Ristorante Pizzeria Al Portichetto In Sesto calende

Pizzeria restaurant in the center of Sesto calende under the arcades. Good pizza, but the cover charge for a pizzeria for me is too expensive at €3 per person. Exaggerated.

The main course was very tasty although the carbonara was prepared with bacon and not the classic guanciale. A bit sad that the salad only came towards the end and the starter was actually just ham and nothing with it, no oil dip or anything like that.

When I am in Sesto it has become my favorite restaurant...excellent pizza, but you can eat good fish, average price

unfortunately we were not happy in general with this restaurant-pizzeria in Sesto Calende, we went in to eat a pizza and also ordered mineral water and a quarter of the house red wine, although someone last year wrote praises about the pizza we cannot agree with these statements, even if they may be subjective, because these pizzas are not worthy of having been cooked in a wood oven, however, apart from the opinion on the pizzas, the restaurant is well located in the center of Sesto Calende and this it is very favorable for the customers of the place also for a visit to this small village located on the border with Piedmont, the service and the drinks have been correct in an economic sense in relation to the place where it is located while the coffee is absolutely not acceptable, unfortunately the first bill presented to us had an error on the quantity of wine ordered, a liter instead of a quarter and consequently showed 10 euros more, the responsibility was taken by the waiter who together with another colleague had served us, consequently for a total amount of 32 euros with these conditions I do not recommend this pizzeria to anyone because you can always find better in this town by taking a slightly longer walk. Super focaccia, good pizza, honest beer, fair prices

Ristorante/pizzeria storico a Sesto Calende. Ambiente carino, antipasto di pesce discreto, sulla pizza con impasto integrale invece bisogna ancora lavorarci.

Ho 44 anni e vado al portichetto da quando era ragazzino, ho sempre mangiato bene, soprattutto il pesce, non mi sento di dare una stella, ma oggi la meriterebbero,. Menù dello chef, il polpo era duro come il legno, i paccheri con gli scampi era semplice pasta con pomodoro e panna con due scampetti messi li, ma la cosa che mi ha dato molto fastidio è la presa in giro del fritto di calamari, (rifiutati) sicuramente erano del giorno prima, secchi ed un’aspetto orribile, riscaldati al microonde, non si puó servire un piatto cosi, le patatine fritte navigavano nell’olio!! Alla cassa ho richiesto lo sconto spiegando l’accaduto e mi è stato concesso. Personale comunque sempre disponibile e cordiale nonostante l’accaduto. La giornata “no” puó capitare a tutti, spero la prossima volta di ritrovare il Portichetto che conoscevo, perchè ho sempre mangiato bene ed anche lo scorso anno, ho portato suoceri e cognati e sono rimasti tutti super soddisfatti!
