26/07/2025: We ate seafood throughout our stay in Rome, but this restaurant had the best. I highly recommend the chef's special. The food was delicious and fresh, and the atmosphere was lovely.

06/09/2025: Not a good experience, perhaps our worst dinner of our two week vacation in Italy. None of the previous photos reflected what we ordered. The entrecôte came with French fries not the round potatoes, cheapening the dish. The mixed seafood pasta sauce had a strange consistency and fishy smell, albeit no stomach issues and everything under seasoned. Two rounds of drinks both came after our courses leading to strange timing. One of the staff couldn’t understand English at all when we asked about our drinks and for follow up during the meal. Lots of broken glass and yelling towards the kitchen. Asked for service gratuity at end on top of cover charge. Hope this was an off night for the restaurant but certainly felt like they lost their way or something was not normal.

03/09/2025: On a small square, accessible via narrow alleys and a few steps, you'll find this classic restaurant. A very friendly welcome, a good menu, and delicious dishes. Perfectly located away from the hustle and bustle!

28/08/2025: Not recommended, the pizza prosciutto funghi with canned mushrooms. The special pizza with basil, cherry tomatoes, and buffalo mozzarella was just pizza bread with cheese and a few tomatoes thrown on top.

25/08/2025: Friendly and attentive service. The place is clean and tidy, with a lovely outdoor area and a singer. The food presentation was excellent. We had pizzoccheri served on a very distinctive plate, and Haidi's grandfather's tagliolini, which were delicious, made with pancetta and parmesan shavings, tomatoes, and radicchio. The fruit salad with ice cream was truly rich in fruit. Prices were average.

23/08/2025: We visited this restaurant this evening, my first time there, and it was a pleasant surprise, not only for the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail, but also for the delightful welcome "tagliatelle" (a small piece of tagliatelle)—a truly classy touch. The skewer was truly spectacular, perfectly cooked, and accompanied by a lemon and bay leaf "salina" that gave the game just the right acidity, giving it that extra something. I would have loved to try all the desserts, but I was intrigued by the Braulio sorbet, which was truly remarkable. Well, I'd say we have all the ingredients, at least for us, to give it a full 5 stars, with further compliments to Chef Luca and the entire staff. I can't wait to return!

15/08/2025: I’ve been all over Italy, but the award for rudest person goes to the lady at the bar/cash counter. The pizza was good, but her attitude? That’s what I’ll really remember. And it’s not just customers her colleagues got the same “special treatment” too.

03/09/2025: We arrived last night for dinner at Osteria del Manzo without a reservation. The owner welcomed us kindly, immediately securing two seats outside. He was a man whose kindness and friendliness impressed us. The staff and waitresses were friendly, courteous, and professional, and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. The food was truly amazing: a beef tartare with an AUTHENTIC flavor and a steak that melted in your mouth! The prices were very fair, in our opinion. An endless selection of wines, including rosé. Real bitters, just the way I like them (Unicum and Braulio). I'll be back every time I'm in Lucca!

27/08/2025: A pleasant setting and a good restaurant specializing in meats/offal with an extensive wine list. The diaphragm was very good, as was the vitello tonnato. Note that the octopus is fried. Preferably eat outside, but reservations are recommended. Overall, good value for money with courteous and pleasant service.

06/09/2025: The food, the service, and the very well-kept venue. There may have been a bit of a wait between courses, but I think that was due to the fact that the dishes are elaborate and made to order. A truly excellent experience.

03/09/2025: I recently had the pleasure of having lunch at Osteria al Melograno and I must say that it was a truly memorable experience. Since our arrival, we were greeted by impeccable service, with particular thanks to Assunta, who proved to be extremely professional and friendly, making us feel at ease and pampered throughout the meal. The menu we chose was a real delight for the palate. We started with an appetizer that tickled our taste buds, followed by a first course that left us speechless with its freshness and flavor. The main courses were equally delicious, accompanied by sides of baked potatoes and sweet and sour onions which were simply fantastic. To end on a high note, we couldn't give up a dessert, which closed our lunch in a sublime way. Each dish was prepared with high quality ingredients and evident care, a sign of the passion that permeates the Osteria al Melograno. In summary, if you are looking for a restaurant in Cremona where you can enjoy delicious dishes in a welcoming environment and with excellent service, Osteria al Melograno is absolutely not to be missed. We will definitely be back to try other delicacies.

24/08/2025: Good restaurant with a nice atmosphere and very kind, helpful staff. Valentino was the best waitress I’ve met so far—attentive, friendly, and professional. The steak was tender and delicious, and the wine recommended by the staff (I had no idea what to choose myself) turned out to be excellent. To top it off, we were offered a complimentary wine at the end, which was a really sweet gesture.

23/06/2025: Pleasant location and close to the sea, very attentive and precise staff, the menu includes both sea and land with a particular eye on Sardinian cuisine, excellent spaghetti with shellfish and crustaceans, fregola and very good grilled fish but also other things that I won't tell you, go and try...

19/08/2025: I came back here after a very long time, and the only thing we all liked was... the bread on top of the mussels... The portions were tiny, and the raw food was almost nonexistent. But I was told the fried food was good (I don't eat fried food).

18/08/2025: I've been going to Stefano's for at least 20 years and have always had a good experience. Good food and fresh ingredients are the order of the day. However, since he changed locations, he's been trying to transform many of his dishes into "nouvelle cuisine." I've honestly been disappointed, especially with the appetizers. You can't serve such small portions that you can't even taste what you're eating (not to mention the price). That's the only flaw, so if you want good fish-based first courses and second courses, the quality is still low. I strongly recommend not ordering appetizers; you'll be disappointed. Prices are medium to high.
