12/10/2025: This is a great restaurant with an incredible location right next to the lake. The food is excellent and the lemon ravioli has deservedly been on the menu for 25 years. We had eaten here 15 years ago and were charmed by the friendly staff and great location; this visit was equally wonderful.

07/10/2025: We had an excellent experience at this restaurant. We went the day before to put a reservation in (you cannot walk in - you must have a reservation). Being right on the water is a great way to spend dinner. It was peaceful and a beautiful setting. The food was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed every bite. Definitely recommend getting to the restaurant if you are in Sala Comacina.

20/10/2025: Sunday lunch with the wife, beautiful location in the Arezzo countryside, excellent service, traditional Tuscan dishes (delicious) with a modern twist and beautifully presented. The hostess was very kind and smiling. High-quality ingredients cooked with care, and the wine list is carefully selected from local ingredients. Excellent.

From the very first bite, it was clear: this isn't just plain pasta – it's pure magic on a plate. The aroma, the texture, the flavor – everything perfectly balanced. The pecorino melted with the velvety egg yolk to create a sauce that wrapped itself around the rigatoni like silk, while the guanciale, with its delicate seasoning, enhanced every bite. I had to close my eyes to truly experience this moment – ​​it was so heavenly, intense, and perfect. The service and ambiance were also outstanding – warm, professional, and simply a place where you feel at home. But the focus is clearly on this dreamy Rigatoni Carbonara, which you simply have to try at least once in your life. A culinary experience you'll never forget – simply divine and absolutely recommended!

12/10/2025: Because it's in front of the fish section, the whole store has a cold feel. The food is very expensive but the portions are very small. I was surprised that the nearly 20€ platter was only the size of an appetizer. The salad was 12€, but it was worse than the vegetables you can buy for 1€ at the supermarket. The flavor was bland, so I wouldn't recommend it.

12/10/2025: I've been a customer for years and I gave it a 5....the food is still very much appreciated, but I have to complain about the treatment I received yesterday. I had spaghetti with clams for lunch. When asked how it went, I reported that I had found 10 closed clams, almost half of those on my plate. The waitress said she'd report it to the kitchen, and in any case, it was obvious because I'd left them on my plate, separating them from the shells of the consumed ones. I expected a word or an apology, but no one showed up. It was toward the end of the lunch hour, so it can't be said they were overwhelmed with service, given the few tables already occupied. I was very disappointed. I didn't expect this from a place I love and have been frequenting regularly for years.

It's without a doubt the best restaurant we've been to since the beginning of our stay in Puglia. And what about the welcome? 24/08/2025: Highly recommended, located a few kilometers from the lake in a very quiet area overlooking the mountains. We stayed two nights at this hotel. In my opinion, it fully deserves a 4-star rating. We were welcomed by the very kind staff. The room for two had an extra-large, extremely comfortable double bed. The bathroom had an extra-large shower. Their cleanliness and order are undeniable. The breakfast was excellent, both sweet and savory, served both outside and in their elegant and well-kept dining room. We didn't enjoy their dinner because the staff was on vacation, but judging by the menu and photos, the dinner should have been excellent as well. What can I say? A wonderful experience, thank you very much.

20/08/2025: We stayed here for a week and really enjoyed our time. The hotel is small with a warm, homely atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was cleaned daily and was always spotless and comfortable. Breakfast had the classic Italian selection, which was simple but tasty. Parking was convenient, and the train station is just a few minutes away, making it easy to get around. Overall, a lovely place to stay.

21/10/2025: Without a doubt, the best restaurant in the Rivisondoli-Pescocostanzo-Roccaraso area. Excellent food, impeccable service, and attentive, courteous, and fun staff. The price is reasonable for the quality. Reservations are recommended, as seating is limited. We'll be happy to return.

20/10/2025: A bad experience, starting with the wine... we ordered two glasses and were brought an open bottle and a closed one with a different flavor. We pointed this out to the owner, who looked annoyed and replied that she had opened it at noon. We then received an appetizer of cured meats and cheeses, which was quite good... the worst was with the first courses: we ordered pappardelle with truffles and they arrived drowned in cream... incredible!!! They were inedible. My other first course was a large bucatini with pecorino cheese, completely flavorless and with tons of oil. At that point, we decided to ask for the bill and leave. It was a shame because the place was very nice... but now we understand why it's called AL GIOCONDO!!!

11/10/2025: Alessandro and Alessandra have always been my go-tos. And not just for the varied raw fish dishes unlike anywhere else in the world. The location is enchanting, the staff is exceptionally friendly, and the owners often come to the table to check the opinions of those enjoying their dishes. The wine list is amazing. If there is a God of Taste, then he lives here.

Ma tutto il resto del menù è veramente gustoso. Personale gentile e professionale, locale accogliente e conto assolutamente proporzionato.

12/10/2025: I came without reservation and it was full booked. Luckely the Team put effort to find a solution and we ate there. It was amazing the food and the ambiente was stunning. The food is so tasty and the cats there are lovely. The whole team served us very well especially Antonio and Alessia i felt very comfortable. Thank you so much :)
