18/05/2025: Well-kept restaurant, with a very quiet and private atmosphere. Well-stocked and varied menu, excellent selection of pizzas. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and professional.
We had the pizza, honestly... Very good, we will definitely go back to eat it.

13/06/2025: English: We stayed at this property to celebrate an anniversary. The first thing to highlight is certainly the courtesy and helpfulness of the staff from the first telephone call. The farmhouse is located on a hill surrounded by greenery and silence and nature. The rooms are spacious, modern and extremely clean. Special mention for the spa service: a small oasis of luxury and wellness for exclusive use for an entire hour, with a hydromassage tub, emotional shower, sauna and a fabulous welcome of prosecco and fresh fruit. The spa is glassed in but located in a separate area from the rest of the property. Privacy is also guaranteed by a small garden that separates it from the pool area, a tastefully and elegantly fenced entrance and the possibility of using sliding curtains. Privacy is guaranteed in any case and, if left open, you can appreciate a beautiful view of the splendid infinity pool (access to which is free for guests of the property) and the large valley below. We also enjoyed half-board accommodation, with dinner and breakfast included. Delicious meals and a wide variety of choice. Abundant breakfast with both sweet and savory options. Truly excellent value for money: it has rightfully earned a place among the favorite places to certainly return to.
02/06/2025: This place is a hidden gem, and we have enjoyed every single moment around. It starts with the people, all kind! The location overseeing the beautiful surroundings is great. The facilities amazing, as I have used their pool every late afternoon to relax after some intense walking days. The food at the breakfast contains fresh local stuff, of which several homemade tortas. And after checkout I also bought their homemade olive oil and marmalade. All absolutely recommended!

10/06/2025: A top-notch cozy restaurant with a perfect hostess who gives you a feeling of coming home. We ordered sliced beef and it was as tender as butter. The olive oil that we got with it was, as the hostess said, of top quality. In short, it was perfect and promised on our Belgian souls that we would come back two days. Without a doubt.

24/06/2025: Borgo Egnazia is undeniably breathtaking, the architecture is spectacular, the grounds are immaculate, and the entire property is designed like a dream. It’s one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever seen, and there’s no doubt it has a unique charm.
A special mention goes to Patrizia, who served us at breakfast every morning with a big smile, thoughtful recommendations, and warm energy. She truly stood out and was a beautiful way to start our days.
That said, the overall service and ambiance fell well below 5-star standards. The hotel feels flat and lacks the warmth, attentiveness, and energy you’d expect from a luxury property. It’s extremely quiet, which may suit some, but it felt lifeless and impersonal during our stay.
We encountered several issues:
• Our shower was blocked the entire week. We mentioned it twice, and nothing was done. A technician only came the day before we left, and the issue still wasn’t résolves. There was no follow-up, no apology, just indifference, which was quite surprising at this level.
• No conditioner in the shower, again, for a hotel of this standard, it’s a basic amenity. I brought my own, but still had to ask, which shouldn’t be the case.
• Daily inconsistencies: one night an amenity kit was missing, another day the minibar wasn’t restocked, the next there were no teas. These small things add up when you expect consistency and seamlessness.
• I had booked a cooking class at the start of the stay, specifically for pasta, the only one I was interested in. I was told it would be Monday, all confirmed, then the day before I was informed it would no longer be possible as someone had booked it privately. Again, no attempt to make up for it, just another sign of disorganization and lack of care.
Overall, Borgo Egnazia is worth seeing once, but more for its visual beauty than the experience. I’d suggest staying 1 to 3 nights max and treating it like a peaceful design retreat, not a full-service luxury resort. Sadly, the magic of the place is not matched by the service behind it.

30/06/2025: A hidden gem. Friendly family restaurant tucked back just off the main street. Staff made everyone very welcome. Good choice of food. Traditional pizza and pasta. We opted for the spaghetti carbonara and it was lovely. Reasonably priced. Would highly recommend

10/06/2025: A small family run restaurant with a few outdoor tables We found this on google reviews. It is middle of a street with lots of restaurants. We had a shared appetizer and then had fish and prawns for main course. , I used google translate as I wanted a blush glass of wine, the waitress recommended a perfect bottle. The restaurant was full inside and out. Mainly seafood, and pasta dishes, Highly recommended

03/06/2025: I went to this restaurant on the recommendation of locals who said I would eat excellent meat. Honestly, I found it good but not excellent, and to have a Florentine roast I waited 50 minutes. Unacceptable times considering there were very few people at the tables.

09/06/2025: I was with a group of 20 people, 10 adults and 10 children. We warned that we would be in a hurry and the staff was super helpful and super fast! In addition to having extreme patience with all the children, they were really very welcoming and attentive with us adults too! Excellent food!! Bright, clean and welcoming environment! And absolutely affordable price!
09/06/2025: We were there today, 10 adults and 10 children, we found maximum availability and kindness having asked for speed as we had an exam ... everything perfect, very good and even ahead of schedule!! Friendly and helpful staff in everything, absolutely reasonable price, very clean and well-kept premises and bathrooms!!
Even when it came to the bill, the owner thought of a flat rate divided by full menu, half menu and children's price, thus removing us from that annoying impasse for the divisions, who took what etc!
Professionals in everything!! Thank you very much, see you next time
