06/10/2025: Unfortunately, I have to give a terrible review about the service. I ordered the pizza for 8:00 PM, but it hadn't been delivered yet. Unfortunately, I was forced to send the delivery driver back when he arrived. The pizza is very good, but the service is terrible.

15/12/2025: *Unfortunately, a negative experience.* I returned to the place after more than two years, this time for a simple aperitif, and found it under new management. The two Aperol Spritzes served were basically just Aperol and ice: a complete lack of bubbles, no trace of sparkling wine or soda. The result, unfortunately, had nothing to do with a Spritz. The cold cuts and cheese platter was also subpar. The cold cuts (salami, pancetta, ham, bresaola) weren't fresh, and after trying a couple, I decided to stop. When I asked for clarification, the response was rude and unprofessional, despite my experience in the restaurant industry. The cheeses were limited to two slices of Edam and mozzarella with oregano on top, a choice that compromised the flavor. I finished the aperitif without further ado: I paid and left, also noticing rude comments from the staff on my way out. An experience that, unfortunately, I cannot recommend.

02/01/2026: An experience in the heart of Sasso with a very suitable atmosphere. I recommend this place for hearty lunches and also for holiday lunches. It offers many dishes, all very generous, and excellent prices for each. It offers a wide selection of menu items and excellent table service. Very affordable.

06/02/2026: I went in the afternoon at 6 pm with my 4-year-old daughter. The wait was incredibly long (almost an hour, even though there weren't many people). The dining room was very dirty, with bins overflowing with trash. I pointed out the situation to the manager, who very kindly replied that they would clean up after the 7 pm shift arrived. He then went back to laughing and joking with some of his colleagues.

03/02/2026: At 9:15 PM today, February 3, 2026, I ordered two CBO menus at the Drive-Thru. I got the wrong change, the bag handles were added without asking, and I asked for a sandwich without onions, but I got a plain sandwich with just bread and meat. I went back and asked for a change, but in the meantime, both the other sandwich and the fries got cold. I'd say it was a poor dinner. I don't know if I'll ever go back to Gerenzano again.

26/12/2025: Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience, especially considering it was Christmas lunch. It was cold inside, which was definitely not pleasant for such a day. We spent €60 per person for service and quality that were disappointing. The lasagna was cold, the vol-au-vents mediocre, the roast beef overcooked and dry. The sea bass was average, with no particular positives. The cured meat appetizers were excellent, and indeed, they were good, as was the wine, which was one of the few positives. I also found the service inattentive, superficial, and inefficient. We had to specify several times during dinner that someone with celiac disease had already been noted at the time of booking. Overall, poor value for money and a Christmas lunch that didn't meet expectations. I wouldn't return.

30/12/2025: Spectacular brioche but you have to say that you want the coffee and cappuccino hot otherwise they will make them lukewarm (as explained to us by the cashier and the bar staff) 🤔

12/11/2025: TODAY THERE WERE THREE OF US TO EAT A FIRST COURSE I HAVE TO SAY ON THE POSITIVE GROUND THAT IT WAS VERY LARGE AND THE WAIT WAS RIGHT ALSO BECAUSE WE WERE AMONG THE FIRST COURSES THERE WERE NO PEOPLE YET BUT I'M SORRY BUT WE HAD ORDERED TORTELLINI ALLA BOSCAIOLA WHICH ALL LEFT ON THE PLATE BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT TORTELLINI BUT GIANT TORTELLONI FULL OF MEAT WITHOUT CREAM VERY DRY AND HEAVY INEEDIBLE TOO SHAME BECAUSE WE EVEN PAID 9 EUROS FOR THEM BUT THEY STAYED THERE.

02/11/2025: We stayed one night in this hotel, a big brother type room, that is, in a hovel with no assistance, paying 85 euros which is not worth it, dirty, plus zero breakfast, I do not recommend it to anyone, oops, dead bugs everywhere, it could close for us!

25/09/2025: Good service. But the rooms are scary. Full of spiders, dead and live bugs, and very damp.

11/08/2025: Delicious food, and incredibly affordable, definitely recommended. In my opinion, it's the best restaurant in Luino and the surrounding area. Good English, easy communication. Definitely recommended!

19/12/2025: An excellent pastry shop and café. The brioches are truly delicious, artisanal, meticulously crafted, and simply delicious. You can immediately sense the skill and passion of those who make them. The balance of flavors is perfect, and the cream is exceptional—far from industrial; you can clearly taste that it's handmade, with quality ingredients. And how could I not mention the pecans? Delicious!! The brioche alone is definitely worth the trip, but the café is equally good and completes the experience impeccably. The staff are a huge plus, all incredibly kind and friendly. Excellent organization and teamwork are evident. My absolute favorite breakfast in all of Varese. Sincere congratulations to the entire team and the organization: keep up the good work!

12/10/2025: Good evening, I don't know how to express this experience, I'll try, the poor service made me feel like I was at someone's house who served you without a shred of professionalism, I ordered tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, not even the shadow seemed like plain pasta, incredible, I won't go any further, they don't even know how to do the math, a very generous 3.

22/09/2025: Very nice outdoor spot. The food wasn't great: the tagliolini arrived almost immediately but had very little seasoning, and my nephew's order was lost. We reported it, but the dish arrived after about 40 minutes and was also undercooked. What a shame...

27/12/2025: Charred pizzas. When I mentioned it to the waitress, she said only the edges were burned, but not the bottom. Okay. Never again...

28/10/2025: I don't go there often, but every now and then, yes. I started going this summer, where a sushi aperitivo was €10. Now I can understand the increases, and I'm not saying anything, but raising the price to €11 and then reducing the size of the glasses and the alcohol seems excessive to me!! Good, average sushi, perhaps a little underheated, and average service. I won't be going back because of the glass size issue!! Literally two steps away, for almost the same money, you can get two rounds with an unlimited buffet!! I really feel sorry for the place.
