21/07/2024: We ate here 2/3 days because it was so good! Authentic, very tasty food! Great value for money too! We miss it and will definitely come back next time we visit Milan!

18/07/2024: We went here based on the good reviews, we were very disappointed with our trip. The staff are very unfriendly, we even witnessed the main waiter arguing with multiple customers. The atmosphere was dire, it was get you in, get you fed and get you out as quickly as possible. The food was okay but there are many much nicer, friendly and tastier restaurants around.

09/08/2024: I returned today after thirty years, and confirmed all the wonderful memories I had of this place. Exceptional food, very nice location and lots of kindness. The first courses with porcini mushrooms and truffles are exceptional but the rabbit in porchetta is unbeatable!! Compliments!!

08/08/2024: Excellent local cuisine, truly 5 stars; hospitality service variety value for money. It's a pleasure to travel and still find places managed like this. Unfortunately always off the beaten track and in rare regions.

05/08/2024: We are a group of 9. We stay in Milan for just 2 nights and this is the only place for our dinner. Excellent service, great food! Highly recommend the seafood pasta which was ideal for sharing! Tiramisu is fantastic as well.

03/08/2024: Truly excellent pizza, size and flavour. You can choose the height of the pasta and whether it is wholemeal or normal. The menu is also well stocked with first courses and starters. The place is nice and nice and the staff girl is smiling and friendly

28/07/2024: Delicious pizzas! Even the gluten-free one! Fast and impeccable service! Excellent cheesecake! We will definitely be back. The waitress is wonder woman!

28/07/2024: It seems like a hidden gem from the outside and as an unsuspecting tourist, I wondered in without expecting much. The service was good, the recommended wine was tasteful and whole-bodied. Props to them, as I let them choose the wine and they didn't go for the higher end of the menu but rather the lower end. The appetizers overall were decent, the carpaccio was really good. The pasta, on the other hand, was overly salty for my taste. It was too much for me personally, although I'm sure others prefer it that way. I wouldn't return but wouldn't want to discourage anyone from making your own mind up. It was just not for me. Reminder for tourists: Italians eat late, don't get here just around opening time. It's too early for the true experience.

17/08/2024: What a wonderfully cool place to have lunch... during our cycling holiday from Onderweegs we came across Osteria Umberto. The salad with pear, tomato cheese, honey and celery was a big 10, delicious, then the ravioli with truffle was so delicious. Enjoyed very nice service

16/08/2024: I think it's quite difficult to find a place where you don't eat well in these areas... anyway we had a good time at Umberto's... traditional dishes and obviously a very extensive wine list...

24/07/2024: Delicious restaurant with an broad menu of sea food specialties and a nice wine selection. If you make reservations, you can ask to sit directly by the sea, enjoying the beautiful scenery while indulging in their delicious food. One of the best Tiramisu’s I’ve every had (many ;)

20/08/2024: excellent, clean and comfortable hotel with motorbike parking adjacent to the structure and very close to the escalators to get to the city centre, I highly recommend it

20/08/2024: I went through Smartbox pleasant escapes (costing over €400) for 2 nights with 2 dinners for 2 people with 3 courses. Great location hotel with nice, clean rooms. The problem occurred with dinner on the first day... during check in we were not informed that the hotel restaurant was closed... at the time of dinner they directed us to nearby restaurants... The problem is that due to a misunderstanding between the hotel and the restaurant I had to argue with the restaurateur in order to have what was then a right... that is, being able to choose on the menu... If I hadn't insisted I would have had to settle... If hotels don't want to support smartboxes... they shouldn't enter into agreements... Or that they are clearer... so as not to create problems for anyone. Second evening, however, all was well in the restaurant hotel. To be honest, I have just been contacted by the hotel manager who wanted to ascertain what had happened and apologised. So honor!!!

26/08/2024: Everything was superlative, from the service to the friendliness and availability of the staff. Each dish has its own story, and the staff lovingly tells about each dish. A gem of Puglia!

29/08/2024: We were looking for a place to eat near San Juan de Letrán and we tried this restaurant. Although it is not exactly one of the cheapest, but the truth is that the quality of the food deserved it. The pasta was delicious, as were the desserts and salad. The waiter was very attentive and helpful at all times.

26/08/2024: Very tasty and kind. Perhaps because it was Sunday or because it had just opened, we were the only ones there, so I was nervous. I could only eat one appetizer, one risotto, and one cacio e pepe. Your stomach will be 120% full. I wanted to eat more though. Sorry 🙏

02/08/2024: I NEVER leave reviews, but Saporium Firenze may be one of the top twenty restaurants in the world right now. As someone who has eaten at hundreds of Michelin starred restaurants, and as a former restaurant owner myself, believe me when I say the tastings menus are Michelin 3 star. The vegetarian tasting is stunning (they do not force the entire table to have the same tasting menu, bravo). The menus balance savory with unique sources of acidity and sourness (fermentations, etc…) to create perfect harmony, sadly lacking at many places. The food is neither too heavy nor too ethereal. Both tasting menus we had were mistake free. Front of the house is perfect, charming, warm, and thoughtful. Wine list is massive and has a few hidden gems at reasonable prices (heavy on the Italian selection as you would guess but hey, drink local). If you are looking for modern creative italian fine dining with a soul still intact then just go. Seriously. Just go. You don’t need to know more.
