with broccoli rabe. To finish, we had crêpe suzette and tiramisu. Everything was delicious. Impeccable service. Truly friendly. We'll definitely be back.

16/08/2025: Good, medium-sized dishes that are filling. The service was quick and courteous, except for one rude waiter who made a nasty joke. I advise him to tone it down and be more kind, polite, and professional: qualities necessary for working with the public.
