05/11/2025: Good drinks, made the right way.

01/11/2025: A business lunch in a welcoming and sophisticated setting, somewhere between rustic and modern. Excellent à la carte first and second courses, and the delicious white focaccia to accompany it is a must!

02/05/2025: BAD, very bad! We went for lunch on a day when there weren't many people, in fact, there were few occupied tables. Despite this, I was served a first and only appetizer (Goma Wakame) 5 minutes after ordering, but subsequently both I and my table mates were served half an hour later, perhaps even more! It is unacceptable. All for simple appetizers (the filled ravioli arrived after half an hour, in fact, but for the subsequent courses I had to wait another 10 minutes!). Once the appetizers were finished, we received some nighiri which to define as COLD is an understatement (in fact they seemed to have come out of the freezer...). They were inedible. The rest was sufficient/fair, something good. It's not the Shabu I remembered, unfortunately. Until 1 year ago it was, in my opinion, the best AYCE in Varese, but after the last experience I had to change my mind. Terrible service and sufficient quality (maybe not even). €25 wasted.. I hope it was a random disservice, but this was our experience. I'm ready to change my mind and leave him a new and nicer review, but we definitely won't be going back anytime soon.

13/04/2025: This Japanese restaurant is one of my favorite places. The food is always excellent: authentic dishes, meticulously prepared with quality ingredients. The space is cozy, small but very comfortable, with an intimate atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff is super friendly, welcoming, and attentive, always with a smile. My favorite dish? Udon noodles, without a doubt—warm, filling, and perfectly flavorful. A true treat. It's the kind of place you'll want to return to, because you know it will never disappoint.

16/09/2025: Even though I was passing through here at 2.20pm, he still let me have lunch without any problems and this shows professionalism.

07/08/2025: After a while, I tried a work lunch. Simple but freshly cooked, and the price was more than fair.

12/10/2025: A truly Italian atmosphere, with very friendly staff and a free aperitif and dessert drink. My favorite shop in Luino.

08/10/2025: A very fine and wonderful restaurant. The food was delicious. The service was rather stressed. Hence one star less. But we would come back in a heartbeat.

10/10/2025: At noon, a pizza with spicy salami and a Moretti pizza, €12 and that's fine. I go to sit at the table and the guy tells me I have to pay a cover charge... I say no thanks, I'll go eat it on the sidewalk, for a matter of principle. It's up to you to decide whether to go to the restaurant with a first course, second course, side dish, wine and coffee or pizza and beer!

01/06/2025: They speak english and serve a very good pizza. Coffee was great as well as the grappa. Thin crust pizza but with an unmatched flavor. Highly recommend.

28/09/2025: Very nicely located. Shady. Overwhelmed at lunchtime. The male waitresses were very courteous, but the two female staff were unfortunately disgruntled. Lots of pasta and very few vongole. Too expensive for that.

26/10/2025: A homey and welcoming atmosphere, well-prepared fresh seafood, and friendly and attentive service. Their ice cream is also excellent.

29/09/2025: The quality of the food is excellent. But don't rush: - arrived at 1:10 PM - appetizer served at 1:45 PM - main course at 2:20 PM - coffee and gelato at 3:00 PM, but because I pushed 😂 Parking right in front of the building is very convenient. Total, with two glasses of rosé, just over €40 each. We wanted lobster, but (rightly) we should have reserved it. And don't leave without enjoying the freshly made gelato!

05/10/2025: What a lovely café! They also sell coffee beans and make specialty coffees with chocolate, hazelnut, and cinnamon. Arianna, a super-skilled barista, keeps pace and prepares everything with the same care and precision.

06/11/2025: Just got a pizza with raw ham... the raw ham in question was old and smelled rotten. I've had pizza before, nothing special, but at least it was edible. I'm attaching a photo of the pizza, which unfortunately doesn't show the smell and especially the taste! Never again... Moral of the story: I had to throw the raw ham away. €7 for a pizza is fine, but if the quality is there, it's not a joke.

16/10/2025: Yesterday we celebrated a birthday at Maison de André, and I must say it was a truly enjoyable evening, with attention to every detail. The aperitif, rich and varied, was a real surprise, as was the excellent risotto served in a Grana Padano mold. The meatballs are a must-try! Highly recommended; I'll definitely be back.

12/07/2025: It's worth spending an hour in this little club which offers excellent club sandwiches, chips, abbey beers, all in a genuine atmosphere run by friendly and professional guys.

30/08/2025: We had breakfast here two weeks ago. We had two cappuccinos (one delicious coconut one) and a cream-filled pasticciotto, as good as the ones in Gallipoli! Excellent value and very kind staff! We'll definitely be back.
