We ate in the basement restaurant, which had a seafood menu, and we were delighted. The head waiter and chef were incredibly friendly, the fish was freshly caught daily from the Milan fish market, and the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend it!

It's like the cultural center of Livigno 🤣 Ski culture. 😬 The food is very good. It may not be cheap, but you know what I mean. Music, etc. I'll see if I can reserve a table today. I recommend it.

We tried the Bivio Bistrot. Excellent choice on the menu. Perfect food. Excellent drinks. Sunny terrace. When it started snowing outside, the Bistrot staff extended a tent roof and put on terrace heaters. Simply wonderful!

30/09/2025: Enchanting place, super welcoming and kind owners! Prices in line with the location, altitude, and management! The complaints in the negative comments should be more objective and take all factors into account! Highly recommended! The pizzoccheri are dreamy! PS: The only lodge open on September 28th in Val Zebrù!
26/09/2025: We passed by on July 23rd: we had booked a refuge, but along the trail a family recommended we stop here for the quality of the food. I can 100% confirm that the food is excellent: the tiramisu, in particular, is among the best I've ever tasted, if not the best. Highly recommended! A place to return to not only for the food, but also for the scenery and the warm welcome from the owners.

CROTTO AL PRATO

19/04/2026: The revisited sciatt are good, but you can't miss the classics. The gnocchi are excellent, but not very garlicky and without cabbage. Manfrigole are excellent. Overall, good, although they could use an extra waiter.
07/04/2026: During a few days' vacation in Valchiavenna and Valtellina, we chose to have lunch at this splendid restaurant in Chiavenna, nestled in a charming spot right beneath a rocky cliff. Even though we hadn't booked, and the restaurant was fully booked, the friendly staff welcomed us anyway, allowing us to enjoy a delicious lunch. We began with slices of bresaola already on the table, as well as a beautiful platter of exquisite local cheeses with honey and sauces. We then moved on to tender pork cheek with polenta and an excellent thick barley and vegetable soup. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the prices very fair, the service courteous, and the quality top notch!
