18/06/2025: Very fresh fish and also well presented, Excellent Return to this welcoming restaurant in the historic center of Lecce under Porta San Biagio, simple and well prepared food, Excellent quality of fish as well as table service by Stefano and Andrea friendly and reliable, really very convenient quality/price ratio, to try if you are in Lecce, compliments to everyone. Excellent quality of extra virgin olive oils. We will return soon. Compliments highly recommended.

05/06/2025: We were staying in a hotel nearby and saw that this restaurant was completely full in the evening. The next day we had lunch here and that was a good idea! Really delicious food. Good menu and also good wine list. Service top!

26/06/2025: A real surprise! A wonderful location, with a green and well-kept garden that makes the atmosphere truly special. We went for the Thursday aperitif and I recommend it to everyone: excellent cocktails, tasty proposals and a relaxed but well-kept environment. The quality of the raw materials is very high, and you can taste it in every dish. All at more than honest prices, which is rare nowadays! A place where I will definitely return. Highly recommended.

13/06/2025: What can I say, it was a real disappointment! It may have been the high expectations that were mentioned in the lonely planet guide but it was a disappointing experience. The place was always full (characteristic but where you have to go down a ladder and change the air with fans, however it wasn't hot-June), we tried three times and we managed to eat only by booking a day in advance, but this can be normal, and it promised well. The service was polite but detached, hasty and unclear: basically the request for advice or information was not useful, so we threw ourselves on a classic "Paranza" and house white wine, or rather "frittura di paranza e calamari" with the idea that if you like it you get something else, I was curious about the gnocchi allo stoccafisso but I didn't understand what the waiter was telling me (maybe it depends on whether you like it). "Supermarket" bread (sliced ​​in a rather bulky paper bag on the table), good house wine but served covered with dark bottle-covering bags to keep the cold that I have never tolerated. Fried, I would say mostly calamari, the little fish present seemed fresh and good, overall however, compared to the average, it leaves a greasy sensation that is not pleasant on the palate. While we were eating, the waiter put two napkins on the table for us to clean our hands and we wondered if it was an invitation to finish or a kindness done at the wrong time: usually it is brought at the end of the course or at the end of the meal with the bill. In short, for a fish "osteria" in a seaside place it seems to me that its "vocation" is not yet clear, it is excellent to have a limited number of courses to guarantee quality but service (3 euros), quality and information must then be consistent: the note at the end of the menu on the possible use of frozen products in the absence of fresh products is very bad, better simply not to propose it when there are no fresh products. At first sight, the appetizers/dishes that passed did not inspire or attract us. Not convinced or satisfied, we did not order anything else (about 60 euros in all): I repeat, judgment of a single experience but I cannot recommend it. Thanks anyway: the reservation by email was kind, quick and convenient.

08/06/2025: Excellent seafood restaurant in Sirolo. Excellent fish soup. Fast and professional service. Good value for money. I would have given 5 stars if the restaurant had outside tables.

04/06/2025: It is now customary to celebrate 02/06, our wedding anniversary, in the beautiful city of Gaeta, enjoying the delicious dishes of the restaurant La Salute with a view of the sea: seafood salad, sautéed mussels and clams, paccheri allo scoglio, mixed grill of fish... All exceptional... And to finish a fantastic lemon sorbet. Always great professionalism and friendliness of Ugo, now become our great friend!!! 20/06/2025: refined dishes that start from excellent local raw materials and combinations of coastal tradition to reinterpret them with creativity! The location alone would be worth the experience (a platform covered by curtains directly on the seashore with a sunset view), but the affability and promptness of the service, the relaxing aesthetics of the furnishings and uniforms, the right choice of music, a good wine list with young local labels and, last but not least, the excellent gastronomic proposal make Verricello a place to return to every summer. I'm sorry that the photos don't do the place justice but honestly we were too busy enjoying the dishes and the atmosphere!

19/06/2025: Honestly I didn't eat badly but not very well either, some dishes were really good like the appetizers, as a first course I ordered gnocchi with mussels but they were very soupy. The wine was excellent, the service too too slow despite there being very few open tables. A restaurant with unexpressed potential, it can do better!

03/07/2025: Best meal we had in Rome, pizza was AMAZING, feels a good mix of Tourist and Locals, great value, service was a bit slow for the bill but was due to how busy they were!

08/06/2025: Family-run restaurant, particular environments inside, and also outside, with large round tables under a large pergola. Interesting dishes offered, including the fried "pessetti" (fry) increasingly difficult to find, which I tried and was excellent and abundant. The service of the staff, friendly, fast and cordial and the price average, given the fairly sophisticated menu. I will have to return to try other interesting dishes on the menu 👍well done 👏, I recommend booking.

06/06/2025: We were told to wait 20-30 minutes for a table. After 45 minutes a group which came a few minutes after us with no reservation as well, were asked to the first available table before us. After asking for an explanation the server told us that if we don't want to wait any more we don't have to and lied that the group had a reservation (even though we clearly heard they arrived with no reservation, same as us). We sure did not wait anymore. Very poor customer service. The waiter was completely unserious and rude. No need to waste our time in the first place. They prioritised group was of course italian, so we were not really suprised to see that they were favoured, but still very dissapointing to see people being sorted based on their nationality. No issue with not getting a table without a reservation but extremely poor customer service and communication.
