Enchanting place, super welcoming and kind owners! Prices in line with the location, altitude, and management! The complaints in the negative comments should be more objective and take all factors into account! Highly recommended! The pizzoccheri are dreamy!

We passed by on July 23rd: we had booked a refuge, but along the trail a family recommended we stop here for the quality of the food. I can 100% confirm that the food is excellent: the tiramisu, in particular, is among the best I've ever tasted, if not the best. Highly recommended! A place to return to not only for the food, but also for the scenery and the warm welcome from the owners.

The first refuge you come across in Val Zebrù is about an hour and a half's walk from the Niblogo parking lot.
A truly beautiful and relaxing place, and the owners are very welcoming and hospitable.
All the products on the menu are homemade by Mr. Carlo, and everything is truly delicious, especially the polenta gnocchi.
The restaurant is open from June to the end of September, depending on the weather, as the owners mentioned.
A highly recommended stop!

Everything is truly delicious and exceptional.

Un’esperienza culinaria davvero fantastica. Dalla prima forchettata dell’antipasto (petali di lardo su patata) all’ultima cucchiaiata del semifreddo è stata una meraviglia gustativa. Lo spiedino di manzo era cotto alla perfezione, le tagliatelle fatte in casa ai mirtilli erano buonissimi. Non posso che consigliare assolutamente il ristorante. Menù fisso visto che fa anche da albergo, mi ha dato l’opportunità di scoprire nuove ricette, e farmi sorprendere.
La presentazione anche sempre da 4*. Cordialissima. Bravi!

After a nice, but not strenuous, hike, we stopped at this little mountain hut. The owners are two very nice people; her husband is a chef and very good at it. The food is excellent. She's very kind and helpful. The cakes are superb!!! Highly recommended.

Its small kitchen offers some amazing treats: excellent venison stew with polenta, excellent polenta gnocchi, and much more. We'll definitely be back!

We stopped for a drink. The beer wasn't exactly cheap, at 8 euros, but it was good. The service was friendly.
